This event, among other things, shows difference between Scarlet and Dorothy (who always clashed b ecause of their differences). Doro is stuck in a past, her inability to move forward and let go is what ruins her. Scarlet, on the other hand, uses past events as experience to face the future. She might want to have thing the way they were back then, but accepted that it’s impossible.
oh right, EN dub stuck with temp VO thanks to that strike, they're not bad, certainly a bit mixed, not to mention I'm to used to Ratana's Scarlet, I'll be eager to relisten when it's back.
Roller coaster of emotions here. From luna blue screening at noise being assertive to bawling her eyes out. Surprise yess appearance at the end to cap it all off, lol
What a time to be a Scarlet main! We get a costume after TWO years and her event becomes fully voiced and added to the archives. I’m a slight bit bummed out we never got the instrumental version of the event theme that played during Black Shadow’s banner. Scarlet’s backup voice performance was great, really nailed the cadence and essence of Ratana! In some way has more explosive emotion as well. Though the pitch a tiny bit higher and comes off a as cuter/younger feeling. It feels like Brianna Knickerbocker who voices Naga. A bit of Exia and Mana and in there too. Of course I still prefer Ratana’s original voice as I’ve grown accustomed to it. Rose also sounds a lot like someone I can’t put my finger on it. Maybe Emma, Crow, or Maxwell? I’ve definitely heard that voice in some story in this game. One thing I found very interesting about Rose in terms of her design is that she holds her sword backwards. Katanas are supposed to curve inward towards the wielder, but her model, and in the New Year New Sword PV (which has amazing visuals of Scarlet and her sister) it curves outwards.
The fact that the sword was restored using Rose's core opens up the possibility for scifi shenanigans to have Rose comeback in as unit in present day. IIRC the blacksmith that fixed the sword was Snow White during Red Ash 🤔
A lot of changes occurred from release till now. You will see some gaps in conversations and unit placements. This is due to a cosplayer inspiring the design for the melee squad. Now ShiftUp did it without 'permission'. So they just outright deleted many squad members NPCs. Now I get that cosplayers need some credit. But the design is simple and done like MGS Revengance. So imo the cosplayer complaints hold no ground. It wasn't original. RinkoAoi is a channel that does entire playthroughs at launch without commissary commentary. It is a good place to look at the original even if you want to see the differences.
I have yet to do Miracle Snow but my community really really want to see me experience it! Hopefully I can play it soon! But yes this event tore me apart. Gosh so beautiful but painful 😭
The one that did me in was Nya Nya Paradise. I full-on bawled for a full minute straight from that Another one was one particular scene in Last Kingdom. If you know, you know.
I absolutely love this event, but I feel like they wanted to make it bigger, but had to scrap the idea and put out a shorter event. It’s has voice acting which only bigger events have and a pilgrimage dropped along with the event.
From what I have been hearing it was originally not voiced. The community got together and essentially asked Shift Up to add voice acting to this event. And I am so glad they did! The VAs absolutely delivered! 😊😭

Noise and the rest of Prima Donna don't participate in any of the other events. But their bond stories pretty much explain everything.
Ohhh! Okay thats interesting to know. I don't think I have the rest of the squad so it'll be a while for me to be able to tackle their bond stories. 🤔

So if you played Red Ash, the recruitment scene for Scarlet makes more sense and to answer who's the Blacksmith who repaired Rose's Sword.(I guess?)

They had ample time to add voice acting yet they didn't have time to fix the dialogue problem on matching the squad is quite odd for me.

Isn't Rose VA Tamara Fritz? Same as Rapunzel and Liliweiss? I search for it and didn't find her VA but she sure sounds like Lilith.

It originally did not have voice acting. That was added once it was in the archives.
