Then for the challenge you have the unmoored world, that was an awesome reveal for that itch.
The parries in this game are so crisp I remember I hopped in and since my bum ass has spent 150 hours on the dogma 1 preparing for 2 I’ve still got my parry god mystic knight reflexes parrying a boss is so great, a cyclops swung his axe at me and I parried by muscle memory and the way the character shows how the momentum affects them and they go into the semi stagger parry animation because the thing you just parried is so big it pushes you but you block it completely cool af don’t know how else to describe it
So I was playing Warrior when I met my first Griffin and hoooo boi can you stunlock them to death. The Rising slash lifts you off the ground when fully charged and when you do that the moment a griffin tries to take flight (or just jumps to stomp on you) You knock them out of the air and onto the ground giving you a free execute attack. Then you can charge the attack again and wait for the Griffin to literally do anything and knock them down again. After all the times Griffins ran out on me ,or just refused to fight me at all, Bullying one as a Warrior felt really cathartic.
I’m so glad I wasn’t the only one shocked that tossing the escorted didn’t end the quest. For me my escort had to tag along while I went to Harve then Trevo mine before taking her to Vernworth. It’s a miracle she survived because I almost didn’t a few times 😂😂😂
Played through the night till I got warrior. Don’t know if I was unlucky but my first trip to the city I was attacked by 3 griffins and an ogre and they only spawned every time I spotted an ox cart.
Only useful thing to come out of this whole microtransaction misinfo fiasco is being able to tell VERY EASILY who has an ounce of critical thought and respect for the truth in their heads and who is a herd mentality brainless NPC who easily falls for misinformation campaigns. You can for example, start blocking TH-cam channels who echo the misinformation (either intentionally, ie a grift, or unintentionally, ie they don't do their research so you wouldn't want to watch that channel either way), find bad apples in your circles of people you know (I deleted a bunch of Steam friends who review bombed the game, if they used misinformation in their review), and just in general whether to take certain people seriously in the future at all. If they're influenced by misinformation and herd bandwagons this easily, they're not worth being part of your life. Basically a perfect litmus test this is.
yea the griffin chased me quite a ways before getting tangled in some battle over the hill with a drake my level 10 ass was not about to walk into whatever it was they were doing over there
My biggest experience was fighting a griffin outside the capital then halfway through having a minotaur show up causing mega issues (it was very scary hug me) then running back to town to rest only for a fucking cyclops to be throwing down with the townsfolk. 10/10
Glad peeps here are having fun with DD2. It really does feel like the next step after DD1 so far. I adore it for now, even though I suffer through 15-35fps with my 8 year old rig, it's still great to play, the Warrior is amazing to play this time around. The only issue I have so far is the game crashing when creating characters, which is pretty sad but yeah, it's to be expected with a fossil for a PC.

Your pawn is exhibiting signs of Dragonsplague and you will need to brine then revive him before he turns.
I’m SO excited for the first challenge run: Can you beat Dragon’s Dogma 2 without getting sassed to hell by Chonk Lord?
*See thumbnail* *instantly thinks of Ricardo U got that meme*
Thank you so much for this mate, well worth the wait.
Finally it has begun. CAREFULL A GOBLIN
The worst part of chonk lord falling off the bridge was he had the perfect pose before you moved him
Chonk lord got a dragonsplague right off the bat.
You are good with the shield. I was so bad that I took warrior just to face tank the enemies
It’s incredible how much chonklord is the main character 😂
Played through the night till I got warrior. Don’t know if I was unlucky but my first trip to the city I was attacked by 3 griffins and an ogre and they only spawned every time I spotted an ox cart.
Looking foward to this series
Nice to see a video that isn't a reddit melty about nonsense.
Basically a perfect litmus test this is.
this game is so much fun i absolutely love it i just wish it ran better
chonk lord out here like a sassy teenager XD
This is the game Istsuno-san has been waiting 12 years to deliver us. Monster Hunter the Medieval Fantasy Action RPG. It's fucking glorious.
Who needs to carry a shield when you have that delicious cake on the thumbnail?
god I need more video's of you playing this game!
Bro is caked up on the thumbnail 😂
great vid as always. def was hoping you would have put in the Chunk Lord voice mishap at the start lol
yea the griffin chased me quite a ways before getting tangled in some battle over the hill with a drake
my level 10 ass was not about to walk into whatever it was they were doing over there
Oh no chonk lord has become a moody tsundere
6 years and Chonkers got the sass game to a whole other level.😂
Chonk Lord has become...
CHEEK Lord
"this is dragons Dogma" more like the "Dogs drag'ma ass into oblivion each time"
My biggest experience was fighting a griffin outside the capital then halfway through having a minotaur show up causing mega issues (it was very scary hug me) then running back to town to rest only for a fucking cyclops to be throwing down with the townsfolk. 10/10
5:52 chonk lord wtf man 🤣
Glad peeps here are having fun with DD2.
I hope they will improve it in due time,I hope but for now...
"I know what I like" Hell yeah brother
I send check lord off, looking like a man in a ford commercial, to update his stats, and what do I find when he comes back?
Double cheeked up
