WWE 13 CM Punk was his best entrance and his model was great, well of course it was he was the cover star 😂😂😂
His Killswitch engage theme was awesome. Like 2 or 3 years ago we went to a Slipknot concert and Killswitch opened for them and even though it wasn't the original singer when they played the song punk used to use I popped hard lol
His Moveset In SVR 2010 Was Epic That Combo He Had For His Signature Was 🤌🏾🤌🏾🤌🏾
I think you almost forgot that a lot of these games, especially the early ones had an extremely early cut-off time, I.E. SvR08 has the may 2007 roster and so on.
It’s the reason we didn’t get Punk and Jeff Hardy in SvR07.
So when he has the straight edge look in SvR11, it’s actually his 2010 look, when he had the WHC belt in SvR09, it’s his 2008 look when he had it and so on…

Punk singing Happy Birthday is one of my favorite Punk memories.
Fun fact: WWE’12 punk was originally supposed to be the nexus punk and was supposed to have the “this fire burns” theme, but then they changed his theme to cult of personality little before the game came out. That’s why the song doesn’t start off right like it does for WWE’13 and further on. And at the time ya know they weren’t releasing the games the actual years like they are now
It still is Nexus Punk, they just added Cult of Personality at the last minute

SVR 2011, WWE 12, WWE 13, 2K14 and 2K24 are my favorites, especially WWE 13. That game was my childhood, I wish that game was compatible for Xbox one

Appearently, CM Punk in WWE 12 was supposed to be the New Nexus Version, as you can see with his attire. New Nexus probably was a default stable, with Mason Ryan and Husky Harris. But when the game released, Punk already returned which lead to the Champion vs. Champion match at Night of Champions, so they removed Punk‘s shirt and quickly added the new Trons and Cult of Personality (without the Radio static).
WWE 13 also had a dope CM Punk entrance, when he was without a Championship. You need to check it out.
WWE 2K15 also had the MitB 2011 entrance with "This Fire burns". You have to pick "CM Punk '11" and then choose the default attire.
My only issue with the WWE2K24 cm punk entrance is facial animation i wish he looked happy and smiled more as he makes his way towards the ring to show that his feeling great to be back for the first time in years.
Can’t wait to play him again for the first time since 2K15. The yelling of “IT’S CLOBBERING TIME”, they probably didn’t had enough time to add it into the game. They probably for sure will add it to next years 2K game, but overall the character model is 10/10 for me

SVR 2011, WWE 13 and 2k15 are my favourite entrances.
I remember the WWE 12 lore so vividly lol. That Punk was basically intended to be the heel Nexus leader Punk but was given his updated theme song and trons last second because he became so over.

I feel that if they can pay out for the song Kingdom, and Cult of personality I felt they could’ve paid for the it’s Clobberin Time sound bite.
Hope we can have the option to have punks survivor series return trons. The one reason makes me think this is because all of the attires that the community would create of his different characters through WWE.

@@AssembleShow i still enjoyed the video, so no worries 😄. Btw i do prefer the OG Cult Of Personality, but i feel like AEW has the rights for it atm, that's why we got this version. I also prefer the OG version with the short intro that he had in the last WWE run till he left. I don't like the long intro, but that's just me. This Fire Burns is also a fucking banger, so i ain't complaining if we somehow get that.

I’m hoping they do a persona card for an older punk with the old theme song like they did for sheamus just don’t make us jump through so many hoops like the rest of them
Let’s not forget there is another version of punk that was in this game at this time, masked that was also a part of the straight edge society “gimmick”. People definitely forget about that small part of that time between 09 to late 2010 that he was doing S.E.S. I personally prefer the second version of the mask , this was after he got shaven bald mind you and he was in storyline with Rey and later big show. The masked punk was DLC in Svr 2011.

Can some pls address the size of championship belts in wrestling games? Like to this day they are still relatively small depending on what belts. Like the big gold belt is still too small in 2k24. I’d love your opinion/ take on this topic

I remember a show in the UK when Punk was heel, yet most of the crowd (the adults) were still cheering him.
In a dark section he went heel on us saying something like "I don't why you're cheering me, I think you're all W@nk3rs" a rather UK insult, to which the crowd response was to chant "We're all w@nk3rs"
Punk smiled and said, "I love you guys." Paused and finished with "well, I tried Vince." 😂

If 2k gives us the option to turn off the stances so not everyone has to stand like they’re doing kung fu, i will literally buy whatever dlc they drop. They could be charging like $20 for one character and I’ll still buy it. Please 2k, let us turn off those stances 🙏🙏🙏🙏
This Fire Burns was my favorite theme song. I don't like Cult of Personality, but then again, I've never liked that song. lol Also, I've never really been a CM Punk fan. I'm glad he's back, and he is in a much better headspace. I've just always been meh on him.

I feel like In 2K24 Punk is missing his facial animations during the entrance. Like Alot of the guys in 2K24 actually. Idk why they don't add them anymore. They look dead when they walk to the ring. Shane McMahon is the worst. Just look at his frozen face during his entrance. It's actually kinda sad cuz he has an amazing entrance.
And also for Punk's Chant. I always thougt it be easy to replace it with Punk yelling "Best in the World" that be fine too.

Back in the 90s WCW Figures were made by the same company who made marvel figures so for Raven since he wore band shirt snd those were copywriten the toy company put comic characters on his shirts haha I got a daredevil Raven fig because of copywrite law
