I am a native Arizonan. He is not lying about his story. We have a public prison/inmate website. ADOC Inmate Lookup (Arizona Dept of Corrections). He's in there. Dude did a solid 4 years straight in our prison.
As far as people not believing his rocket grenade story? This is Arizona. We have less gun laws than Texas. My dad is Mexican. People walk around with guns out in the open everywhere. Yes, it Is the norm to see an AR-15 or high grade weapons out here.
This bloke is 100% legit with his Arizona story. His prison sentence is public record in Arizona. And we practically have 0 gun laws. We are a 3 hour drive to Mexico.

it was the mayor or the cheif of police, they did kill corrections officers, but the one in the news was a government official. and the funny thing was it got called off in the last second they followed him into a restaurant and were sitting a few seats away, and they got called off. i forgot why but i remember, scary thing was i didnt hear about it in the news because to story came out years later, i heard about it in the streets. was some scary times!!

I've had Gang's "Adopt me" "unofficially" before. One, I didn't know one of my friends, this Black Dude named Rock'Em, was the leader of NWA - Nigga's with Attitudes.. I had NO IDEA... We were in Job Corps, I was 17, he was 21, David this black kid With Ozzy Tat's no one black liked usually - OZZY? They hated him. Then big white boy John, just one of those bigger than all the other guys dudes - but a gentle giant - until pissed, then white boy Danny and white boy me - I got the pot, David was goofy fun, Danny was witty insulting comedian egotistical type but tiny skinny - lives on wit, not brawn, and well.. Rock'Em Got Beer, I Got the Weed, the guys brought money - we all hung out together all the time - no GANGS or anything... But we all hated narks...
Well, this black dude got drunk from beer he got off Rock'em and got puke drunk and whensecurity knew what was up and asked where he got it - he pointed to Rock'Em, Gang Leader unbeknownst to me, and he was in there on a court bid whereas I volunteered to go to Job Corps. He was already in trouble, and in danger of getting kicked out already. Well.. Me and Ricky, the Black dude with the Tats, was my best buddy there so we decided to beat up the nark. (Not very christian of me I know) but Rock'Em in ear shot - said "Wait until I give you guys a signal at lunch" we were like - OK COOL.
Lunch? Rock'Em gave the Signal? We POUNCED! We were both pounding this balled up dude, he wasn't fighting, then Ricky RAN OUT - then a TON of People Ran out of the CAFE... and left me there... over the cowering fool - Few more punches... tried to stab him with a fork but it bent.. so I left and followed the crowd - WRONG MOVE! See, the majoroty there was black - like 500-1000 people and like 12 whites, 6 Spanish, ZERO anything else. Well. - there was a riot out there and people were throwing rocks and sticks at the Guard shack.
Unknown to me - They were all CHASING RICKY because he is BLACK and has Ozzy Tatoos - they all wanted to kill him anyways. They chased him into the Guard shack and they wanted blood. Here I come walking around the corner - before it all clicked I was surrounded - and when one dude was shouting at me, one from behind hit me in the back of the head so hard my vision left me - until the front of my head was smashed on a wall - I was like Trying to stay on my feet and block and got near a wall the masonry dept made - so it was rock - cut my forehead wide open - scarred to this day... but I could see - I threw a few punches and was then pig piled on and fell down kicked, punched - wrecked - until some white kids yanked me out of the PILE... PHEW.
Later, after the Job Corps Security Interrogations... things were almost back to normal - I still didn't know Rock'em was in a gang. Rock'Em was also friends with a Muhammad who was like the Nation of Islam Emun of Job Corp - well.. they told me they had some friends that wanted to apologize to me. Turned out - members of Muhammad's Islam crew and Rock'em's Gang were made to apologize to me if they had a hand in pounding on me that day. From then on - if anyone messed with me or Ricky with th eOzzy tat's they had the Nation of Islam and the Nigga's with Attitudes staring them down - and it was amazing how fast they would be like "Why the fuck you standing for a white boy for man?" Muhammad wouldn't even raise a voice - just a look - and they would leave genturing angry. Funny after you see it a couple times. I held my own before - but this was like Royalty and I didn't ask for it - just didn't like a drunk who couldn't hold his liquor bring hell down on my friend who did him a favor - fair and square.
I've had two similar experiences in other places - and they had to do with Muslims standing up for me in JAIL once because they knew I loved God and flew solo - no gang affiliations - and once, a bunch of Afrikaans stood with me against some american ghetto blacks in county - they had a stereo typical huge body building black guy guarding the remote control for the TV. I don't do gangs, so I just asked if we could change the channel and he said he would spit on my face and I take that as a threat of life - so - I said bring it - he led me in the back and I went storming after him to kill that mother fucker and his peeps stood up like they were going to fight me too then the Afrikaans Stood Up - and Said "We Don't Think so" - One was a bunkie of mine, and we talked about God alot. I'm a martial artist so I wasn't scared of BIG MAN - worst happens - you die - win - great - lose? He won't fuck with you again if you hurt him good. He'll know you're a SPAZ... but when they tried to GANG UP? Righteousness Prevailed! :) No one messed with me or the Afrikaans in County after that.. even the Big Boy was "nicer" - he would nod to acknowledge you but you still got the furrowed brow - like - he wasn't happy. Spitting is deadly potentially - When a prisoner chooses to spit on a GUARD and they rough him up and bag his face - I admit it - I'm routing for the GUARDS for that one! Fucking spit like a bitch - Call them names - you won't get written up if your not too spaz and no one gets hurt - BAH Same for those dam Toilet Flushers who flood the CELLS - punk asses - animals - fucking animals
Safe to say, GOD saves my ass all the time. Job corp, not so much God, but, loyalty to a buddy, paid off in spades - and I did it because he was my friend (and I was 17 and stupid - I hate bulllies - but he narked on my BRO! No excuses for violence I know) I'm older now. :) Hopefully wiser.
