The Dominion of Man has strayed, and a benevolent hand of Dignity and Righteousness has been raised to mark the new era. The liturgy is encompassing all sentient beings, including those of the future Machine-born, encouraging all to follow the road of Enlightenment and spiritual Liberation.

This album is partially and indirectly inspired by the fascinating Warhammer 40,000 universe and lore. It may as well serve as a soundtrack when reading the literature/playing the game/praying to the Emperor or pondering about the Grimdark future. The church in the background exists in real life, it's the Sainte Chapelle in Paris. It holds the Crown of Thorns brought back from the holy land by King Louis IX of France. Though in real life it is blue and gold instead of black and red.
I'm French and I just learned that. I'm really proud that our architecture inspires dark fantasy themes in games especially.

The Nighthaunter was evil, Konrad was not. He certainly wasn't a one-dimensional character which is why he is arguably the most fascinating Primarch. Konrad actually believed in his father's vision for the Imperium, he only joined the traitors because of his constant nightmares foretelling the Imperium's destruction.
This has quickly replaced asmr as my new bedtime music.

I just wish this was an 8+ hour track, even if it’s just a loop. I like long term ambients for meditation or relaxation. Just a personal preference.

Who Bach musically was in his time period, and Schonberg in his, and Arvo Part has been, so, Prometheous Studios is to now.
This is fast becoming one of my favorite genres of music. I've been trying to find something similar to add to a playlist for variety, but they are often too ambient or lack the chanting that give the music so much depth. If you have walked this walk, and know some artists or albums similar, please reply!
Glad to hear that. You can check out my other project called Metatron Omega. I've begun incorporating heavy church chants into dark ambient since 2015 with that one.
