Nearly 90% of US prison populations are estimated to suffer from personality disorder. Not all disorders make a person into a murderer though that is just TV entertainment.

I had a VERY similar issue. I was 15 and doing work experience in a high-street law firm (only about 8 employees) and when I went to have my lunch one day in the waiting room (where I usually had lunch) the 65 year old receptionist Enid came up to me and said, "That's my chair". I packed up my sandwiches and left.

The harder you are in prison, the more your hurting and scared inside. I'd rather feel anger than to feel the pain and loneliness associated with doing time. It was a good distraction at the time but eventually you have to go inward or go insane. After doing 27 years my only salvation was the sweat lodge and teachings of my ancestors. I'm very grateful I made it and now work as an addiction counsellor sharing my story so others might be influenced not to go down that road of pain and misery. Makes me happy to see you turning your past into a possitive as well. It gives people hope that it's possible to have a productive life after prison, even if you have a rap sheet, starting over with nothing but what you've learned. There is hope🌄

They give a very good explanation why so many prisoners keep returning: They get released, nobody looks after them, no after care at all. If someone comes out of prison (especially drug addicts and people that have been in jail for a long time), they should be taken care of. Don't let them go back to their old situation to begin with.

  • @shoominati23

What is mad about Shaun is that he doesn't strike you as a guy who could be capable of the things he did. I somehow question how he survived in that world. Money talks obviously and he fascinates me !!!

When you go to prison for being the head of a ginormous drug ring, you tend to get some respect.
