I was told they can’t even place my order until April 13th. After April 13th I have to wait 6-8 weeks for it to get delivered. I only had to put $1000 down, which goes towards my down payment. It is officially in your name when you reserve it and get approved if financing. Im literally gonna be the one of the only ones if not the only one with one of these on the road in central Florida 😍😍😍 even the GM at Harley said none of them have seen one in person yet. I am so excited I can’t even sleep. I am 24 years old and I can tell you I have never been this excited in my life. Ever. So excited lol MSRP was $22,300 for gunship grey color. Vivid black is $400 cheaper. But it came out to around $24,600 after freight charges, dealer fees, taxes, etc. Good luck fellas 🤙

I ordered mine the moment the announcement ended. I was already 2nd in line at my dealer by that point. They informed me that the supply was extremely limited and that it was on the dealerships to get the pre-orders in and had to have confirmed buyers to be able to submit an order at all. The number they gave me was 300 that were available nationwide at that time (could be complete bullshit). That said, I just got the call today that they were able to successfully order mine and I will have it the moment it drops in April.
That confirms everything I’ve been told as well. Thank you for sharing your experience. I’m working info about a second batch release now and will update IF it pans out.
I actually anticipated this issue. I called my local dealership to put a deposit down before the 1/26 live stream ended. What’s funny, I was going to call him to verify your video, but he called me first to inform me, and let me know that I secured their first one.
Bang on! Buy a low mile Sport Glide. Gustafson makes a 15” dark tint vented windshield with lowers. Looks & works great. Stage 3 (4.155 bore, 11-1) 119ci 9250096, but swap in Star Racing 30/30 cam, add SE 64mm Throttle Body & intake 27200040, SE clutch & spring kit 37000287, SE Ventilator extreme AC 29400397, SE High Flow Exhaust 64900838. All SE stuff with a good connection can be bought at a 20% discount making it very competitively priced. Aftermarket Tuner such as Powevision. 120+HP 130+TQ well mannered and reliable. The 4.310 bore jugs overheat & warp easily in stop lights traffic. Want improved available lean angle & geometry? Add used taller rear spring from a Heritage or Bung King shock extension. Maybe Thrashing T bar, and saddle of choice. Maybe Bung King crash bar. Since you have 11-1 pistons you can also go Star 3/4 cam but you would need injectors & big valve ported heads to take full advantage of it. SE 5.5 injectors 27400040, 140+HP 140+TQ.
I had order first week in Feb from my dealer - they are getting three in April - one is mine coming. I have a deposit on it and I a firm price on the bike. With the cost of the bike, shipping and tax I'm into mine for 25K which given the bike I don't think I got ripped.
We just started making them this past week, but lots of supply issues for all models. From motors to saddlebags to small parts. Even factory workers have to wait just like everyone else. Harley had to cut back orders and hours because we can't get parts.
H-D played the same game in the 70's. Dealerships had 6-8 bikes on showroom room. That was from Sportster up through Electra Glide. It was a take it or leave it and pay our markup. I'm going to wait and purchase "used". Let someone else eat markup, destination charges and depreciation.
This is the logic that I have applied to all my motor vehicle purchases with one exception, my sportster. Why? Fear of the unknown and the full equity trade in opportunity. Now with the additional mark up on new models the equity value is a facade, it’s false, it’s not real. I’m just one person but if enough others stand up with me and say, no I won’t let you charge me more than what is the advertised price of the vehicle then maybe the dealers who mark up vehicles will change their approach.
Just the bags and adapters are 3500 bucks. The fairing does not work with the Low Rider S. Don’t even consider an S for a second if the ST is what you want. You will throw away 5 grand more than the cost of the ST EASILY! Take it from the owner of a 2020 Sport Glide that priced out a 2021 Low Rider S built out similar to a sport glide with an FXRT fairing on it.
At bike week I met with an HD engineer and the front suspension has been dialed in for the weight of the fairing on the ST, otherwise nothing is preventing me from ordering the fairing as a part and retrofitting it. But yeah the way pricing is now I might as well wait for an ST
I'm in Canada and put a deposit on the FXLRS-T. They said i was second in line. Sold my FLS privately so now I'm bikeless for the first time in 15 yrs😪. They assured me that I'd receive the new bike this spring.....so we'll see. Total price quote was $29k CAD all-in.
Thank you sharing your situation. I hope all goes well for you. There are murmurs that production is on a freeze due to lack of parts and the motor company will be doing all it can to achieve 400 units.

Not sure about the 'domestic only' portion.. Im in Aus, have ordered one, have had it confirmed via phone call via HD Corporate (bypassing the dealer) should have a VIN assigned and actual ETA soon (not just the ballpark of late April, May). MSRP price too (but theres diff laws in Australia about that.. you cant just add on whatever markup you want like what seems to be happening in America)

Dealers charging 5, 000 over MRSP don’t deserve anyone’s business. I bought an 03 Anniversary Vrod new back in 03. I bought it for MSRP while others paid 10 grand MSRP. Needless to say that dealer no longer exists….. I own a 2020 Sport Glide with a stage 2 and love it! Already looking for a fairing I bought it new and there are some nice options….. Ride hard or stay home 😎
Nice ride! The sport glide has my attention for sure. Dealers are out of control at the moment, I strive for fair transactions, currently there’s a huge imbalance in favor of the HD dealer. Fortunately there are other options. Ride safe, ride often!
So I just went down to the dealership to look into this bike and they were saying they sold the 300 that they were going to build with the 117 in 11 min. it's funny how there was no mention of this in their press release... really uncool that harley would do this.

@@honda200twinstar3 as I mentioned in my video, Florida has consumer protection laws in place that covers this situation if it came down to that. This also why my local dealer won’t accept a deposit because and I quote “it’s meaningless”.
In the dealership I went to, talking to the manager I got a black st coming in April with my name on it with no deposit and many people behind me in line wanting one as well 😂
Fast forward a week and I have my name at two dealerships as well. No deposit, they also have other names in front and behind mine. My suspicion is come payment time the dealer will present their take it or leave or offer and if I leave it the next person gets the opportunity. I hope your experience is pleasant. Good luck!
I remember during the sportster s reveal the moco said they had everything figured out and you wouldn’t see shortages from them due to manufacturing locations and practices. Lol
Many dealers still have new 2021 Sport Glides in stock. Trade your Sporty in start modifying your SG to your liking. BTW a 107 with a stage two is real close in power & torque to a stock 117. Also the jacked up bags on the ST look stupid.
I went to a couple diff. dealers and found 1 that finally took deposit that wasn't stacked price of 29k, except i didnt make it in the top 300. the 300, which is actually bumped up to 500 now, are sold bike orders before the initial 1 per dealer they usually do, they capped it as a caution to not oversell this initial supply. It's nice they're doing this first, which is new for them. Then each dealer will get 1, then dealers can put in additional orders. I didnt make the initial pre-order/sold bike order but put deposit down for the first order for the later additional orders. BUT one of the pre-orders cancelled so i'm bumped up to first 500!! i would keep an eye open, people will back out of the original deposits. And each dealer will get at least 1 FXLRST after the pre-orders.

If you like the 883 you would have really liked the 2016-2020 Roadster. Ive been watching the LRST as well. I have had EVO and M8 bikes, they both have their merits.
Best way to go is to wait man, I was looking at a Street Bob with 250 miles on it from 2020. Like it's 7ci smaller and that's IT, no reason not to wait unless the limited warranty is super important which you could probably buy with the savings

I had the same Sportster as you and traded in last year on a Street Bob. Really like it. Love the 114. You know what you want but I would recommend at least trying to ride a Street Bob before you decide. You might like it and save yourself some $s. Best wishes in your search.

@@KennyQuestShow I agree. The Street Bob is a great step up from the Sportster and is exactly the way I went. I now have a 20 Bob in black. I have Leather Pro bags I can easily slap on and off and 2 Memphis Shades windscreens dark and clear that I can remove and swap out. You will pay over $25,000 all told for that LRst. They will make you a great deal on the Street Bob but I still don't like that Harley surcharge.
@@KennyQuestShow no mark up. I pay msrp I did a lot upgrade including stage 2. I picked TBR gen2 exhaust and the cam. Saddle man seat. And a lot more part All upgrade coat me other $7grand Sound system back order. But stage 2 should be finished in 2 week only thing I don’t like is I have to stick with screaming eagle tuner until warranty expires. Then I have to bring it back for some back order parts. By that time engine should already broken in.

Originally this bike the owner of dealership she order this bike in gunship gray for herself but she changed her minds at last minute my friend who work there call me up I bought the bike before go on showroom floor. I still have deposit at District Harley-Davidson but they still don’t have ST yet. I also been the first one in line. But they told me it will be black. I might go pick that one up too. With my EVO Softail project wrapping up I will have it for bike week and the upcoming Forgotten Angels campout. So there’s no rush other than extracting the full equity out of my sporty per my dealers “promise” but due to the excessive markup on top of MSRP, whatever equity I thought id have to contribute was an illusion. So I agree, wait or just hold onto the Snakester..
My local Harley dealer told me he is getting 8 of the ST models only because 8 people put down a $3500.00 deposit. So if only 300 are being shipped or the now 200 more you mentioned a few days ago, not sure how all this is going to work?
That’s the BIG question. Are dealers overselling the supply or is there more supply that will be available than what has been disclosed. I have a Australian viewer saying he put a deposit down and expects to receive an ST in April, which I was informed that the ST model is not available outside of the U.S. very confusing.
@@ericjames7680 it does, it is being marketed world wide. The issue is availability and when fulfillment will happen after the first 300 known and confirmed units are shipped.

Yuup. Jan. 1st., they would take $1k deposit .Then you wait till August for your bike. I had to do that for my 2001 Ultra. They also can’t guarantee color choice.
If what you have is affordable I would say keep it enjoy it you will like it even more when it’s paid for outright. I was going to trade in my 2016 SG for a 2022 RG until I realized I only owed $2500. I pulled out of the deal kept the SG paid off the remainder and have been dumping money into mods. Almost where I want it to be the next purchase is going to be building a sportster scrambler with my two young sons.

If the dealer doesn’t add the mark up come deal closing time, they added $1k to my snake venom last year since it was a “special color way” they started at $2k. I didn’t care as much because I planned to trade up. Now I care more, lol.
I’m first on the list for my local dealer. Shoot, I might just sell it as soon as get it lol the triple tree and forks are different on the ST. That being said, I would be willing to bet there will be an aftermarket solution.
@@KennyQuestShow I think it has to do with egress of the riser. The T model has a pull back riser vs a straight riser on the S and in the event of a collision, the rider needs to be able to clear the front bars as per safety standard…..that’s why you will never see tall tbars or a taller pullback riser in the P&A catalog. The gauge connectors should be the same so in theory, you could actually purchase 2020 gauges and bar mount them on a 2022. With the new triple tree, the big outstanding question is will street bob risers be a direct bolt on to the T model or will there need to be a redesign? I haven’t seen an answer to that yet.
@@KennyQuestShow also, in terms of availability, new models are build to order and most carry over models are build to stock. The Pan America and Sportster S are still build to order and I expect the ST to follow a similar model. I would expect the second production release to be in July that should be around 500 bikes. I’m guessing they’re planning on selling around 1500 STs this year to keep penned up demand for the 2023 model year as well as not completely cannibalize low rider s sales for 2022.
The first day that they released the low rider ST I went to a district Harley dealer and was the first to preorder in gunship grey. I put my cash down and ordered a speaker system and drop guard right away because I thought there would be a shortage. At this moment I feel like I was lucky but again, I didn’t even know the price that they would charge me for the bike. I hope they don’t jack up the price and try to make me drop out.
Thank you for sharing your story! I was you last week, but my dealer wouldn’t except a deposit nor give me a out the door cash price. I’ve learned In life that when information is omitted, guarded or withheld it’s usually a sign of unfavorable terms or conditions or at the very least some form of discomfort. I hope all goes well with your transaction but remember you are in control, you decide if the price they are asking is acceptable and there’s no risk to protect yourself from being taken advantage of, so negotiate until you feel comfortable or just walk away when the situation becomes unbearable. That’s horrible they are doing first come first served! In my town they are doing 500 down and that puts you on the list to get one when they arrive in store. But Florida is a good ways away from me😅 happy hunting! Been going back n forth trying to decide if I should go with the S or ST almost was convincing myself I should just go with the S but then again the ST comes with a nice faring and bags two things I’d have to get for the S so even though the ST is a bit more I think it’s better in the long run for when you upgrade and it looks freaking amazing so why not! Kenny don't do it. Dealers are not your friend. Get your your $12,000.00 out of your sportster on a new bike. One close to what you need and want (Low Rider S ). Do not add more then a couple hundred into it. That's the key. Then when the market is flooded with new bikes, and it will be, then upgrade again. Save your money and enjoy the upgrade to the Low Rider S. Screw the bike and car dealers ripping off the middle and lower class buyers. Motorcycles are a luxury and not a necessity. Harley dealers will be hurting in a year , two at the longest because of the economy will be crashing. Electric will making a a gas motorcycle like a $54,000.00 CVO look like a bad investment. HD is building many different styles of bikes now. They didn’t add more factories so that would mean they will be building less units of each model. Less bikes, higher prices, less used inventory floating around, even higher prices. Remember when HD had years long waiting lists? Remember when prices were insanely high and the only people buying HD were Dentists and Chiropractors? We are moving back into that era.
Makes sense, they opened that New plant for a reason, more demand, not that it’s closed and the demand remains something has to give. HD is enjoying unprecedented gross margin gains the past several quarters.
Interesting about the first 300… rumor is each dealer is getting one, then there is confirmations out there that they got the order in for the first 300… so, does each dealer get one AND if your dealer got in on time you will get one? This would make 600 to be shipped in April?
So far I’ve only been able to confirm the first 300. The rumor of an additional quantity of 200 or 300 being released within 30 days of the initial release has not been verified through any official HD channel at this time but I am working my leads and will update viewers if/when that information is verified by an official source(s). @@thechappie and I heard from several sources, including Mr.T Jr featured in my video that each dealer will receive one T model. If a dealer owns/operates 4 locations they still get one T model.

I would try Gator Harley They are really fair and easy to deal with. I don't know their situation on the Lowrider ST but they're worth checking our. Warhorse in Ocala is corporate and a complete rip off.

No deposit because the markup will be 5-10k and they will try to justify it by low supply. There are more than 300 dealers in the USA more like 700 or better.
In 2020 there were 698 dealerships. In 2021 a good number closed and or consolidated. In my research I couldn’t find up to date numbers. The sales person in this episode, Mr. T Jr. from Bert’s Barracuda in Clearwater, Florida cited 300. This claim was not substantiated. Many across social media platforms have used the 300 number as the amount of ST’s that will be released in April.

Sounds like Harley is trying to create an artificial demand to jack up the price, keep what you got or go with the sport glide I am sorry to see that model go.
The sport glide was my favorite a year ago, I chose the 883 and had piece of mind that I could trade up to it, but then it was discontinued so the ST model is it’s replacement so here we are.
I don't understand why they don't just release them, without the cruise control, but gives vouchers to the customers that pay for the parts and labor, when they become available. The ones that want to wait for it to come on it can wait, still. I guess that just makes too much sense.

If you think a H.D. dealer is actually going to give you what you paid for your Sportster, you're in for a big surprise. They'll simply jack up the price of the new bike you're buying. As for the Low Rider ST, expect to pay 5 to 7K over MSRP. That was the norm from 1995 to 2003 or 2004.

U guys are killing me with the mark ups. My dealer there is NO mark up. I just got quoted 24.5k out the door, thats freight, tax, title, license, and set up out the door at a 21.9k msrp 5 days ago and im guaranteed the bike 1st week of April.

In California there’s a 22 Lowrider S in gunship gray and they have a $5500 mark up on it just imagine when the ST comes out it’s gonna be over $30,000 it’s fucking crazy and it’s bullshit but I get it they’re gonna do that they don’t wanna take your deposit because they’re gonna jack up all those bikes five grand over that’s basically what the manager said in a nutshell when he said first come first serve

@@fvgc454ss supply chain for most industries across the board have been disrupted, however the motor company has not disclosed any reason exposing why the T model is limited to only 300 units and if any additional quantities of the bike will be available.
@@ChiefQ83 some states have consumer protection laws in place that provide the ability to get monies back if you have not taken possession of the goods. Florida is one of those states.
To begin with, I would have never spent 12,000 for an 883. I also think that the price of the new ST will hold for 3 years unless some idiot dumps a bunch of money on it trying to improve something that needs to be left alone. Crap it up with accessories and you’re going to lose money. I want my used bike in stock condition.

I ordered mine the moment the announcement ended. I was already 2nd in line at my dealer by that point. They informed me that the supply was extremely limited and that it was on the dealerships to get the pre-orders in and had to have confirmed buyers to be able to submit an order at all. The number they gave me was 300 that were available nationwide at that time (could be complete bullshit). That said, I just got the call today that they were able to successfully order mine and I will have it the moment it drops in April.
That confirms everything I’ve been told as well. Thank you for sharing your experience. I’m working info about a second batch release now and will update IF it pans out.

I had order first week in Feb from my dealer - they are getting three in April - one is mine coming. I have a deposit on it and I a firm price on the bike. With the cost of the bike, shipping and tax I'm into mine for 25K which given the bike I don't think I got ripped.

We just started making them this past week, but lots of supply issues for all models. From motors to saddlebags to small parts. Even factory workers have to wait just like everyone else. Harley had to cut back orders and hours because we can't get parts.

H-D played the same game in the 70's. Dealerships had 6-8 bikes on showroom room. That was from Sportster up through Electra Glide. It was a take it or leave it and pay our markup. I'm going to wait and purchase "used". Let someone else eat markup, destination charges and depreciation.
This is the logic that I have applied to all my motor vehicle purchases with one exception, my sportster. Why? Fear of the unknown and the full equity trade in opportunity. Now with the additional mark up on new models the equity value is a facade, it’s false, it’s not real. I’m just one person but if enough others stand up with me and say, no I won’t let you charge me more than what is the advertised price of the vehicle then maybe the dealers who mark up vehicles will change their approach.

Just the bags and adapters are 3500 bucks. The fairing does not work with the Low Rider S. Don’t even consider an S for a second if the ST is what you want. You will throw away 5 grand more than the cost of the ST EASILY! Take it from the owner of a 2020 Sport Glide that priced out a 2021 Low Rider S built out similar to a sport glide with an FXRT fairing on it.
At bike week I met with an HD engineer and the front suspension has been dialed in for the weight of the fairing on the ST, otherwise nothing is preventing me from ordering the fairing as a part and retrofitting it. But yeah the way pricing is now I might as well wait for an ST
I'm in Canada and put a deposit on the FXLRS-T. They said i was second in line. Sold my FLS privately so now I'm bikeless for the first time in 15 yrs😪. They assured me that I'd receive the new bike this spring.....so we'll see. Total price quote was $29k CAD all-in.

Im in Aus, have ordered one, have had it confirmed via phone call via HD Corporate (bypassing the dealer) should have a VIN assigned and actual ETA soon (not just the ballpark of late April, May). Dealers charging 5, 000 over MRSP don’t deserve anyone’s business. I bought an 03 Anniversary Vrod new back in 03. I bought it for MSRP while others paid 10 grand MSRP. Needless to say that dealer no longer exists….. I own a 2020 Sport Glide with a stage 2 and love it! Already looking for a fairing I bought it new and there are some nice options….. Nice ride! The sport glide has my attention for sure. Dealers are out of control at the moment, I strive for fair transactions, currently there’s a huge imbalance in favor of the HD dealer. Fortunately there are other options. Ride safe, ride often!
So I just went down to the dealership to look into this bike and they were saying they sold the 300 that they were going to build with the 117 in 11 min. it's funny how there was no mention of this in their press release... really uncool that harley would do this.
Really!!! All sold out. With those dealers accepting deposits going 3 to 4 deep to one bike the motor company is gonna have a PR mess to clean up.

In the dealership I went to, talking to the manager I got a black st coming in April with my name on it with no deposit and many people behind me in line wanting one as well 😂
Fast forward a week and I have my name at two dealerships as well. No deposit, they also have other names in front and behind mine. My suspicion is come payment time the dealer will present their take it or leave or offer and if I leave it the next person gets the opportunity. I hope your experience is pleasant. Good luck!
I remember during the sportster s reveal the moco said they had everything figured out and you wouldn’t see shortages from them due to manufacturing locations and practices. Lol

Many dealers still have new 2021 Sport Glides in stock. Trade your Sporty in start modifying your SG to your liking. BTW a 107 with a stage two is real close in power & torque to a stock 117. Also the jacked up bags on the ST look stupid.

I went to a couple diff. dealers and found 1 that finally took deposit that wasn't stacked price of 29k, except i didnt make it in the top 300. the 300, which is actually bumped up to 500 now, are sold bike orders before the initial 1 per dealer they usually do, they capped it as a caution to not oversell this initial supply. It's nice they're doing this first, which is new for them. Then each dealer will get 1, then dealers can put in additional orders. I didnt make the initial pre-order/sold bike order but put deposit down for the first order for the later additional orders. BUT one of the pre-orders cancelled so i'm bumped up to first 500!! i would keep an eye open, people will back out of the original deposits. And each dealer will get at least 1 FXLRST after the pre-orders.

If you like the 883 you would have really liked the 2016-2020 Roadster. Ive been watching the LRST as well. I have had EVO and M8 bikes, they both have their merits.

Best way to go is to wait man, I was looking at a Street Bob with 250 miles on it from 2020. Like it's 7ci smaller and that's IT, no reason not to wait unless the limited warranty is super important which you could probably buy with the savings

I had the same Sportster as you and traded in last year on a Street Bob. Really like it. Love the 114. You know what you want but I would recommend at least trying to ride a Street Bob before you decide. You might like it and save yourself some $s. Best wishes in your search.

I have Leather Pro bags I can easily slap on and off and 2 Memphis Shades windscreens dark and clear that I can remove and swap out. You will pay over $25,000 all told for that LRst. They will make you a great deal on the Street Bob but I still don't like that Harley surcharge.

@@KennyQuestShow no mark up. I pay msrp I did a lot upgrade including stage 2. I picked TBR gen2 exhaust and the cam. Saddle man seat. And a lot more part All upgrade coat me other $7grand Sound system back order. But stage 2 should be finished in 2 week only thing I don’t like is I have to stick with screaming eagle tuner until warranty expires. Then I have to bring it back for some back order parts. By that time engine should already broken in.
I forgot to tell you I end up pay $24000 before tax in gunship gray.

With my EVO Softail project wrapping up I will have it for bike week and the upcoming Forgotten Angels campout. So there’s no rush other than extracting the full equity out of my sporty per my dealers “promise” but due to the excessive markup on top of MSRP, whatever equity I thought id have to contribute was an illusion. So I agree, wait or just hold onto the Snakester..
My local Harley dealer told me he is getting 8 of the ST models only because 8 people put down a $3500.00 deposit. So if only 300 are being shipped or the now 200 more you mentioned a few days ago, not sure how all this is going to work?
That’s the BIG question. Are dealers overselling the supply or is there more supply that will be available than what has been disclosed. I have a Australian viewer saying he put a deposit down and expects to receive an ST in April, which I was informed that the ST model is not available outside of the U.S. very confusing.

If what you have is affordable I would say keep it enjoy it you will like it even more when it’s paid for outright. I was going to trade in my 2016 SG for a 2022 RG until I realized I only owed $2500. I pulled out of the deal kept the SG paid off the remainder and have been dumping money into mods. Almost where I want it to be the next purchase is going to be building a sportster scrambler with my two young sons.

First come first served is better than the $5K markup that some dealers are charging.
If the dealer doesn’t add the mark up come deal closing time, they added $1k to my snake venom last year since it was a “special color way” they started at $2k. I didn’t care as much because I planned to trade up. Now I care more, lol.
I’m first on the list for my local dealer. Shoot, I might just sell it as soon as get it lol the triple tree and forks are different on the ST. That being said, I would be willing to bet there will be an aftermarket solution.
No one has really explained why the T model gauge is different than the regular S model. Best of luck with your order!
@@KennyQuestShow I think it has to do with egress of the riser. The T model has a pull back riser vs a straight riser on the S and in the event of a collision, the rider needs to be able to clear the front bars as per safety standard…..that’s why you will never see tall tbars or a taller pullback riser in the P&A catalog.
The gauge connectors should be the same so in theory, you could actually purchase 2020 gauges and bar mount them on a 2022. With the new triple tree, the big outstanding question is will street bob risers be a direct bolt on to the T model or will there need to be a redesign? I haven’t seen an answer to that yet.
@@KennyQuestShow also, in terms of availability, new models are build to order and most carry over models are build to stock. The Pan America and Sportster S are still build to order and I expect the ST to follow a similar model. I would expect the second production release to be in July that should be around 500 bikes. I’m guessing they’re planning on selling around 1500 STs this year to keep penned up demand for the 2023 model year as well as not completely cannibalize low rider s sales for 2022.

The first day that they released the low rider ST I went to a district Harley dealer and was the first to preorder in gunship grey. I put my cash down and ordered a speaker system and drop guard right away because I thought there would be a shortage. At this moment I feel like I was lucky but again, I didn’t even know the price that they would charge me for the bike. I hope they don’t jack up the price and try to make me drop out.

I’ve learned In life that when information is omitted, guarded or withheld it’s usually a sign of unfavorable terms or conditions or at the very least some form of discomfort. I hope all goes well with your transaction but remember you are in control, you decide if the price they are asking is acceptable and there’s no risk to protect yourself from being taken advantage of, so negotiate until you feel comfortable or just walk away when the situation becomes unbearable. Been going back n forth trying to decide if I should go with the S or ST almost was convincing myself I should just go with the S but then again the ST comes with a nice faring and bags two things I’d have to get for the S so even though the ST is a bit more I think it’s better in the long run for when you upgrade and it looks freaking amazing so why not! Kenny don't do it. Dealers are not your friend. Get your your $12,000.00 out of your sportster on a new bike. One close to what you need and want (Low Rider S ). Do not add more then a couple hundred into it. That's the key. Then when the market is flooded with new bikes, and it will be, then upgrade again. Save your money and enjoy the upgrade to the Low Rider S. Screw the bike and car dealers ripping off the middle and lower class buyers. Motorcycles are a luxury and not a necessity. Harley dealers will be hurting in a year , two at the longest because of the economy will be crashing. Electric will making a a gas motorcycle like a $54,000.00 CVO look like a bad investment. HD is building many different styles of bikes now. They didn’t add more factories so that would mean they will be building less units of each model. Less bikes, higher prices, less used inventory floating around, even higher prices. Remember when HD had years long waiting lists? Remember when prices were insanely high and the only people buying HD were Dentists and Chiropractors? We are moving back into that era.
Makes sense, they opened that New plant for a reason, more demand, not that it’s closed and the demand remains something has to give. HD is enjoying unprecedented gross margin gains the past several quarters.
Interesting about the first 300… rumor is each dealer is getting one, then there is confirmations out there that they got the order in for the first 300… so, does each dealer get one AND if your dealer got in on time you will get one? This would make 600 to be shipped in April?
So far I’ve only been able to confirm the first 300. The rumor of an additional quantity of 200 or 300 being released within 30 days of the initial release has not been verified through any official HD channel at this time but I am working my leads and will update viewers if/when that information is verified by an official source(s). @@thechappie and I heard from several sources, including Mr.T Jr featured in my video that each dealer will receive one T model. If a dealer owns/operates 4 locations they still get one T model.

No deposit because the markup will be 5-10k and they will try to justify it by low supply. There are more than 300 dealers in the USA more like 700 or better.
In 2020 there were 698 dealerships. In 2021 a good number closed and or consolidated. In my research I couldn’t find up to date numbers. The sales person in this episode, Mr. T Jr. from Bert’s Barracuda in Clearwater, Florida cited 300. This claim was not substantiated. Many across social media platforms have used the 300 number as the amount of ST’s that will be released in April.

Sounds like Harley is trying to create an artificial demand to jack up the price, keep what you got or go with the sport glide I am sorry to see that model go.
The sport glide was my favorite a year ago, I chose the 883 and had piece of mind that I could trade up to it, but then it was discontinued so the ST model is it’s replacement so here we are.
I don't understand why they don't just release them, without the cruise control, but gives vouchers to the customers that pay for the parts and labor, when they become available. The ones that want to wait for it to come on it can wait, still.

If you think a H.D. dealer is actually going to give you what you paid for your Sportster, you're in for a big surprise. They'll simply jack up the price of the new bike you're buying. As for the Low Rider ST, expect to pay 5 to 7K over MSRP. That was the norm from 1995 to 2003 or 2004.
I’m well aware of the games they play and I will walk away if they start playing the 4 square shell game to hide the money.
I had that deal too and when I went in to use it on a trade they said the program was pulled the month before

I’m in North Jersey near NY state border, and the roads in NY up state are some of the best for Bikes. So when I hear Twisties in Fla I have to laugh , however yo do beat us with winter weather, but even Summer in Florida sucks, WAYYY TOO HOT 🥵

U guys are killing me with the mark ups. My dealer there is NO mark up. I just got quoted 24.5k out the door, thats freight, tax, title, license, and set up out the door at a 21.9k msrp 5 days ago and im guaranteed the bike 1st week of April.

In California there’s a 22 Lowrider S in gunship gray and they have a $5500 mark up on it just imagine when the ST comes out it’s gonna be over $30,000 it’s fucking crazy and it’s bullshit but I get it they’re gonna do that they don’t wanna take your deposit because they’re gonna jack up all those bikes five grand over that’s basically what the manager said in a nutshell when he said first come first serve

Thats sounds like the Dealers are gonna sell those bikes way over MSRP...So it will be a biding war for those 300 bikes...
Also...your idea of a Sport Glide trick out is a good one...May i suggest since you want a LRS...why not get a like new used low mile 2020 or 2021...Cam it...Memphis Shades Fairing...Leatherpro bags...2 into 1 pipe...I bet you could do all of that no more than 22K...LRST MSRP....

This is the dumbest shit ever!!! I went through this same experience with my local dealer! Was told to put up a $5,000 deposit and I could wait until April. This is so stupid! Harley makes a bike that people want and crave, and they shit the bed! They could be selling thousands of these this year and make a killing! Shaking My Head, HD! 🤦♂️🤷♂️

@@fvgc454ss supply chain for most industries across the board have been disrupted, however the motor company has not disclosed any reason exposing why the T model is limited to only 300 units and if any additional quantities of the bike will be available.
Basically everything they build is wanted by the people.

To begin with, I would have never spent 12,000 for an 883. I also think that the price of the new ST will hold for 3 years unless some idiot dumps a bunch of money on it trying to improve something that needs to be left alone. Crap it up with accessories and you’re going to lose money. I want my used bike in stock condition.

They basically are building to order. It’s tighter than those revival series bikes, they had 1500 of those. I have to assume it’s due to the chip shortage or just bad anticipation on sell through.
