As much as I like them trying to go back to their previous thematic narrative, if they do that, they'll have it backwards. The reason Piltover is above Zaun is precisely because they were the same city, but the rich wanted to avoid the noxious gases that affected the region (thanks to THEIR faulty planning). Now them not being directly above/below changes the history of the cities towards something we still dont know, but making them expand ABOVE Zaun makes the storyline get it backwards.
Well on that subject, I don't think it makes a lot of sense that the general Piltovan public is allegedly oblivious to Zauns oppression when in order to observe it all they would have to do is look down literally once, so I can't say I agree that the layout is a good design choice.
I think the blueprint for Blitzcrank was the thing Sky was gonna show Viktor when she said she wanted to do something to help people, before she had to be vacuumed. Viktor might put Sky's design to work to honor her.
Imagine tying his, Blitz, Jayce's and Dr. Stanwick Pididley's oore in that instead of Stanwick, it is Jayce who laid claim on Blitzcrank's creation. That would give the retcon justice.
didn't she write about helping with the hexcore? I'm pretty sure she just wrote her theories about the hexcore cus of viktor's interest in it, y'know, "everything that you do inspires me" kinda thing
I would say there's still room for Singed to get his horror roots back, just later than expected. He could be set up to join with noxus before an "Arcane 3" which could switch focus to the Invasion of Ionia
I agree. Necrit is "afraid" because the old Singed had no boundaries. But, to be fair, did Arcane showed Singed had any boundaries ? To me, he's (for now) the same as the old Singed, or at least walking slowly, but surely, the same path. "The mutation MUST survive" (for science), and he didn't care what would entail to the creature he tried to... "cure", as long as it was alive. He also didn't gave any sh*t about humans lives. (Silco: "Will he live?" Singed: "Long enough.") He was ready to going all in for improving its shimmer thingy, and he did (look at the bartender, or all the other addict of shimmer). A lot of people blame Silco about the situation of Zaun, but Singed was equally responsible, maybe even worse, because whereas Silco wanted shimmer to improve Zaun in the long run, willing to sacrifice part of the current generation, Singed might have done shimmer just for "science" and see how far that thing could go. So I'm pretty sure that if Noxus, in the future, asks him to do some batsh*t things in exchange for amnesty and total immunity, he'll go for it without even looking twice.
Yeah, I don't get it. The guy has a salamander that he has kept alive for like 20 years in a vat producing hulk juice that drives people insane and gives them berserker roid rage. What part of this is not horror?
@@johnschaeffer7008I agree with you guys. Arcane Singed I believe has definitely done a lot more brutal stuff that just wasn't explicitly shown. No effing way Arcane Singed is Vanilla in any way just because we haven't seen the gore yet.
Two points that I think could be adjusted, 1. At the end of Arcane Jinx obviously blows up the council. A fight breaking out and Piltover claiming upper Zaun seems a likely event, establishing the "pre-arcane" PnZ 2. In the event of conflict and potential hazards, we could see the start of Renata's story taking place, with her using the opportunity to gain loyalty and fill in the power vacuum created by the death of Silco.
Renata can't really fill all that tho, since she already had existed for decades in the story before all that happened. She's supposed to be at least as powerful as Silco in the same timeframe - but since she didnt existed when Arcane was written that can't be possible for season 2 Not only that, the biggest part of her character is about Piltover loving her - she can't really fit as a main Zaunite player in the time of most turmoil with Piltover without completely detracting from her main characteristic, that being how guillable Piltovans are about her
@@somerandomdude8095 That would mean Renata had a child that she loved A LOT, and that would really change everything about her character. Its a Theseus' Ship Paradox. Is she REALLY Renata if they changed everything about her besides the outward appearance?
"by the death of silco" DUDE CALL ME CRAZY, BUT I AM TELLING YOU SEVIKA WILL BE RENATA. DONT BELIEVE ME IF YOU WANT BUT I'VE BEEN FEELING IT IN MY BONES FOR A YEAR NOW AND NO ONE CAN TAKE IT AWAY FROM ME
How I figured the hexgates work was other nations could use them on return trips but not on trips to Piltover. So let’s say it’s takes a Noxus air balloon like 3 weeks to get there, they would be able to get back instantly using the fast travel of the hexgates. So it basically halves travel time for trade.
My thought is that only the elite would have access to them. So the general populous would still have to travel great, dangerous, distances to get anywhere
This is the most likely scenario. In the show it shows that the entire tower is literally filled with hextech energy. I doubt piltover would send that many hextech crystals to a foreign nation if they even have that many extra to spare.
Its quite possible (with the limited use we saw for the Hexgates) that the big Hexgate towers are programmed with a target for the airship being sent, and then they just have to make a return trip normally. Even with having to come home in a more mundane fashion, instant delivery of trade goods (like the mentioned wine in one of the council meetings) would probably be enough to dominate the economic landscape.
I could definitely see piltover not wanting to share the secrets of the hexgates considering how the city is are with it. If other countries got their hands on the tech they would loose a lot of that geopolitical power.
Jayce: I knew Hextech would change the future. This is going to help the world. Viktor: So long as we keep it from... unsavory types. Jayce: I'll do my best vik.
I hope they don't make Viktor a villain. I really liked how he was using shady methods to genuinely help people. I also liked how the cult of the glorious evolution may have been out of his control
I hope they do, most villains just have a flashback to explain their story, Viktor has the potential to be one of those villains you root for. Besides ARCANE was done so well and I trust they'll do it justice.
In Arcane season 1, there was no black and white. There is always a reason why everyone does something. So I think whether Viktor is a villain or not is going to be subjective.
Victor could potentially become a kind of tragic villain. Arcane is setting him up to being corrupted by the void, due to the shenanigans with the hexcore, which could gradually corrupt his scientific side and make him more and more obsessed with the "glorious evolution". In fact, id say it paves the way to a great internal struggle between the good victor we know from arcane and what he inevitably becomes, with an intermediate stage in between similar to his lol version.
with renata they could have her just take all of silco's shimmer stuff after his death. Thus, rebranding it as her own. Keeping it functionally the same thing, but with the different names.
@@Kalaggu2020 I get the idea, but they're too fundamentally different imo. Sevika's whole vibe is that she follows whoever's most willing to publicly make a stand, and Renata 1) is totally fine going under the radar and 2) would never yield power under any circumstance.
I really don't think things such as Heimerdinger building that T-hex will happen, since in the announcement they talked about all content coming up being canon, not necessarily past content.
@@neon2112i dont really think he forgot he’s just making content, without that “misunderstanding” he literally can’t make any content bc nothing is canon rn
Riot already said LoR is completely canon, so yeah, its past content IS canon. Necrit is right, his only problem is trusting Riot too much, because they clearly have no idea what they're saying by making LoR be completely canon like they did now. WAY too many plot holes
@@felipecouto1102 They didn't say that Lor is completely canon. They said that it's mostly in line with the canon. That means that some cards are obviously not canon (like the Cythria what if). The problem is that Necrit is continuing to see all cards as somewhat canon.
About Renata : Technically Silco is dead now... Right ? So my guess would be that in Arcane S2 we see Renata climb to fill the void of power left by Silco. Side note : That void pun makes way too much sense considering shimmer is void fueled. ANYWAY.
Unfortunely not even that makes a lot of sense, since she has a big presence in Zaun since her early 20s, and is currently around 50ish. They'll have to retcon Arcane season 1 if they want to shoehorn in Renata, since she's a way too important character to not be even mentioned. Unless they completely de-characterize her and make her younger, things really arent looking great for her inclusion...
@@felipecouto1102 we don't know the context about her ascencion on Zaun underground, maybe up until know she focused on her GLASC industries™ and only when she achieved certain fortune and influence she started her plan to fuck up Piltover
Ages wont match up, and they have said that P/Z will not be the main focus in future seasons, whe are still going to have PoVs there but they want to expand the scope of the world after S2
i think ezreal would be a nice addition in season 2 as a way to transition to different stories in different regions, you know, since he travels a lot and has a lot of different adventures. He wouldn't necessarily push season 1 and 2 story forward, but he could have his own incredible stories in the future, since we already know the pilltover/zaun story ends with s2. I hope this will be a bit like AHS in a sense, different seasons for different regions or sets of characters
I personally think it would be best to leave him for a Shurima storyline; he could be used as a "look at the aftermath of the previous seasons" device while still furthering the Shurima plotline.
Yeah, that's what I was thinking too. Like, maybe season 3 could be one of the earliest regions E,real visits, and we could have flashbacks from his POV to Piltover and Zaun. It'd be a clean way to add connective tissue for people who are only watching Arcane.
imo they should let the show end after everything wraps up in s2 but tease him a little bit on the side of what’s actually happening in arcane, then get a show by a different name. i’m mixed on this opinion, but it’s what i think i’m leaning towards. i mainly just don’t want the future of arcane to no longer be a story about the champions we’re following right now as i feel like it would water down the story that the show was initially meant to purely be in the first place and it wouldn’t really serve outside consumers (non league playing consumers) that had started watching the show for the current plot; my instinct are just telling me it wouldn’t go well if it isn’t it’s own separate series
Convergence is really awkward for Riot since the last cutscene shows the LoL multiverse. It's probably easier for Riot to ignore it and make it not canon.
Convergence felt too disconnected imo. Like it was a fun ass game, but the whole dynamic of Zaun and Ekko felt so detached from everything else that it didn't feel very grounded. I'm honestly fine if it gets written out
@@nicolasperez-picasso5357it felt disconnected indeed, but i would hate for arcane's groundness to dictate what happens in the core universe, since characters like Zac/Mundo/Twitch will not fit in that universe and will likely not be even written as canon, because otherwise with them existing Arcane wouldn't make sense by not having them prominently influence the plot
@@MrIljuha2000 yeah I agree, I'm not a fan of Arcane becoming the foundation either. Runeterra would lose a lot of it's charm if it got all serious and modern
Considering that Mel's death is quite likely, I am pretty sure Noxus will play a large part next season. Her mother would rather march on Zaun than let that one go.
They straight up call it "the undercity", I don't get where people got this notion that Zaun is above ground. Vi and the gang takes the sewers and an elevator down to get home in the very first episode.
It seems like one is on an elevated ridge and one is in a valley. Piltovers absolute bottom level and zauns absolute top are connected by a single bridge. But they are still above and below, as evidenced by the elevator.
I think it's also important to note, because of the medium of TV series, they can't include every character that's from Zaun and Piltover. It's best to imagine that this is early in the timeline and some characters haven't become who they are yet. And also, both the cities are HUGE! It could be very likely that their stories are happening at the same time but we are just not seeing it.
Considering that the other Barons will exploit the power vacuum left behind by Silco, it is not hard to imagine that one of them or several will cause the catastrophes.
I kinda like the idea of mixing modern things with standard fantasy. I feel like if they keep the Hexgates rare and only in Piltover and Noxus the world will stay feeling big. Singed could also still being doing horrifying things off screen. He's a side character so it makes sense that they wouldn't put much focus on him. Maybe they could make a scary movie or a spin off series centered around him. Silco is also dead, so they could easily just say that Renata took his place after he died. For Ekko, maybe he used time travel and messed up the timeline which led to him being an orphan in Arcane? I feel like that could also make for an interesting story for a spin off series or movie. Arcane is mostly focused on Jinx, Vi, Viktor, and Jayce. It makes sense why they won't be exploring the other champions as much, that'd just be too much to do in a limited amount of time. Saving their full stories for shows/movies centered around them seems like a good idea to me.
Even only having them in piltover as a one way portal still makes them the trade centre of the world. Instead of having to ship your goods over seas you can bring them a little to piltover and have it instantly transported.
I think a lot of this can be handled with time skips/perspective skips. For example, just because Renata is a major power broker in Zaun, doesn't mean that it's happening right now in Zaun. It could be events that occur 5-10-15 years later that detail her rise to power. The timeline can be a little bit timey-wimey when you merge multiple universes.
The Ekko changes are my biggest worry. As an Ekko one-trick, I’m super invested into his lore, especially the core universe. I love Arcane Ekko, but it feels like his character is too different to merge everything. I honestly prefer the core universe lore over Arcane, and I’m scared of losing all of it.
Seems very likely most of old Ekko is gonna get overwritten. They might be able to incorperate some bits and pieces, but your right that the characters are just too different, and with Arcane being declared part of the "new canon" it is what it is
That's very fair. But i think they could do it, Ekko could still have parents (he seems like an orphan in Arcane, but who knows, it was never said explicitly.) and maybe he comes from home to hang with the firelights and has to make an excuse or something.
same here and old ekko is gone bro riot would rather do this stupid lore shit becuase it will " make runeterra accessible to more people" even though they orginally said it was gonna be a love letter to the fans. league lore is dead now
The only new character that I'm really hoping for is Ziggs bro matches Jinx's personality really well, they both like explosions and he would be a great companion to Jinx. He's possibly also a scientist as well, maybe with connections to Heimerdinger. This would also give the show another yorlde character, where there will be 1 yordle from each of the two regions.
Okay so I thought about it about a day after watching the video but I think I have actual critique about some things: Specifically the connection between Arcane and LOR. Everything that has been done in Lor was made without arcane in mind. There are tons of things there that have to be implemented from a different angle, things like the T-Rex will probably never happen. I am very certain that Arcane will continue to enjoy complete freedom to go wherever the story leads them, so don't be too certain that any Arcane characters LOR version will not be changed. And about retcons they will most likely happen around the arcane characters so everything we know right now about them - we don't now for sure except its in arcane.
I really hope in season 2 they manage to have Zeri in there. Maybe not even a whole storyline, but if we're going down the shimmer path, it would make sense to have the vigilante that is Zeri show up. Maybe they could give her more of a story that way, too, because right now her lore feels lacking.
Hottake: Please dont give too much screentime to zeri. give her a small background role, ekkos sidekick probably. i dont want or need another league champ in arcane, focus on the current main cast and give everyone else cameos. Only Camille pre-hextech body and pre-bossbitch renata are in my opinion appropriate to join season 2; camille becomes part of an anti-terrorist force beacuse of jinx and renata takes silcos spot as crimeboss.
@@BlackRainRaven Goat take. That’s my main worry as well, trying to focus on TOO many champions. Or trying to give EVERYONE a cameo. Focus on the main roster and the champs that have been teased (ww) until THIS story is finished.
What? Zeri is most trash champ, maybe only yuumi and ksante beats her, no one cares about her, she is bad, she needs to be deleted asap or hard reworked, she is not worthy to be in arcane
I think Ryze not being blue makes sense because of the Young Ryze skin. You can make it so that Ryze became blue due to all the runes finally changing him once enough of the were on his body.
@@Oscar97o it’s possible, but then again I recall Ryze being very gatekeepy about runes. I don’t think he would let someone else have them and if they did he would just confiscate them. Jayce having one could be a counter but if it’s just one that he left behind I don’t see an issue.
Ryze was blue during the rune-wars according to the Call of Power cinematic, where you can see him overlooking a city ravaged by one of the runes. The Runewars takes place WAY before any of the current major cities are established, so the only way it'd make sense is if he was hiding his skin color or if they simply retcon the blue skin until later.
Ekko doesn't have to be an orphan to be in the Firelights, he can still have loving parents. It's just something that needs to be explored in Season 2 in SOME degree. (We don't need an episode about him and his parents, but it would be nice.) As for Mundo and Urgot, those two are very easy to bring into Arcane 2, and we already have two examples of how they can do it. Vander and Viktor. All we really need is a background character for a Chem Baron who's a giant guy who gets in the way, and have Boram Darkwill send Urgot to Zaun to find "allies"... and have Urgot find a down-on-his-luck, desperate-to-finish-his-experiments Singed. Evil Singed isn't too difficult to bring out of this as well, even without going the Shimmer route. I wouldn't put it past them to have Mundo given to Singed as punishment, and Singed experiments on him, which turns him into Mundo the way that he turned Vander into Warwick. That's all probably really basic and simple, and I doubt Arcane would do any of that as written - they're just examples of how it's possible, without too much work. Singed and Orianna... that's going to be something they probably walk back. They never SAID it was Orianna, but they certainly liked it when we took it that way, so there's a responsibility there to clarify. Or modify somewhat - maybe Singed is the Godfather, or an Uncle, or just a family friend. Or the picture is someone entirely different and only exists in Arcane.
If you want to think about what characters will be added in Season 2. Look to Noxus. Darius, Draven, Swain, Mel's Mom. I think that's where they're taking it next season, which then probably leads us to discovering either Demacia or more of Shurima.
It is a bit weird how they're going to make everything work, but I think it is doable with some shifting around. Like for Renata as an example, she could still become the chem-baron she is. Silco is gone and there is now a power-vaccum that people will fight for. Singed is a bit weird as he's clearly middle aged and we don't quite fully know his origins of how he ended up in Zaun, so there's some room to wiggle something in there. I think Jayce will want to begin Militarizing Piltover with the Hex-tech after Jinx's attack, and Viktor will want to use it to help people instead. Jayce could be introduced to Camille here and set-her story up along with the expansion of Hex-Tech. Viktor could create Blitz, or they could shift that to Ekko and Heimer, and just have Viktor focus more on the mechanical stuff. I don't know if we'll get much more of Vi & Jinx as it felt like they were the main focus on season 1, and season 2 will shift away from them a bit. Urgot could be introduced along with another potential Noxus figure like Swain, which I felt like was being foreshadowed in season 1 with all the Crows. There could be some sort of conflict which severly hurts Urgot and that results in him getting left to die in Zaun. He then changes and could then be set-up for the cinematic where we see Vi & Cait take on Urgot (Seeing as that is also canon now). I don't think we'll see much or any of Seraphine, Mundo, Twitch, Zac or Ziggs. They don't strike me as characters that will be major players in Arcane's story. They could be referenced or have like a small scene to help with their story or character development. Seraphine could potentially used in Season 2 as she could provide music which ties the story of Piltover vs Zaun. As for Ezreal and the Ionian's that travel to Zaun looking for Jhin, that's also something I'm not entirely sure on. Riot could just drop that whole story or they could make a cameo in the background of a scene.
My best guess as to how they would solve ryze is just saying that his scene in arcane was Jayce's pov, whether his perception of Ryze is altered by magic or just the situation at the time
To be honest Necrit, Ekko didnt get much sincere dialogue in arcane, i dont think there was any reason to mention parents, so they still could add it to the story later as a flashback or something
Which would still be weird, because why wouldn't parents, that he loves so much in his core, to be not mentioned even once? Every major character in Arcane has at least one familial connection mentioned, unless actually stated or shown otherwise
@@MrIljuha2000 Not really. Vi, Powder and the others would already know of them and there was no reason to mention them to Caitlyn or Heimerdinger. Just because something wasn't mentioned doesn't mean it doesn't exist.
@@MrIljuha2000 In season 1 of Arcane, Ekko is a secondary character. Now, I expect this to change in season 2, but in season 1 he was only a side character that the main cast got to interact with. We never followed him, and he doesn't get an arc. I don't see any reason why his parents should have been mentioned, it wouldn't have mattered in any way to the storyline of season 1.
12:01 Well there's still space for Ekko's parents to be alive, since they weren't stated to be dead, I mean they might just not have anything to do with the main storyline.
Heimer being only 300 y/o also brings up the question of how did he saw the rune wars (I think he's referring to the rune wars when he's talking about of how humanity can't control magic )

ive spent the past few months working on the p/z chapter of my runeterra dnd campaign, spent days coming up with ways to reconcile arcane with the then-canon lore, found solutions to all of the major problems, and then they dropped this on me :’)))) cant wait for season 2 to tear down all my theories god bless
the skarner update is the real zinger honestly; my personal solution for the hextech problem was that camille’s family actually was the first to discover it, but kept it a secret so their family could monopolize the very limited brackern crystals, and then slowly develop a synthetic version- then jayce stumbles into a stray batch of raw crystals and brings hextech into the public eye. with skarner’s lore change i dont see that theory holding up, unless they give us a similarly limited origin for the hextech crystals. wrt ekko’s parents, they were described as always working long hours in the factorywood to support him, so it would make enough sense that he spent a lot of time at benzo’s as a kind of babysitter/apprenticeship situation (i imagine ekko’s parents wouldnt have left their young son unsupervised during their work days). orianna’s situation was a sillier one to resolve but she coulda had two dads 🤷 i imagine their arguments over the ethics of how to cure her sickness would have been grounds for divorce lmao. i could go on but man. season 2 cant get here fast enough
Long shot on Ekko, but since we know he develops the ability to truly time travel in convergence he could have gone back to when he was a child to try and stop something and inadvertently killed his parents leading to current Arcane Ekko.
That would be a mind-fuck that I would honestly not like to see as a writing perspective. Altough I agree, it is probably the only way to make convergence canon
I feel like a lot of these characters being in the background of shots would really liven up the universe while supplying a lot of the fan service various players want to see. Just little hints to and around various characters to get the various one tricks excited every now and then.
The Silco/Renata thing is solved so easily by the fact that Silco is now extremely dead and that this will create a power vacuum in Zaun. One where a new Chem Baron(-ess) might step in and take over in his place.
Given that Arcane was in production for like six years, Riot had tons of time to avoid creating all these lore inconsistencies but are only now attempting to address them.
Bruh, Arcane was in development before most of Piltover and Zaun was established in the lore. Hell Brackern weren’t even related to hextech back then. Pretty sure Camille didn’t even exist. If they had to keep changing Arcane to match the ever-evolving lore, it would have never come out. They’d have to start over every time a new PnZ champ was introduced, or some new lore detail is added. The show would be ass, and would be nowhere near as good as it is now. And if we go the other way around, basing all of PnZ lore on a fucking half-written TV show still in the early stages of development , then we wouldn’t have any PnZ champs OR lore developments in those six years Remember when the Piltover and Zaun champions were left out of the Sentinels of Light event? Why do you think that was?
@@cartoonishidealism582 Then perhaps jumping the gun and trying to make a show about a world that is STILL in the process of rebooting its lore over a decade after that reboot happened may have not been the smartest idea in the first place. Don't get me wrong: I love Arcane. It is an amazing show, but the only reason we have all these deviations between the main canon, Arcane and LoR is because Riot is only now seeming to realize how messy things get when they have different teams all working on telling different stories in the same world without proper coordination between them. I am quite certain that both Arcane and the PnZ lore could have been written in tandem with one-another, but now we have to go back and retcon things like the origins of hextech and Vi's upbringing just so fans don't have to keep track of multiple continuities. Also, Sentinels excluded characters from every region that could/should have been involved in the story. They didn't even have half the Shadow Isles cast present for a Shadow Isles event.
@@GoldLight73 Yes, but maybe that’s not a bad thing? Arcane is good precisely BECAUSE it didn’t need to be tied down to a massive universe. They were allowed to do their own thing, make changes when it would have served the story better. They basically cut out anything that wasn’t directly relevant to the story they wanted to tell, and it led to a BETTER, TIGHTER story that didn’t have to deal with a million other characters and plot points. At the end of the day, a single TV show with a small cast of characters has VASTLY different storytelling needs than a massive expansive universe. Trying to make it all one canon, feels like a step back. Like, is Arcane now saddled with trying to figure out what to do with Urgot, or Camille, or Dr Mundo? I’d rather have a bunch of good, isolated stories that don’t perfectly line up rather than one mediocre universe full of storytelling compromises
@@GoldLight73 I mean that's why Arcane worked, they decided to take creative liberties to the story and not be bound by the core universe. While the core universe is vast in lore and even something like a hextech crystal has a deep story in it how much should you consider and include before the story becomes a convoluted mess. Afaik, didn't the writers first attempt to pitch into making arcane got rejected? And they also had to go to rewrites? about the fast travel tower, given how it work you could say is economical/faster, for noxus to ship stuff to piltover, then from piltover to other zones, the traveling back taking as long as usual, but this would lower shipping cost and times, and turn piltover into a trading hub
Ekko is the 2nd person in this universe who can actually have different stories. The firts being zilian. I think its likely for ekko to go through time displacements and end up in different futures and past. And could give some butterfly effect to his story. Pretty cool

Even though Ekko reconciles with his parents in Convergence, it might still be something that spurs him into helping actual orphans find a family. And since it isn't explicitly confirmed that he is an orphan in arcane, it is possible to somehow merge them.
I do not like the idea that Viktor is going to become "Evil". From what I understand of his stories and character's he has never been portrayed as evil, only as misunderstood and maybe a little grandiose. It really shouldn't be a question on how Viktor is going to become "Evil" but more on how Viktor is going to embrace further and further self augmentations in his own brand of progress.

I love Ekko's new story arc... i think it's amazing and way more interesting. Victor as well... amazing storyline for him. I'm excited to see what happens with those two especially.
Now they should release Silco as a champion in legend of Runeterra, and make Rennata use an upgraded version of Shimmer and control a ruined Zaun after Silco died and left all addicts without doses.
And who did arcane reference would take over? HM?? SEVIKA, RIGHT? SEVIKA HAS A ROBO """"""LEFT""""" ARM, RIGHT?? I AM NOT CRAZY, YOU ARE CRAZY. I HAVE BELIVED FOR A YEAR NOW, I BELIEVEE!! edit: AND VI RIPPED IT OFF WICH MEANS SHE CAN UPGRADE IT LIKE RENATA HAS IT. II AMM NOOT CRAZYY, YOU ARE
If i had to guess, they wouldn't make any of these teleporting towers anywhere. Currently Jayce has full authoriti over Hextech, so for one, he wouldn't let this technology get out of piltower. I also presume at some point thr tower will be destroyed, and hextech becomes so much of a threat after Jinx's Shenanigans, that they will never build one again.
I can see the power vacuum left by Silco as a reason as to how some people would end up abusing experiments with Shimmer while others try to take his place leaving a lot of room for the characters cited at the end to show up.
I think Riot is overly ambitious by wanting everything to be one universe. Arcane should be it's own thing, alongside other movies or shows they may release in the future. Everything else should work together just fine. And I don't think it's too much to ask of the audience to accept that Arcane is just it's own thing and not connected to the rest. Every franchise is turning into a multiverse at the moment, so Runeterra having two different versions isn't that difficult to understand. And are just going to forget about the other alternative universes from the skins?
It's just a strategic marketing move. Think how easily to bring people into the game with cinematics/movies (especially MMO they working on) and people gonna get confused when they find out that events in the show isn't actually canon and you need to read 15 novels instead of that.
Arcane IS just better, I don't want "iron man, but worse" coming from Jayce. There's still time to tie the loose ends that they NEED to tie and "overly ambitious" is fine with the budget and staff they have. The "I don't think it's too much to ask of the audience to accept that Arcane is just it's own thing" I agree when we talk about the acceptance of the new audience (but I disagree with the Arcane shouldn't be canon part), I mean it worked for harry potter and marvel (although let's not talk about current marvel, that IS a fucking shitshow)
Tbh, I just always wanted to see Zac in arcane since...big blob dude does big blob dude stuff and saves people. He'd actually be such a fun character to watch funny animated
I really have a bad feeling about Arcane 2: making it canon means they will now almost be forced to adapt to the current story, rather than just being free to do whatever they want and we all know what happens when stuff like this happens-
But there is not current story anymore to adapt Arcane to, that's the whole point: Arcane ( and season 2 had already been written from quite some time now) is what the new stories will have to adapt themselves to.
since renata first came out that i've had this theory and i still believe it might be true: renata is just future sevika, i mean she's a powerful woman who has followed many powerful before her so whether it was her intention to become the "boss" of zaun or she happened to become the one running the city purely by circumstance i just think she will become renata, they even share the prosthetic arm (renata's just being more advanced)
I really think they're gonna turn Sevika into Renata. Similar appearance, similar attitudes, and Sevika seems to be best poised to fill the void left by Silco, putting her in the same position Renata would be RN. In Arcane 2 Riot can either combine the characters, totally forget Renata exists, or have 2 entrepreneurial undercity cyborg ladies with the same arm missing. There seems to be too much aesthetic and narrative overlap for them to exist in tandem, and considering how Renata was released during Arcane I really doubt they'll scrap her. Of course Renata's lore would need to change, but no more than most other characters already have. Just my thoughts.
I think trying to connect everything into the same universe is going to run into issues the same ways it has in the past. They should've just said they would limit the number of universes they are maintaining, and trying to keep the core as stable as possible. Having everything be canon in the same universe is something that sounds good on paper, but will be a source of headaches going forward in perpetuity for all the edge cases that would be cool in a branched universe, but really difficult to massage into canon. So either potentially cool stuff will just not get written (since they require a branched universe), or the core canon will keep having more and more jank.
I loved ekko’s original lore and I like ekko’s appearance in arcane but I don’t know how they’re going to do this but I hope somehow they combine the two
I've been reading the comments here and as much as I'd like to see characters like Jhin, Camille, Renata, while some do have good reasons why they should be in S2. I'm just thinking how hard that would be 😅 since the main characters have to fix the situation that happened after the end of S1. Continuing with the storyline with Warwick and then adding like 10 characters they'd have to properly develop within 8-10 episodes. Hopefully no one gets disappointed just because their favorite character didn't show yet. But realistically there's only so much screen time they can use which is necessary for the old characters and the new story which will be told.
@@Levi_Ackerman_005 They said that there will be 3 new champions in the second season, we already know that Warwick is one of them, I would say that Camille and Renata are the other 2
Ziggs is my favorite champ, but I 100% agree. Ziggs used to be the unofficial mascot for rotating game modes, there were teaser cards with his motif all over them, he has icons specifically for them (doom bots and one for all), has a comic with Jinx, and gets skins more regularly than a lot of his fellow champs. I would love to see another Yordle in Arcane, but there are definitely other champs that could use the screen time more.
My thoughts on the relay tower was that it was a piltover only commodity like say if noxus bought a shipment of merchandise from piltover part of the appeal to pick piltover over other locations where it could be purchased would be that safe an effective means of transport. You could order one day then get it delivered after 1 or 2 business days the return trip for the ship tho doesn't have to be fast either or be heavily guarded its an empty ship with the bare minimum crew for operation because when it held value it was blasting through the sky like a comet essentially untouchable by normal means of raiding. The system would be set up so the ships are essentially valueless and expendable when not actively holding cargo and that makes it attractive for piltover because it let's them keep the tower tech to themselves while making as much as they want from the fast delivery they offer and quality of the merchandise sold while barely having to spare a thought on how the bare minimum ships get returned
I don’t like the way you brush past things that completely change the worldbuilding of Runaterra. There’s a reason why Piltover is built above Zaun, which is to escape the toxic air. That doesn’t make sense if they’re next to each other. Silco is the first to call the undercity the “Nation of Zaun”, which if we’re following the canon presented in Arcane, would completely vanish the entire canon of Oshra Va’Zaun being the city that was there in the first place. The very name “Piltover” existing wouldn’t make sense because the city is no longer built above the river Pilt. Corina Veraza would make zero sense giving the context from LotR to Arcane, giving that she’s Silco 3.0 (or the OG Renata) That means Mel would most likely die if there’s no mention of her at all in League or Lotr, which is spoiling the 2nd season before it even begins. Viktor doesn’t make sense. Ekko doesn’t make sense, Orianna doesn’t either. Camille suddenly stops having any importance. You’re defending mediocrity. You’re defending a terrible idea. This is not for the best. They had two years to clear this up before giving the announcement and we only received silenced on their part, now we have to wait until Fall 2024 (Another whole year) wondering what’s canon and what’s not just for Arcane season 2 to come out and (I’ll be coming back to this comment once this happens) present even more incongruity to the narrative that they will not be able to fix properly. To which you will then say “It’s just fine I don’t really care.”
In the Ruination book, Ryze is not blue/purple, he is a normal human with strong magic affinity for runes, so maybe he will get a big big update soon TM
I dont think that just because Ekko's parent werent mentioned in Arcane mean they will be retconned. With all the shit he dealt, i could see him isolating himself from them so that they are safe, and I think situation with Zaun and Plitover is pretty simple too... we didn't see all of it in Arcane, and the panoramic shots we see during the series kinda show that they are much bigger than just what we see.
Perhaps Renata took over officially after Silco died? I've always imagined she'd simply take over with that happening, possibly earning Piltover's trust by deliversing Silco's body to the council or something. It could be really interesting. Though I don't believe she'll appear as more than a cameo in S2... unfortunately... Her and Camille could make great secondary villains for the political relations plotline.
@@d4s0n282 Finn* said so and he said it refering to himself to sway sevika, so no. I don't think so. BUT!! mark my words, SEVIKA IS RENATA, I HAVE BELIEVED FOREVER AGO AND ALWAYS WILL, till proven otherwise of course
@@Kalaggu2020 They look nothing alike except for the prosthetic and the darker skin, and we know how Sevika lost her arm; and it was certainly not trying to save her parents from a fire. They really *shouldn't* merge them into one, as they are such inherently different characters.
@@The.Official.Serpentine Dude, you forget that any point based on "league lore" is objectively wrong until proven otherwise (so anything like "renata this or that, ekko this or that, senjuani this or that" in the now established "old lore"). Arcane overwrites anything lore related and EVERYTHING can change, that's the entire point of the dev blog. So get mad at me if you want but riot literally said so, you might as well be mad at them. But also, your point IS valid. I'm doing a VERY farfetched theory, but I still believe
I think the best way to straighten out the lore is to brute force it. It'll be easier for the lore team to put together the puzzle pieces and TH-camrs like Necrit have material to talk about and help others understand the new lore. Everybody wins in that situation. Unrelated, I hope my girl Kai'sa gets some canon lore attention. I feel sad that most of her appearances happen in parallel universes, to advertise for new skins, while canon Kai'sa is just a Samus Aran clone on the edge of the Void plotline.
Here's some ideas •ekkos parents are alive, they just work so much they're never around. Possibly mining? •singed can be oriannas dad and he just changed his name to singed as a cover up •shimmer could have been his attempt to save orianna, but ended up killing her and that's why he changed his name and went into hiding. • vander/Warwick could be his first attempt at bringing back the dead with tech and shimmer • singed and a tainted Viktor could work together after to try to resurrect orianna using singed's knowledge of bringing the dead back and Viktor's knowledge of technology and the hextech gemstones. After all, they both would have people they're desperate to resurrect. •zaun could eventually be below piltover due to a massive quake in that huge canyon.
Okay, you bringing up Warwick reminded me that back in like Season 1 I recall that Soraka cursed Warwick for his heinous crimes and that's why he's a beast. I have not touched League Lore since basically S1 -- so anyone who is savvy, refresh me memory on the significance that was Soraka and Warwick in OG Lore. Cuz if my blurred memory is correct - Necrit's theory about Vander wouldn't even be accurate to lore. But if it's not correct, I wanna be reminded of the accurate depiction.
One thing that I always hoped would be mentioned in easter eggs in Arcane would be Janna. In League’s lore she’s hyped up to be one of the most important deities in Zaun, and in LOR she really shines through her new design update. Long story short, I just want to see my main having some spotlight
Just a tid bit, based on a league skin for Ryze, we know that he didn't always have blue skin. Maybe Jayce saw Ryze before his pigment was changed by using excessive power from the runes.
I feel like the “Piltover not being above on top of Zaun” thing could be fixed with Piltover expanding on top of zaun
Ok, someone get this to riot. Not that they will do it, but its such a cool idea to explore
@@forcommentingpurposesonly2918 that is easily fixed by making another layer on top of zaun that becomes piltover
@@felipecouto1102 better have it backwards than entirely scrapped, no?
I think the blueprint for Blitzcrank was the thing Sky was gonna show Viktor when she said she wanted to do something to help people, before she had to be vacuumed. Viktor might put Sky's design to work to honor her.
Imagine tying his, Blitz, Jayce's and Dr. Stanwick Pididley's oore in that instead of Stanwick, it is Jayce who laid claim on Blitzcrank's creation. That would give the retcon justice.

He could've already did it which is why he was kicked out of piltover
Yeah, I don't get it. The guy has a salamander that he has kept alive for like 20 years in a vat producing hulk juice that drives people insane and gives them berserker roid rage. What part of this is not horror?
@@johnschaeffer7008I agree with you guys. Arcane Singed I believe has definitely done a lot more brutal stuff that just wasn't explicitly shown. No effing way Arcane Singed is Vanilla in any way just because we haven't seen the gore yet.
I really hope we get the noxian invasion of iona in arcane at some point
Two points that I think could be adjusted,
1. At the end of Arcane Jinx obviously blows up the council. A fight breaking out and Piltover claiming upper Zaun seems a likely event, establishing the "pre-arcane" PnZ
2. In the event of conflict and potential hazards, we could see the start of Renata's story taking place, with her using the opportunity to gain loyalty and fill in the power vacuum created by the death of Silco.
Riot confirmed Season 2 will be about War. obviously after Jinx blew up the council there will be war between Piltover Noxus and Zaun
Renata can't really fill all that tho, since she already had existed for decades in the story before all that happened. She's supposed to be at least as powerful as Silco in the same timeframe - but since she didnt existed when Arcane was written that can't be possible for season 2
Not only that, the biggest part of her character is about Piltover loving her - she can't really fit as a main Zaunite player in the time of most turmoil with Piltover without completely detracting from her main characteristic, that being how guillable Piltovans are about her
@@felipecouto1102 what if they make her that one baron that had the worker child thing? the one in vi and jayce's scene. They do look similar

How I figured the hexgates work was other nations could use them on return trips but not on trips to Piltover. So let’s say it’s takes a Noxus air balloon like 3 weeks to get there, they would be able to get back instantly using the fast travel of the hexgates. So it basically halves travel time for trade.
yeah i guess.
Also deliveries. Piltover can send a ship to Noxus instantly, then it flies around making it's deliveries before returning home.
My thought is that only the elite would have access to them. So the general populous would still have to travel great, dangerous, distances to get anywhere
I just figured it was the MMO fast travel system and didn't think much beyond that.
If other countries got their hands on the tech they would loose a lot of that geopolitical power.
yea i mean they have to know noxus is pretty scary, you would not want a massive land ruled by warlords to have teleportation to your coordinates
For the mass relay towers, it could also be a sort of fast travel for the MMO too
Jayce: I knew Hextech would change the future.
They can always retcon Viktor, which I firmly believe is the best move.
hes literally becoming evil in the first season. kinda like a mad scientist like his mentor singed lol. this is why you dont write
In Arcane season 1, there was no black and white. There is always a reason why everyone does something. So I think whether Viktor is a villain or not is going to be subjective.
@@blitzcometnot really
Victor could potentially become a kind of tragic villain. Arcane is setting him up to being corrupted by the void, due to the shenanigans with the hexcore, which could gradually corrupt his scientific side and make him more and more obsessed with the "glorious evolution". In fact, id say it paves the way to a great internal struggle between the good victor we know from arcane and what he inevitably becomes, with an intermediate stage in between similar to his lol version.
I agree. How Viktor is being panned out? I don't see him as a bad enemy to the lore. More like a tragic opposition to Jayce.
And the void loves corrupting people to get more power, which coincides greatly with his “glorious evolution” stuff
with renata they could have her just take all of silco's shimmer stuff after his death. Thus, rebranding it as her own. Keeping it functionally the same thing, but with the different names.
That sounds like something she would do. I doubt piltovans would buy anything with the word shimmer on it.

He wouldn't necessarily push season 1 and 2 story forward, but he could have his own incredible stories in the future, since we already know the pilltover/zaun story ends with s2. @@duhneez2068i think Necrit said it in one of the recent videos, don’t remember which one exactly though :-(
I personally think it would be best to leave him for a Shurima storyline; he could be used as a "look at the aftermath of the previous seasons" device while still furthering the Shurima plotline.
Runeterra would lose a lot of it's charm if it got all serious and modern

i hope because the possible noxus conflict maybe getting veigar or swain
I hope we get Ziggs! Jinx needs her friend and Heimerdinger needs his boyfriend.
I think Zaun is still mostly underground in Arcane, just not directly below Piltover
They still can make underground city under Piltover. Technically in Arcane the big mining catastrophes which destroyed Zaun did not happen yet.
Considering that the other Barons will exploit the power vacuum left behind by Silco, it is not hard to imagine that one of them or several will cause the catastrophes.
It's not under it... There nothing under piltover.
Honestly not making Ekko look like a perpetual 12 year old is the best thing Arcane ever did for League

But i think they could do it, Ekko could still have parents (he seems like an orphan in Arcane, but who knows, it was never said explicitly.) and maybe he comes from home to hang with the firelights and has to make an excuse or something.
same here and old ekko is gone bro riot would rather do this stupid lore shit becuase it will " make runeterra accessible to more people" even though they orginally said it was gonna be a love letter to the fans. league lore is dead now
i love arcane ekko way more.
Yeah, both of his stories, whether core or Arcane are great on their own.
The only new character that I'm really hoping for is Ziggs
bro matches Jinx's personality really well, they both like explosions and he would be a great companion to Jinx. He's possibly also a scientist as well, maybe with connections to Heimerdinger. This would also give the show another yorlde character, where there will be 1 yordle from each of the two regions.
If Vander turns out to be Warwick does that mean he's got that dawg in him?
i like the idea of ori being taken to viktor by singed to save her from an illness
Same
Okay so I thought about it about a day after watching the video but I think I have actual critique about some things: Specifically the connection between Arcane and LOR.
I hope they wont. Zeri is a lame character
It would make sense, but now that we're getting an actual show it would be more respectable if they'd honor the older champs by showing them
Hottake: Please dont give too much screentime to zeri. give her a small background role, ekkos sidekick probably. i dont want or need another league champ in arcane, focus on the current main cast and give everyone else cameos.
I mean, Ryze has a skin called "Young Ryze" (Human Ryze Before) where he isn't blue. So I'm guessing he just becomes blue when he's older.
I think Ryze not being blue makes sense because of the Young Ryze skin. You can make it so that Ryze became blue due to all the runes finally changing him once enough of the were on his body.
I think the mage that saves Jayce and his mother just isn't Ryze.
I think Camille should be an easy shoe in as an escalation in brutal force after jinxs attack
Probably a form of illusion magic, in order for Ryze to keep himself more hidden.
Necrit must be so excited about having so much work and a promise for a bit more lore workpace in the future.
TL/DR What if Renata ends up being an up and coming young woman instead, complete retcon...
My best guess as to how they would solve ryze is just saying that his scene in arcane was Jayce's pov, whether his perception of Ryze is altered by magic or just the situation at the time
Somewhat like an unreliable narrator?
Heimer being only 300 y/o also brings up the question of how did he saw the rune wars (I think he's referring to the rune wars when he's talking about of how humanity can't control magic )
maybe hes only spent 300 years outside bandle city.

Maybe the last Runic War is getting pushed forward in the new canon ?
@@firewolfandrewbRunic War being pushed forward is really fitting, since it will "legitimate" many aspects and plot holes. Like if Runic War happened toooo loong ago, ppl will question "why is Runeterra being stagnant way too long", or "why ppl afraid of magic if it has been thousands years since Runic War", or "why Demacia still being racist towards mages for thousands years".
If Runic War being pushed up to 2-300 years ago, than it fit Jarvan bloodline, for Jarvan the 4th is now current ruler.
ive spent the past few months working on the p/z chapter of my runeterra dnd campaign, spent days coming up with ways to reconcile arcane with the then-canon lore, found solutions to all of the major problems, and then they dropped this on me :’)))) cant wait for season 2 to tear down all my theories god bless
the skarner update is the real zinger honestly; my personal solution for the hextech problem was that camille’s family actually was the first to discover it, but kept it a secret so their family could monopolize the very limited brackern crystals, and then slowly develop a synthetic version- then jayce stumbles into a stray batch of raw crystals and brings hextech into the public eye. with skarner’s lore change i dont see that theory holding up, unless they give us a similarly limited origin for the hextech crystals. wrt ekko’s parents, they were described as always working long hours in the factorywood to support him, so it would make enough sense that he spent a lot of time at benzo’s as a kind of babysitter/apprenticeship situation (i imagine ekko’s parents wouldnt have left their young son unsupervised during their work days). orianna’s situation was a sillier one to resolve but she coulda had two dads 🤷 i imagine their arguments over the ethics of how to cure her sickness would have been grounds for divorce lmao. i could go on but man. season 2 cant get here fast enough
Could the fast travel tower/device in arcane be cannonized as the new "Sun gate" that is mentionned here and there and also in Renata's voicelines ?
The Sun Gate is the bridge
I’m honestly expecting a cameo of Swain. So much raven imagery in the first season and several references to noxus
Long shot on Ekko, but since we know he develops the ability to truly time travel in convergence he could have gone back to when he was a child to try and stop something and inadvertently killed his parents leading to current Arcane Ekko.
Do we know that his parents are dead in Arcane or is that just an assumption?
That would be a mind-fuck that I would honestly not like to see as a writing perspective. Altough I agree, it is probably the only way to make convergence canon
I feel like a lot of these characters being in the background of shots would really liven up the universe while supplying a lot of the fan service various players want to see. Just little hints to and around various characters to get the various one tricks excited every now and then.
The Silco/Renata thing is solved so easily by the fact that Silco is now extremely dead and that this will create a power vacuum in Zaun. One where a new Chem Baron(-ess) might step in and take over in his place.
That would still retcon most of her story since she's been the boss for the majority of her life and is now around her fifties
18:39 SEVIKA SEVIKA SEVIKA PLEASE GOD MAKE SEVIKA RENATA, MY PET THEORY WILL NEVER LEAVE MY HEART. I BELIEVE, I ALWAYS BELIEVED!!
Given that Arcane was in production for like six years, Riot had tons of time to avoid creating all these lore inconsistencies but are only now attempting to address them.
I think they just said FUCK IT and pressed the IGNORE pedal all the way, but hey, I'm not complaining
And if we go the other way around, basing all of PnZ lore on a fucking half-written TV show still in the early stages of development , then we wouldn’t have any PnZ champs OR lore developments in those six years
Remember when the Piltover and Zaun champions were left out of the Sentinels of Light event?
League fans and people that are in the know gets to enjoy and be familiar with the world while new people get introduced and understand it without the "I'm missing some context or I don't get this stuff because I don't know league lore". While the core universe is vast in lore and even something like a hextech crystal has a deep story in it how much should you consider and include before the story becomes a convoluted mess. Afaik, didn't the writers first attempt to pitch into making arcane got rejected? And they also had to go to rewrites? Imagine how much more work and time for Arcane to write and come out if they had to consider and coordinate all of those things in lore and creating a story. Would Arcane even have come out today and be successfull as it is?
about the fast travel tower, given how it work
you could say is economical/faster, for noxus to ship stuff to piltover, then from piltover to other zones, the traveling back taking as long as usual, but this would lower shipping cost and times, and turn piltover into a trading hub
Ekko is the 2nd person in this universe who can actually have different stories. The firts being zilian. I think its likely for ekko to go through time displacements and end up in different futures and past. And could give some butterfly effect to his story. Pretty cool
the whole point of the reset is to get rid of the "multiverse". what you just suggested would delve even more into the multiverse concept. think before you speak.
@@ssilentmedia having 2 characters that can reference the multiverse is a nod to the fact that league was a multiverse, and since they travel time it can happen and would be the easiest way for them to tie up the lose ends such as convergence
about zaun. in arcane there are some shots where its clearly underground (the addict village for example), but one place is gonaa be hard to implement; the dredge. the massive prisonmine where urgot was imprisoned and where the crab we know today came to be. when zaun is (kinda) on the same level as piltover, how will the dredge work, also the same goes for the prieviously know as the "deepest parts of zaun", places where you can find mundo, singed, twitch and later on the void.
i hope in acrane or other media they will explain this. (also i wanna see urgot in the next season in hopes that he might get for once a good skin)
if arcane is cannon doest that mean that every arcane skin is cannon and the base skin isnt?
Nothing says they can't both be. The events of Arcane greatly precede the events of LoL proper.
They can just happen in different point in time

Ekko's threads being spaghetti feels right lol. He's a product of all his timelines
The thing that confuses me most about the announcement is that Arcane being canon from now on forward will either mean that the plotarmor champion have (Jinx, Vi, Caitlyn, Jayce, Viktor, Heimerdinger, Ekko, Singed, Warwick) will increase a thousandfold or that some actual, current, popular champions get killed off?
These towers would be really convenient in the league mmo maybe thats why they put them in
Even though Ekko reconciles with his parents in Convergence, it might still be something that spurs him into helping actual orphans find a family.
And since it isn't explicitly confirmed that he is an orphan in arcane, it is possible to somehow merge them.

It really shouldn't be a question on how Viktor is going to become "Evil" but more on how Viktor is going to embrace further and further self augmentations in his own brand of progress.
I like how despite this being the third video on this topic, you reexplain everything again in the beginning of the video for all of those who have only seen arcane.

Zac is just Batman but empath now, he needs more!
I can see the power vacuum left by Silco as a reason as to how some people would end up abusing experiments with Shimmer while others try to take his place leaving a lot of room for the characters cited at the end to show up.
Nah, what a mess. Arcane should have stayed as a separated universe.
@Necrit The RELAY are called HEXGATES in ARCANE which I think is a variation of Lol SUMMONER RECALL and RYZE's ULT (REALM WARP)
@@gugugugu1300 I hope so. It would be a shame if they were limited
since renata first came out that i've had this theory and i still believe it might be true:
renata is just future sevika, i mean she's a powerful woman who has followed many powerful before her so whether it was her intention to become the "boss" of zaun or she happened to become the one running the city purely by circumstance i just think she will become renata, they even share the prosthetic arm (renata's just being more advanced)
I thought the same. They feel very similair
I loved ekko’s original lore and I like ekko’s appearance in arcane but I don’t know how they’re going to do this but I hope somehow they combine the two
I think there's till a lot of time to explore loose threads
I've been reading the comments here and as much as I'd like to see characters like Jhin, Camille, Renata, while some do have good reasons why they should be in S2. I'm just thinking how hard that would be 😅 since the main characters have to fix the situation that happened after the end of S1. Continuing with the storyline with Warwick and then adding like 10 characters they'd have to properly develop within 8-10 episodes. Hopefully no one gets disappointed just because their favorite character didn't show yet. But realistically there's only so much screen time they can use which is necessary for the old characters and the new story which will be told.
Plus I would rather see NEW people from other nations being introduced (which can actually happen because of what happened at the end of Season 1).

I'd love to see Zeri in Arcane 2. She fits the theme and her powers would make some stunning scenes visually!
have er' Join the Firelights? Sounds good to me
My thoughts on the relay tower was that it was a piltover only commodity like say if noxus bought a shipment of merchandise from piltover part of the appeal to pick piltover over other locations where it could be purchased would be that safe an effective means of transport.
Question! If Arcane is Canon does that mean Imagine Dragon is canon now? Since they are in the series
well ekko is the time boy so you can still make it canon in a way that in the future he manages to travel back and grow up with his parents
Corina Veraza would make zero sense giving the context from LotR to Arcane, giving that she’s Silco 3.0 (or the OG Renata)
That means Mel would most likely die if there’s no mention of her at all in League or Lotr, which is spoiling the 2nd season before it even begins.

In the Ruination book, Ryze is not blue/purple, he is a normal human with strong magic affinity for runes, so maybe he will get a big big update soon TM
that would still mean they have to retcon his story since he is 1000+ years old and is born a bit before ruination

The towers might be a way to make fast travel in the mmo canon
League should not influence Arcane. Arcane should influence League.
And how exactly would it do that?
@@opus_Xby being good
@@mrchungSo you're saying Arcane season 1 wasn't good enough?
Yes
League as a platform isn't good at showing a story anyways
Only so much you can show in a 5v5 arena with no PvE
I mean… we don’t know what Singed does in his spare time. He’s making Warwick after all. I wouldn’t be surprised if he kidnapped other people.
Here's some ideas
•ekkos parents are alive, they just work so much they're never around. Possibly mining?
•singed can be oriannas dad and he just changed his name to singed as a cover up
•shimmer could have been his attempt to save orianna, but ended up killing her and that's why he changed his name and went into hiding.
• vander/Warwick could be his first attempt at bringing back the dead with tech and shimmer
• singed and a tainted Viktor could work together after to try to resurrect orianna using singed's knowledge of bringing the dead back and Viktor's knowledge of technology and the hextech gemstones. After all, they both would have people they're desperate to resurrect.
•zaun could eventually be below piltover due to a massive quake in that huge canyon.
Renata might rise into the power vacuum left by Silco's death and might take over the Shimmer business.
"Teemo has been involved in dealing drugs in the past" our boi hustling
One of the rioters said that janna will appear in season 2
@@JohnnyTravolta MASSIVE W!!! Do you remember who said it??
The bridge could just be linking Piltover to Zuan's elevator, where it still leads downstairs.
Just a tid bit, based on a league skin for Ryze, we know that he didn't always have blue skin. Maybe Jayce saw Ryze before his pigment was changed by using excessive power from the runes.
