Finally a interview with Pusha in it without a Drake question or any other type of old gossip questions!!! Really good interview brother. Respect from Toronto. 💯💯💯💯
Honestly No Malice never stopped after the Clipse, his solo work just never gained mainstream hype like Pusha's. Check out his solo albums Hear Ye Him and Let the Dead Bury the Dead.
NAW No malice never stopped Rappin. He’s just chosen to turn away from God . Instead of talking about God, he’s Back to Promoting Cocaine to his own people and Bragg about Black murder
@@jjbing3I think that malice’s life changes will water down the vibe. Not hating on him but that snap and that vicious shit talk is what made the clipse. That may not be there anymore. My favorite duo ever.
I remember coming home to Baltimore on break from Virginia (Air Force) walking into a local record shop and hearing The Funeral for the first time blasting through the speakers. My mind was BLOWN! The world wasn't ready for the Clipse.
Always love seeing a No Malice n Pusha interview. It’s really refreshing listening to rappers who don’t need to be drunk or high or wildn to get through their craft you know?
Lord Willin' has not been play out it still lives up to this era of Mainstream era.I'd play that offers, Next 2 Clipse Album get stream on TH-cam aswell
This is a fantastic interview. Sidenote- I love that No Malice has that same wide-eyed intensity that Pusha does when talking about something he feels strongly about. His reaction at 37:55 cracked me up.
I’m from va so malice n pusha I grew up on I’m glad they getting there flowers two dope dudes that kept hiphop authentic and real and stayed ten toes down and the guy who interviewed them I liked how he conducted the whole interview great questions and great content god bless all of them peace n love from Danville va

This interview was so amazing. These two guys will always have a place in my heart. Wish I knew how I could’ve gotten tickets to this, I went to the concert at the Kennedy Center. Thanks for this! 💜
Epic interview ! Kudos to the presenter, you could tell he’s a fan too! I thoroughly enjoyed it ! Only thing I’d say is I wish he asked more about “Hell Hath No Fury “ especially in terms of how it was constructed. Pharrell was in his bag on the boards 🙌🏿🙌🏿
757 forever 🎉look our area Hampton Roads will always have a special place in hip hop/rap/ r&b/we have greats that came from here not one hit wonders GREATS!!! GOD BLESS THE 757!! 🙌 🙏 LORD WILLIN!!!!
As a Duo, I will ALWAYS feel like they never get the accolades and respect from the STREET side of the hip hop culture that they deserve. And I mean they weren’t totally embraced by the streets like the Lox or like Dipset. And truthfully I think it’s because these guys just showcased a different level of INTELLECT that wasn’t common for “Street” Rap. And I think the streets didn’t know how to take that part of them. But Their first 2 albums, I still have no words for to this day because they were just that good and undeniably CLASSIC and their “I Got It 4 Cheap” Mixtapes should’ve crowned them as the GREATEST “Street Rap” Duo of ALL time. It’s CRIMINAL that they weren’t received by the streets how they should’ve been. 🤴🏾🔥🤴🏾🔥
It's funny watching these two, Pusha's obviously the bigger name these days, but here he seems like that type of younger brother who follows his older brother wherever he goes
Born in 83' and grew up in the 90's as a young teen...The Golden Decades where you literally could have/get anything you wanted if you just put your mind to it and built it. Always listened to the Clipse for motivation in Life and I'm still pushin' The Clipse out my windows till this very day. Your looking and listening to Hip-Hop Legends.
They are better together; music and interviews. They truly balance one another. We got it 4 cheap volume 2 in my opinion is the best mixtape I’ve heard.
22:34 that laugh’s telling me there was so much industry bs and politics at the time they’re not gonna let on 😂😂 but yeah clipse and pusha are legends!!
That’s not true It’s plenty of Jobs in the 757 which was the 804 area code. It’s a total of 11 shipyards that I know of. The projects in Norfolk all has elementary schools and community centers in them except Moton Park. Back in the 70’s in NYC all the housing projects had community centers and that’s how it was in Norfolk before a few got demolition/tore down. I come from a small city where none of that is around where it’s nothing to do but Trap. We would have love to walk our kids to the elementary school in our projects and basketball courts on top that. It’s plenty to do in Virginia. You crazy to think it’s nothing to do but cook.
I expected the difference in music from Pherell, the order I received his artist was NORE, Kelis, the Clipes and I miss the whole 90's era but especially the decades transition! New Album please!!!!
I had to pause it at 44:44 after they answered the question about Andre I applaud the clips and salute them I want to hear more of my Legends say the same thing.. to hear Andre say that shows me the type of individual he is and or people that he's around..
I used to think they were closer in age but a vlad interview discussed that Pusha tried to be Malice when he went to the military. Drake mentioned it in the diss.
I use to listen to The Clipse when I was 63, I am now 17. this will forever be a classic.

The loss of the clipse is the saddest thing ever in hip hop. Number 2 is the loss of the re up gang. Ab liva was a beast.
