    Brian, after years of bad habits, how does one break them and execute good stroke fundamentals, and stop trying to steer the cue ball? Viewers of this channel may never know.

    • @FXBilliards

      We all have bad habits. I’ve got my own as well. Take time in every practice session to focus on fixing that one thing and shooting as many racks as you can focusing on that one thing.

    "Commit to the shot!" That cannot be overstated. When I am struggling, I concentrate on stroke and commit to the shot. That usually does the trick to turn my game around. Thanks Bryan

    I have a question about position play for you. If I play a descent table normal green felt clean balls good rails I can pretty much put the que ball where I want. But now switching to a super fast slick table or a crappy table with calky balls I start having more trouble. My current strategy is to play more basic game with more safety. Is this correct or is there a better way to adjust to playing conditions? Thanks for your time.

      Try to workout on whatever you will play on most. That’s really the best you can do.

    great video, but I have a request- stretching and shooting for us shorter players. note* I do not know how tall you are. No Pool Instructional video channel that i know of has done a video on the topic and it is the weakest part of my game.

    • @FXBilliards

      I will try to put something together for you, but the reality is you should be using the mechanical bridge. You should not have to stretch for any Shot in Pool.

    • @lemonite1

      @@FXBilliards true absolutely, but in a perfect world with perfect pool players...I once saw this player Jose Parica, shorter than me (and I'm short), hated to use the mechanical bridge, stretch an fire shots in with ease. Another player I knew Ginky, RiP, could really stretch and shoot...stretching and shooting, using the mechanical bridge, weakest part of my game.

    • @lemonite1

      @@FXBilliards thank you, i ask you cuz your instructional videos are great. Also, I once knew this player Jose Parica, shorter than me, and I'm shot, who despised the mechanical bridge. That guy could stretch and fire balls in with ease. And forget about shooting left handed. That guy would spot very good A players the 6, playing lefty. Another player, Ginky (R.i.P) could reeeeeeally stretch and shoot. how do they do that?
