- This is a tutorial of how to create some awesome Custom match types in WWE 2k23. The community shared some of their favorites to create in WWE 2k23. I'll be showing you step by step. Also a bonus tip at the end!

I like custom matches because you can do elimination and some other stuff where your opponent can't stop the pin
Absolutely I miss the 3 stages of hell matches WWE needs to bring it back now that Hunter is running creative and he's had 2 of them that I can remember. Against stone cold one against hbk and they were awesome

We definitely need that back. With the ability to use our custom matches would also make some bangers. I wouldn't be too mad though if we weren't able to use custom matches 1st time round.

Something I got from Reddit was that you basically schedule 3 matches in a row, different types. The first match has an entrance, the last two matches you turn entrance off. It's not the same because of endurance, but it's passable.
Heritage cup match would be dope too
Especially if you could change the stipulations for each round in create a match
missed my chance to share it, but ill share it here. Its been a staple in my universe for a while. BRAWL FOR ALL, 6-8 men, No DQ, No Count out, Elimination match. Can be won by Pinfall, Submission, or Knock Out. PURE. CHAOS.

My favorite custom matches hands down is when there's multi person backstage brawl type matches especially if it's elimination style thru pin or KO. I did a fatal 4 way tag Elimination KO matches backstage and they get chaotic real quick since it's in a free roam area. Probably won't work as well in other hidden areas but seems to do well in the regular backstage we have. Whoever was able to bring in the backstage for multi person matches made it much fun. Plus been messing around with PrinceMartyM's arenas. they have been doing a great job in that department especially the concert, castle, ny bridge, etc.

Sup Matt, Some Of My Most Favorite Matches To Play That I've Made Is: 1, Pin Brawl (8 People, No Rules, Pin Only In The Ring). 2, Is A Different Pin Brawl But (8 People, No Rules, Submission Only In The Ring). 3, Furious 5 Way Match (5 People, Ironman Rules, 30mins, Pin Only). 4, 1 v 1 Judgement Day Match (1hr, Pin Only In Ring, Ironman Rules) "Other Judgement Day Matches Would Include (No Ring Escape, Hell In The Cell, Inferno Match) & 5, KO Only (Hell In The Cell, Steel Cage.) "These Matches Hit Harder If On Legendary Difficulty n All Whom Involved Are Max Level" (Ever Tried To Play As Max Level Undertaker n Fight Max Level Eddie G On Legendary Difficulty At Mania... Cause I Raged Lmfaoo). Keep Up The Incredible Work Matt.

I created the 6 Pack Challenge Elimination Match, and it's amazing.
My go-to custom match, when I have time on a weekend to just play long matches, is what I call the “Iron Bastard” match (partially inspired by the “Thunder Bastard” name from Progress).
It’s an 8-Man, 60-minute, no DQ, Iron Man match, with pin falls and submissions only counted in the ring. By the end of it, most competitors can barely stand and are probably injured, and the requirement to score falls in the ring means that it’s always a nail biter, either because the score is so low, or because it’s high.
Today, I was going back and forth with Cody Rhodes and I both having three and then four points, with Edge chasing one point behind at all times, and the other five guys still posing a problem throughout.

I usually do 5 man 2 out of 3 falls, 3 way iron man match and 8 man elimination match

My favourite is triple threat steel cage with no escape 2 out of 3 falls, because you never have 1 person roll out so they get up fairly quick and challenging to get a fall

I created a 5 way 2 out of 3 falls count anywhere match 😂
A match I made that was fun was do K.o in elimination chamber and put yourself in first/ do hell n a cell with a 15-20 min timer and do 2-3 falls with the champion on the line

Can you suggest how to make the game a little bit harder. I am hitting one finisher and the AI wrestler can't kick out of it. Can you suggest some sliders to make the AI kick out of the signatures and finishers more than usual?

Does anybody know how to put the titles on for these matches?
Depends on the match type if it’ll apply. But basically when your select the wrestlers look at the bottom of the screen to see options like toggle entrance on off and then title match on off

Bring back 3 vs 3 elimination chamber tag matches
In WWE 2K14, you could make a Last Man Standing Elimination Chamber or a Elimination 4 way tag team hell in a cell and shit like that. Man it was dope as hell
I love that the Scramble match means Brian Kendrick is just randomly a former WWE champion (even though WWE only recognise the final winners of the match). 😂
I've always loved making custom tornado tag matches ever since no mercy and wrestlemania 2000. With iron tornado tag. In 2k23 I made iron man tornado matches, iron extreme rules tornado matches as well and iron tornado hiac matches. They are super fun but the only problem I have with these match types is that the cpu goes absolutely crazy at times and the opposing team ALWAYS tries to jump the player. And I see errors sometimes in the matches. They will also try to set you up to jump you, lol. It can be very annoying but the matches are really fun.
I just love the custom matches, makes the game more fun 🔥
I use this match for In Your House… “Backyard Brawl” 8 man elimination pin or submission…. All the weapons have to be house hold items
My favorite custom match is called gates of hell its a 8 man 2 out of 3 falls HELL IN A CELL match ! Its grueling its hard to win all the wrestlers get beat up there tired its just awesome

I do my universe series and I always look for ways to change it up and I’m currently in the works with a 3 stages of hell match
My fav to do is full metal mayhem its a 4 or 5 way elimination but all the weapons have metal elements. Chairs, ladders, stop sign, shovel and sledgehammer
SINCE 2K19, I'VE BEEN MAKING THE TRADITIONAL SURVIVAL SERIES 8-MAN TAG TEAM ELIMINATION MATCH SINCE IT'S ALWAYS NOT ON THERE 😅
I was thinking about the scramble match too amongst other matches like guest referee and I quit match and others

I did a double date mix tag match just for the fun which is a mix tag extreme rules match and I did itvas the big pay off in my exhibition mode rivalry with Seth and Becky vs Johnny Gargano and Candice LeRea. It was alright. I just wish it worked a bit better than the game would allow, but oh well.

During the tables match, if all the tables are used and broken early what you doing the rest of the match since you can't get new points ?
the first match i made in 2k24 was what i called a ko party which i used often in my universe modes, its an 8 man elimination match where you have to eliminate everybody by knockout
I just wish when I use a custom backstage the match actually ends by pin/submission. The custom backstage map has no win condition unless i turn back on KO
would love a champions scramble match like assemble said. I would really enjoy I quit match and object on a pole match. and if its a weapon you have to use it to win the match. if the item falls to the ground the ref picks it up and put it back on the pole.

Thanks for all of the WWE 2K23 content. I recently purchased the Deluxe Edition of 2K23 and was wondering if there was a way to unlock the showcase match unlockable wrestlers without playing through showcase mode? Thanks again!
Hey unfortunately no they locked all the showcase stuff behind the mode even when you have the mega boost it doesn’t unlock it for some reason.
Best solution play showcase matches on easy if you do you can be done in like 2 hours if you go fast
@@AssembleShow Thanks for the info. It's a shame that we can't unlock Showcase Mode content without playing through the game. As an older gamer, even on easy, the Showcases challenges are difficult for me. Who knows if I'll ever be able to unlock RVD?

2//3 falls singles match in a cage with pin falls on. And Ko chamber is only way to win is by knockout each opponent for elimination
