    I've used Brasso on my Kaweco Brass Sport with good results, and Brasso is commonly available in hardware stores. But the ketchup trick is a good one!

    I have 3 of the Ystudio Classic Brass pens here in Green, Red and Blue. I love them and these are the 3 pens I now keep inked up with different inks. With each of them I very very gently use the supplied sand paper along the lines of exposed brass which makes no real visual difference but the pens feel so much nicer on the corners, othwise the corners feel a bit harsh in the hand to me. These `Ystudio pens are so well made and I love the deep rich coulours combined with the brass. My other fvourite pen (like Elizabeth Altchison in the comments here) is a brass Kaweco. Both Kaweco and the Ystudio have just the right weight and balance and are a joy to write with and handle. These are pens that are made to last and last. Great video and can see a lot of real effort went into making it.

    The Ystudio presents an appealing combination of raw metal and lacquer, so that is my favorite among these brass pens. • @holohulolo
      @holohulolo หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yeah I think it's a really nice design between it being nice a draw brass and it being painted. If it were a brass fully painted and the paint wears off with use youd most likely see the part where you hold it wear out first, but not the reat of the body. Although eventually with handling the entire body would wear too but it would always start at tthe edges. So the design allows what's worn somewhere around the bottom half that you use most, but it would blend to the bare edges too. + it's just looks nice with a sort of gold line accent to it.

    I really like the design of that ystudio pen. Usually youd get either full painted parts or bear material with these metal body. I like that they leave the edges of the hexagon bear so it looks better when the lacquer paint wears out from use. The wear blends better than say the entire body is colourd youd see the wear mostly on where you hand is when you use it but not the rest. This way the wear would kind of blend to the edges, which in someway speeds up the wearing process
    Because with enough handling the wear would always stary at the edge too.
