I've only heard a dog scream once like that - it had been abused its whole life. The fact that the pup instantly calmed down when in your arms means it was terrified you were someone else. I'm so happy that pup is okay!

I adopted a poodle whose previous owner was a hoarder, they neglected her and kept her in a cage for years. Once I adopted her, she and I were bonded. She learned that she could free go in/out as she pleased, fed very well, loved & cuddled as much as possible. By the end of her life, she died in her sleep surrounded by the ones she loved, passing on in my arms. She was the perfect dog, and I hope I see her first thing when I go
My mom adopted 3, half pug-shitzu then deformed shitzu and puddle toy The first one, her brother was dead when my mom found him, literally dead right beside all the dogs feces puddle toy also as bad as the first one, her brother also dead from no vaccine against worms and she has no fur whatsoever The last one shitzu is fine overall, he just so smol the breeder can't sell it
I miss my dog. My family had to put him down recently and it was so painful. He was a rescued dog and seeing these videos help me feel better knowing that my family did gave him a home.

We found my dog Bailey just like that. Cold, skinny and crying for help on the side of the road. We took her to the vet and had to have emergency surgery on most of her body. Turns out she used to be a fight dog and when she lost the old owner beat her and left her in the side of the road. We did some investigation and got their whole organization shut down. She’s now the sweetest dog I’ve ever had.❤

My roommate once tried to foster a dog, but got too caught up to really take care of it. Naturally, it fell to me to take care of it. I didn't want the headache but slowly we grew attached. It was a smart dog, I only had to teach it something once. It began following me around everywhere, sometimes into trouble, and I had to skip out of class to prevent other dogs from attacking it But over time I taught it to be independent. As young as he was, he began to make a mark on the dog community, more and more dogs were seen following his lead. I watched on proudly, a strong independent dog. Over time I saw less and less of him. But one day, my friend who takes trips around the college, spotted a wolf pack nearby. And near the border of their territory, an unmistakable skull. My boy was gone. I'm sorry I ever crossed paths with you Uno. I hoped you lived a happy life, however short it may have been. It's still your childhood cries I hear whenever I hear a pup cry.
The dog was literally terrified through the core when he saw that woman but with just one gentle touch.....u can see the calm and hope started burning through him.... it's heartbreaking but at the same time wholesome
In fact he was terrified the whole time at the beginning of the video (Dogs wag their tails when they are frightened or angry as this is a sign that the dog is emotional and not always happy) The poor puppy his back was completely broken so he could not run away or fight to release himself.. I hope that his new life will be full of happiness and treats
this reminded me of our neighbourhood dog. In my grandmothers neighbourhood theres this dog who everyone in the community just loves and adores, and welcomes him into our houses for food etc. One day, i went to my grandmas house then saw the dog's eye, completly fallen apart. Someone hit him really hard, and he almost looked blind. He just laid down there as my heart shattered. We took him to the vet, in our car. The whole neighbourhood chipped in for the surgery and now the dogs really happy. He's a loveable buddy. We all love him.

I have a rescue dog he is now 8 months old and I still feel he is dealing with some trauma issues to this day. But he is getting better every day. People are not the ones that suffer trauma. Anybody who treats these poor innocent animals like this need to get their lives in check. I have never seen an aggressive dog that hasn’t been abused in some way before. They are the most caring and loyal beings on this planet and some of us take it for granted. I have a pitbull and people are scared because they have a bad reputation for being used in dog fights, but she is the sweetest dog ever.
They are caring and loyal because we take them away from their mother at a young age, meaning they'll imprint us as their parent and because we decide to train them. Have you seen African wild dogs? They'd target you in an instant. We humans tend to humanise animals because we're obviously comparable, but dogs are not humans.
4 month ago I found a dog just like that, it took me 2 month to get his trust, i fed him every day and gave him water, now he is sleapings with with me every night. I love him so much he gets so excited when I come home from school. hes everything for me, im so lucky I got him.
He just yelled. Even after all hes been through he didnt lash out he just begged for mercy. Mercy found him. A soul so pure. And still untainted after all he went through.

My dog named Kiwi was a hurt dog. She was hurt and left on the streets she lost her family. I now own Kiwi, for 4 years now. She’s 11 years old she’s getting old but she’s happier than ever.

When i got my dog the shelter said they found her in the woods, scared to interact with anyone, and extremely malnourished. She has a scar on her snout where we think they muzzled her when she was a puppy. We had her for about 6 years now and she still flinches whenever someone tries to pet her.
I saved a rat that was covered in cysts and suffering from malnutrition. I brought him to the vet, paid to surgically remove his cysts, and nursed him back to health. He became the best little snuggle buddy ever. He died today. Got a sinus infection and could barely breath, plus was very very old for a rat, i had to euthanize him. It broke my heart. Today was full of tears.

I saw an SOB in a pickup hit a stray dog and drag her, she ended on the side of the road. She ws screaming like that when I approached her but stopped when I started talking to her. I stopped and took her home. Her hips were broken and I had her for 12 years.

It began following me around everywhere, sometimes into trouble, and I had to skip out of class to prevent other dogs from attacking it But over time I taught it to be independent. As young as he was, he began to make a mark on the dog community, more and more dogs were seen following his lead. I watched on proudly, a strong independent dog.
Over time I saw less and less of him. But one day, my friend who takes trips around the college, spotted a wolf pack nearby. And near the border of their territory, an unmistakable skull.
My boy was gone.

The dog was literally terrified through the core when he saw that woman but with just one gentle touch.....u can see the calm and hope started burning through him.... it's heartbreaking but at the same time wholesome

this reminded me of our neighbourhood dog. In my grandmothers neighbourhood theres this dog who everyone in the community just loves and adores, and welcomes him into our houses for food etc. One day, i went to my grandmas house then saw the dog's eye, completly fallen apart. Someone hit him really hard, and he almost looked blind. He just laid down there as my heart shattered. We took him to the vet, in our car. The whole neighbourhood chipped in for the surgery and now the dogs really happy. He's a loveable buddy. We all love him.

So sad to see a dog so terrified. I just hope he can get over the trauma that it went through. I have a rescue dog he is now 8 months old and I still feel he is dealing with some trauma issues to this day. But he is getting better every day. People are not the ones that suffer trauma. Animals have a conscious and do remember the good as well as the bad. Please be kind to them. They have a short life compared to ours. Let’s try to make every day a special one for them. Thank you

Anybody who treats these poor innocent animals like this need to get their lives in check. I have never seen an aggressive dog that hasn’t been abused in some way before. They are the most caring and loyal beings on this planet and some of us take it for granted. I have a pitbull and people are scared because they have a bad reputation for being used in dog fights, but she is the sweetest dog ever.

When i got my dog the shelter said they found her in the woods, scared to interact with anyone, and extremely malnourished. She has a scar on her snout where we think they muzzled her when she was a puppy. We had her for about 6 years now and she still flinches whenever someone tries to pet her.

I saved a rat that was covered in cysts and suffering from malnutrition. I brought him to the vet, paid to surgically remove his cysts, and nursed him back to health. He became the best little snuggle buddy ever. He died today. Got a sinus infection and could barely breath, plus was very very old for a rat, i had to euthanize him. It broke my heart. Today was full of tears.

I saw an SOB in a pickup hit a stray dog and drag her, she ended on the side of the road.
She ws screaming like that when I approached her but stopped when I started talking to her. I stopped and took her home.
Her hips were broken and I had her for 12 years.
