Tbh I like it as an idea because it’s not really hurting anyone and it puts more content out for some wrestlers who aren’t usually on air
This is also the most nightmare show to recreate for universe mode

WWE Speed is basically for people who have short attention spans. Which is a great concept and pretty cool that Ricochet is the champion, imagine if he defends it on other shows I doubt it but it would be interesting

This is sort of like a TV championship, where you need to win in 3 minutes. It's champion advantage... So a heel champ could take advantage of that. I wonder what count outs are.

New version of Sunday night Heat or Velocity probably
I thought the WWE Speed belt looks pretty sweet + it may not be for everyone, but I don't think it's a bad thing to have a weekly 3 minute show to show on Twitter & it also helps showcasing talent who may not appear (often) on either RAW or Smackdown.
Seems like a fun way to check out cool spots. I do appreciate the incredible stuff high flyers…especially Ricochet…can do. But as I’ve been getting back into wrestling (I was a huge fan as a kid in the 90s and I only wanted to see fights) I find myself more invested in the stories. So I might check out speed if I wanna see some cool stuff. But right now I’m waiting to see what happens when Rhea returns. When Punk returns. The next time KO and Solo/Tama are in the building. Or what is Chad gonna do after last night?! Will Otis and the gang finally turn on him?? Love your stuff dude. Keep up the great work.

From what I understand , aside from the 3 minute matches there will be continues tournaments to determine a number one contender for the speed Championship. So it looks like there's no storylines or rivalries, just tournaments and short matches. It's an interesting concept and it will give some camera time to those who normally get brushed to the side if favor of bigger superstars. I like it. As someone who doesn't watch much wrestling anymore, I can see myself watching this on a weekly bases.

I like this idea. Its almost like the royal rumble where you can give fans a quick taste of two competitors matching up quickly, like a sample. You could start rivalries or potential future matches. You can get a quick idea of how fans react to two superstars matching up without having to make a full invenstment or take time on raw or smackdown first.

I was there at the show they recorded them, was on Draft Day1. Draft was way lamer than the dark matches we got. Ricochet was a highlight of the night working 2x Speed matches.

Beat the clock and speed are very different it looks like speed has a set limit beat the clock u try to win as fast but some matches can extend
I'm sure everyone will make the comparison but WWE Speed seems like the next Sunday Night Heat, Velocity, etc and giving it a gimmick

Besides it being on X, i feel like a big problem is that it's not built into kayfabe very well. I like that it's not Cruiserweight exclusively because Bronson Reed was great, but I just don't get why it's there besides a consolation prize for Ricochet? I know it's only new, so the title doesn't have much of a legacy, but I still don't fully understand why it's of relevance
The fact there wasn't really any qualifiers, or reason in kayfabe to want it besides "titles good", is really odd. I think this show needs to be pushed on the regular programming to be important.
I would also like if the Speed matches were used as something to earn a match? Beat JD, and you get to fight Finn on RAW?

I don't know how to watch it. There's so many posts on the WWE X page that I scrolled for an eternity and only got to yesterday's post. I pay for the network seems like they should at least cross post there to make it more accessible.

Why not just bring back the cruiser weight title back but redo the title like they did with the wwe tag team titles currently on smackdown take inspiration from the wcw & ruthless aggression era cruiser weight title & really showcase the fast paced talent that have nothing to do.

It's NOT on TV. Which is why when yesterday when I visited the official WWE roster page, I was EXTREMELY confused as to why Richochet was listed as the WWE Speed champion since I watch RAW, NXT and Smackdown every week and watch the monthly PPVs and I had no freaking clue what the heck a WWE Speed championship was. Reason I didn't know: it's NOT on TV. They don't even mention it on TV. This new championship is so irrelevant even the 24/7 championship felt far more important (seriously, at least the 24/7 championship was on TV every week and had stories and for a while during the R-Truth vs Drake Maverick and his wife story and even during the pregnant Maria story and even during the beginning of the Dana Broke 24/7 reign and especially during the wedding story, the 24/7 championship was relevant (VERY GOOFY, even falling into "This is so terrible, it's fun" territory at times, but at least it was relevant and was on TV, as goofy and ridiculous as it got).
This WWE Speed championship doesn't even feel cannon to WWE.
It's not on TV, they don't even acknowledge it on RAW, NXT and Smackdown, and it's going to be forgotten by the end of this month. It's 100% irrelevant and the super quick match format is a completely horrible idea. Also having the matches exclusive to Twitter X is backfiring on WWE in a huge way. There are people in this comment section saying that they are trying to find the Speed matches on Twitter X but they can't find them since they are buried under several other WWE Twitter X posts. I've tried looking through WWE's Twitter feed and even I can't find them. This is horrible in so many ways. End of rant.

I'm pretty sure they made this just to give Ricochet a title. Why don't they just bring back the Cruiserweight Championship? They have a ton of cruiserweights in WWE that are doing nothing. They don't need to have a stupid little 205 live show, they can be part of the main shows.

Speed is fine if they keep it to X. If it starts showing up live on RAW and Smackdown, it’ll start losing what makes it special IMO. I hope that doesn’t happen.

Speed would be better suited if it wasnt exclusive to X, but rather was their crossbrand social media show. Have it on the youtube as well. Having it only on X just helps X advertise its own brand, whereas wwe would get more eyes on it across their own cross-platform social media accounts. This just says “X wants our viewership to be X members”, which makes it unessential from Go for most people. There is no real essential push to go out of one’s way to see this.

The idea is cool. But its not 4 me. I watch Raw and Smackdown and all ppv i skip NXT to not watch 2 much to start to get board with it. I watch the NFL and college i stat away from the XFL for the dame reason. To much of something is sometimes a bad thing for me anyways.
I feel like Speed is targeted at the TikTok demographic. People with short attention spans who just want a blur of action. Which is fine, different strokes and all. For me, though, it isn’t my thing. I want the psychology that can only be had in a longer match. Just my taste.
