Its funny how dd2 solo is wildly different in difficulty depending on vocation. Thief is baby game journalist mode because the Maister skills are that op, meanwhile Trickster will make you find out what the barrel of a gun tastes like
Even without Formless Feint, Thief has built in i-frames, base kit climbing attack, the best mobility options with wall jump + Concussive Leap, deals INSANE damage with Skull Splitter, AND has access to magic dmg without needing to carry another weapon thanks to Enkindled Blades. Harpies? Use Implicate. It'd be the best solo vocation in the game if Warfarer didn't let you combine Thief's busted base kit and skills with a bow + Explosive Arrows.
Honestly with how easily you got through the game with only your main pawn, I’m not surprised this was the next step. Thanks as always for the challenge runs, can’t wait for your future coverage of the game o7
I knew when I saw the spearhand that this might be a bit easy lategame. The double hit of the bolt slow is basically torpor from dd1 permanently, and you don't even have to use weaker weapons this time dhdkdbdkd.
I've had alot of success with the combat balancing mods, got the game to a nice point where the stagger and health were high enough to be challenging and another that nerfs / buffs a few of the classes to be more in line. *Really* hoping this game gets some balance and love in a Dark Arisen style revamp though, so much damn potential.
I hate the beggar too. but death was too easy for him, so i made sure his every waking moment was a living hell. Giving the clothes to the noble wife made sure he will never live down the shame of drawing my ire
The mods for the game so far arent crazy but it seems like theres a lot of added difficulty if you want it between custom enemy difficulty mods and sone encounter/enemy stat NG+ mods. Vocation rebalances are also nice for putting all of them on a little more equal footing.
I also started a solo run around the same time, never finished it because I'm eternally waiting on the update from the Wild Loot mod, playing with it really makes exploring and looking for caves feel fun so I wanted to wait till that got finished, but now I've been waiting so long I'm just gonna come back when they add hard mode
Going to play through the game as Byleth as a Warfair using the Three Lords weapons in new game+ (Dragon’s Flight for Edelgard, Any Duo Spear for Dimitri and probably Magick bow for Claude (I know it’s a regular bow, this so I have a magic weapon on hand). Will have a sword for his fighting style and a staff for healing. Probably going to have Yuri (fourth house leader) as the Pawn as the thief using the magic holy daggers at the end game. Other than that, I have never had the balls to play Dragon’s Dogma solo. Your showing me who’s boss
A real gamer pro, i wish to become the professional this gamer pro is. At the moment I have given dragon aids to every town in the game, im not good at this
This is gonna sound dumb but I liked hearing the Etrian Odyssey music through the video. But Amazing video, was thinking of playing a solo run so I was checking out some vids for points and highlights
Warfarer allows you to go all in on physical and all in on magick simultaneously so I'd say yes. My warfarer is Spearhand bubble shield, Bow explosive, magick archer reviver/healer.
oh no trust me, you are right in saying that this vocation ruins hands. It's already not healthy for our hands to play games but to ALSO always be holding down buttons, especially the shoulders or triggers, you can really damage your hands
As a sorcerer the holy enchanted staff works great solo. It's focused bolt does a double stagger, once on impact and then when it explodes, gives a nice window to cast a spell.
I live vicariously through your videos since DD2 is not available in my country. Guess I have even more reasons to find a better place to live, the game looks awesome
hey cringe, i was gonna start a new dd2 run after i havent played for a bit, i wanna do all the achievements, do you have any tips to make the game a little harder? i was gonna do an "arisen" playthrough, meaning mystic spearhand vocation only and doing all quests i can do.
Wait, u can fly with grigori in the boss fight? Dear god. He dies in 2 augural flares i never realized...i need to fight him again, _slowly_ Also recommend solo archer. Its one hell of a time
Yo @Infinite_Cringe did you know you can apprently parry the mechanic of your pawn catching you from a high fall I have a 1 minute video on my page where I parried my pawn catching me i don’t even know how it’s possible but I’m not capping
Spearhand is strong but also the most annoying+boring to play imo. That constant boltcharging gets on my nerves+hand like you noted. The worst class solo is figther (and in general in terms of damage output) so yeah, mage/fighter are the hardest to solo in my experience. Thief w/o maisterskills is still a walk in the park bc of ......anything is his kit. He can just deal with everything. I would argue the thief maisterskills are detrimental to his dps. The dagger fire thingy does mediocre damage compared to clinging hits on weakspots. The invuln skill makes you play like a moron instead of positioning properly and it will teleport you all over the place which is time you could v done damage. So yeah, it is easy mode but actually nerfs Thief's dps significantly.
Its funny how dd2 solo is wildly different in difficulty depending on vocation. Thief is baby game journalist mode because the Maister skills are that op, meanwhile Trickster will make you find out what the barrel of a gun tastes like
Trickster is the easiest to me.
@@josephreagh2111 not solo
Fuck getting the ultimate skills, literally just Skull split everything into the dirt.

"So I hopped on the Sphinx and had her take me across the border. This is where everything started going wrong." LOL sounds about right
I already miss his thundercakes
same
The armored core music during the dragon hunting montage is way too based
was it AC:VD or one of the For Answer ones? I only played 4, FA and 6 so my knowledge is limited.
@@RogueishRaven it was "Panther" from AC4
@@onyxfowl3414 Oh amazing, thanks!
0/10 clickbait title, this character has paws.
I thought the title said "no pants" for a sec
For a large chunk of the playthrough that would've also been correct.

I find your channel 100% randomly youtube recomendation , all of your videos are very funny. congrats
Dragonforged gear? More like Dragon-glazed 😳
Nothing to forge on that apparel 😂
it looks like the dragons cummed on my armour in the afterlife to get revenge for me killing them
Have you considered doing a run where you can only use looted/dropped gear?
That might be fun. Thanks for the idea.
The fact you survived that fall off of Greg was pretty amazing.
I've already seen Biscuit Sticks beat DD2 as a SOLO TRICKSTER. Nothing surprises me any more.
You should have been invited to voice a role in the game! Your voice fits perfectly into the world!
Honestly with how easily you got through the game with only your main pawn, I’m not surprised this was the next step. Thanks as always for the challenge runs, can’t wait for your future coverage of the game o7
I saw that barrel at 02:47 and the rocks you were walking and knew what was about to happen lol.
The way you slide down in Gregory's lair.. Pure "Dragon's Dogma" God's Gamer skills
That's not Grigori thought 🤓

Panther?! This channel just got knocked up another 1000 points for me!
You choosing AC4's Panther soundtrack makes me wish I could subscribe twice lmao. Awesome OST
5:58 that shit was funny asf xD Why does that remind me so much when homelander pushed his kid off the roof
That dragon fight. Holy cow you put armored core 4 panther ost. Maybe the best armored core theme ever. Respect
Funny how I finished a bourbon run in umamusu before watching this.
and there she is.
This is always fun watching while playing DDDA, thank you :)
The bash to the head on the gryphon at 8:05 made me feel things.

After 100+ hours and a month after the game's release TIL that you can Kabedon (wall slam) enemies. Thanks Infinite for this lesson
I kinda really want to see a solo Wayfarer run now where you grind the games challenge into a fine powder and snort it

Mating habits of beastbond, I suppose.
Is warfarer consider much stronger than mystic spearhand?
It can be depending on the build as you can use any weapons and skills (besides maister)
Warfarer allows you to go all in on physical and all in on magick simultaneously so I'd say yes. My warfarer is Spearhand bubble shield, Bow explosive, magick archer reviver/healer.
yes

We need a fist only gremlin playthrough one day

Doing it no pawns because more exp and I find it easier, plus I can ignore some gross mechanic lol
Man I really hope the dlc somehow makes the story better because I really do love everything else except the story lol
I cannot wait for the DLC to come out.
Wait what? Does she have a mod for getting to unmored world like that or are there two ways of getting there?
Hear the NAUR kills me every time
Well Played Ser Arisen.
Dang can’t believe you played a vocation. Every vocation is too strong. DD2 content should be fists only.
the ending is too sad
that doesnt have anything to do with the video i was just thinking about it
Now we need lightningpies
10:20 Armored core 4 OST panther 👍
Isnt stamina augment any good?

Solo Trickster gotta be the worst one to accomplish

I probably will never do the sphinx quest.
Come back when you've got a solo trickster run /s
now do it as trickster
Jumpscared by the armored ost
Please make a Mystic Knight run in Dragon's Dogma 2, make the Warfarer as close as possible to the Mystic Knight.
I think fighter is super well rounded for solo play... untill you get slept by harpys 🤬
anyone else having 0 motivation to replay this game? i remember playing dd1 right over again after my first run with all the dlc
no
no, just you
The game improves with multiple playthroughs
I'm in love. This game is like a digital second home
Nope, I finished the game then literally played for another 8 hours in NG.
No op vacation > Spirit lancer 😂
Damn how tho
So where's the Trickster-only run?
Next rule for self - never dragonforge armor cuz it looks like shit. Fashion above all!
10/10 would kabedon
And I've beaten it with no pants. Get on my level
So is the story more or less like the first game
Yeah basically the same but in a different dimension. Personally I think the dark arisen DLC has a better story in the first game.
No mods btw
Well that is a sub.
