- Meet Lou Zamperini, a World War II vet and former Olympic runner, who ended up in a fight for his life when on a rescue mission crashed into the ocean, and had to survive 4 months at sea, only to be captured by the Japanese. This is truly one of the most incredible stories ever told. Don't miss it!

UNBROKEN: That part where he doesn't drop the plank has to be one of the strongest moments in any movie
Facts
One of the best movies ever.
They made it over dramatic. Read the book. It’s much better
Hey I have that book
@@BANANABOI26 its a movie ;-;
I love how he suffered through all this ,and he didn't turned into a hateful man who make statements like"Never forgive"
That's cool .
well its was during a war of course your not going to show mercy towards your enemy so it well be easy to forgive
once the war it's over
@@czaralexander5156 Read all those silly 'Never forgive' comments from people on yt ,that nevef even sufferd through a war .They only say this cuz they're so damm selfrighous .I think it's cool to be like that guy in the video .
@@czaralexander5156 good point. Very true
Specifically The Bird
Zamperini: "exists"
Italian mafia: *Write that down*
@Is my PC edible? I cannot tell if this is sarcasm
@Is my PC edible? Ahahahaha
The movie 'Unbroken' is amazing
So true
And the book.
Yes
it was okay i have no respect for prisoners of war even though it's not their fault and you have no control if your a
prisoner of war or not but i respect a soldier who fought their enemy without ever becoming a prisoner of war
Yea loved it. But to you know the name of the Sequel
4 months at sea is an incredible feat for anyone to survive
It was 47 days though. That’s 2 months. Not as impressive as 4 months but still extraordinary.
It was not 4 months but it was impressive
This is why I stay in my forest away from the ocean
Far far away.....
You have been forgotten.
Ha! I live in the forest on the ocean! Can't live in fear bruh
mmmmm smart bigfoot
thought the pnw forest had great views of the ocean

It’s weird how he would meet the man who would change his life forever.
It would be crazy if he was sent to the European Theatre instead of the Pacific one!
I read his book unbroken in the hole in prison and it gave me a whole new outlook on life I thought I had it bad and this man had went threw so many trials and tribulations but came out on top when it was all over. It made me realize how much worse my situation could be and that there was always light at the end of the tunnel his story is amazing and he’s really a inspiration I highly recommend checking out his book it’s a real eye opener.
Absolute awe to hear what people endure in their determination to survive. The willpower alone is incredible.
You should read his book : Unbroken
Just realized it from Swithfoot's song called "You Found Me".
One thing you missed is that he did send out a radio broadcast to his family saying he was still alive and will go fishing when he get home. This allowed his family to know he was alive because it was something that only his family knows about
What an amazing man
Indeed ,and he stayed a loveable person after all that .
@@samkangal8428 so true. considering what he and many others went through
Unbroken 10/10 movie

That was incredible.
This story motivated me to stay stronger
Can you make a video on "Law enforcement in medieval era"
Ooh, that would be good. Also, law enforcement in the Victorian era would be interesting. Although i do think both would be sad and cringe-worthy.
Steal fruit? That's a paddling.
Yes please.
Great story.

Watanabe...a cruel and violent prison guard...Known for unrelenting cruelty...We shall call him...The Bird??
Hey, have you ever dealt with a bird who really wants that churro you just bought at the beach? Hardly a more terrifying animal out there!
@@Raydawggie hmmm.. good point
He ran and hid like a scared bird
There is a book titled Unbroken. It gives you a lot more info and is a great read. I enjoyed the audio version very much.

THANKYOU INFOGRAPHICS FOR WONDERFUL STORY MY DEEP THANKS.
I knew exactly who this was about from the title because I read unbroken!! I loved it
It’s weird because im watching unbroken right now and this video pops up on my timeline
Love that movie
best book i’ve ever read
Nice video!
My old 6th grade teacher who was like family to me was related to this man she’s retired now but she told me stories about him
Funny thing how put running the cops can make you very fast. I remember my friends being behind me when someone said I'm calling the police. We turned around and ran and I was last in the pack and knowing the the last in line is the one caught i ran past all 7 of them and the other fast kid was the farthest from me when I started. I got back to base so quickly that I was waiting 20 mins for the rest of them to catch up. After 10 mins I thought we had lost some to capture. I still have no record. Lol
I love this story. I've heard it so many times. Ive read the book, watched the movie, and read the book multiple more times. It never gets old.
what was the name of the movie?
It's "Unbroken", mentioned at the end of the video
Uh yea. Unbroken
Early :D (congrats on the 10m subs)
I click everytime some how! Congratulations on 10 mill you deserve it your voice is ace
I’ve read the book and watched the movie unbroken
Spring is over and they still haven't released there live action bigfoot hunt video they said would be released in spring
Unbroken guy
So that's how Unbroken was made
It was 47 days at sea I believe but still incredible nonetheless
Ey Kiya wil
Yeah, why did they say 4 months? Wtf?
Read the book Unbroken for school and definitely enjoyed it
One of the interesting parts is apparently when he first went to be recruited his resting BPM was too low (slow?) and so when he went the second time he ran I think it was a mile or something so that his “resting” BPM would be high enough to qualify.
That part was about someone else if i remember correctly. He did fail a test on purpose though because he was busy with some movie or so and wanted to finish that before entering training.
Amen
I watched a movie on him it was great.
I love the book unbroken
one of the fastest men yeah sure i got the notif and clicked right away

The real life “Flash” DC Comics superhero fastest man alive.
A war hero.
Incredible.

What happened to the other surviving crew member from the plane. Did he survive captivity and the war?
I dont think so
He did survive. Went on to be a teacher and died in 1998
2:15 … correction In September 1941 he I listed in the Army Air Corps! Not the Army Air Force. It was know as the Air Corps and was a division of the Army.
I literally watched this film 2 hours ago. That is quite spooky.
Movie name ?

Read Unbroken. Amazing story
You know zaffirini live to be that old and did all these great things because of the Forgiveness he found within himself forgiving others is not about them it's about letting go of a poison within us so that we can get on with our lives this is an awesome story about forgiveness because watanabi had no regrets he had lived his life just fine and if zaprini would have tortured himself continue to torture himself after the war because of what had happened it would have been on him he chose to forgive and he lived his life good the other guy had no regrets and he lived his life good that's the miracle that is the miracle both men had the same reality
Wait i think i have heard this one before on tv shows or in a movie i think i watched it a long time ago
I read the book for my 8th grade ELA class. And have also watched the movie ✨
I personally like the book better they couldn't fit everything in the movie of course.
UNbreakble
Unbroken is the movie about him
Next video should be what is happening in surfaide right now we need to pray for them
Nice video
Read the book Unbroken. Its a really good book
He's a runner He's a track star
That B24 looks a lot like a Lancaster...
I feel the need to point this out.. the man in that photo is not Yokura Sashizo. And Zamperini was at sea for 47 days, not 4 months. Still an amazing story nonetheless.
Is it weird that recognized this story is from the book written by Laura Hillenbrand called:
Unbroken: A World War II Story of Survival, Resilience, and Redemption

My opinion: The book is much better than the movie!
Usually
It is awesome to watch infographics show I like what would hapoen if you didn't brush you're teeth for one week
nothing would happen lol
The book was not written by Louis Zamperini, some information was given to the author by him, sure, but the book was written by Laura Hillenbrand. Do not discredit the author. I would recommend correcting this by pinning your own correction comment.
He's a runner, he's a track star
Ok... war heros decide to be athletics and go grabs machine guns and go BRRRRRRR
Hah this is why I live no where near water btw I love you infographics also why did he move to California to escape fires lol
