TYSM!! I've been trying to understand this for days.
thank you! that is the clearest explanation i've heard, now it finally makes sense
Thank you, Shahar!
Best explanation ever!
Thank you so much! This is so helpful.
Thank you so much, this really helped!
very clear, like your voice
Thank you. Sir, will you please explain about beta blocker gradual withdrawal effect
really good and nice explanation if you need a fast overview of the processes. and some extra knowledge as well. thank you very much
Thank you!
this is not desensitization (of receptrs) in my opinion. Is just the reduction of the number of receptors. This is desentitization of a system, not "receptor desensitization" as in the title. isnt it?
It can be thought of as receptor downregulation.
thank uuuuuuuu
finally i found non-indian lecturer
How much time dora it take to bruno back receptora after kong exposure?
in this way we also can read the book
Are GCPRs internalized everytime upon activation?
The figure is missing a key part of the process, Protein Kinase A is activated by cAMP following the conversion of ATP to cAMP by the AC which is activated by the dissociated alpha sub unit. PKA activates Bark.
ok
I am not really sure, but wouldnt this result in inhibitory GPCR being unable to be desensitized?
Is their a way bring those receptors back up to the membrane or make more receptors to get the same amount of receptors that were there before?
They can be reinserted back to the plasma membrane through through dephosphorylation . This is known as resensitization.
wait so this is involved in addiction??
Beta ARK is is Beta Adrenergic Receptor Kinase and not Beta arrestin receptor kinase
You are correct; this is my mistake.
