@dylannichols4072 it sounds like you have the newer GPS version or you have the M1 model and not the M3. The GPS versions are different, try option 5 instead. It shows you how in my M1 video review here th-cam.com/video/niFv0fHEVyk/w-d-xo.htmlsi=mocMUhylOHWiv2zV
I will look into doing that. I am actually filming another review on another HUD at the moment which will be uploaded in a few weeks but that's OBD2 aswell. This HUD is a very simple basic device but it is GPS and it is good so might be what you need th-cam.com/video/AOfrtXDzQQA/w-d-xo.htmlsi=B2lBpwh37HdB8E9p
@sreysopanha7626 if it's a US model 2003, that's right on the crossover change point so possibly not. However this M1 GPS HUD will work on that car no problem th-cam.com/video/niFv0fHEVyk/w-d-xo.htmlsi=_eINoA8gLD_bj2uT
Will this work on a 2014 Ford Fiesta 1.0? Sorry, I'm still new to this whole thing. I'm kind of hesitant to get one since I've been reading some comments saying they get errors on their cars once they connected it to their OBD2.
@blueberrymuffin2860 I've heard of problems with the Fords from others so cannot be certain. The GPS version will definitely work on your car and i can recommend it highly. The M3 GPS version will be very similar to the M1 GPS version which I reviewed a while back th-cam.com/video/niFv0fHEVyk/w-d-xo.htmlsi=Z20pcqvrMjhTpl3- hope that can help you out, all the best
@SHORTwithTECH I see, thank you for the reply. I'll look into it more and see if I'll be able to purchase the M3 model. Just to clarify. As long as it's a GPS version, it'll work, right? Either models will work on the car, yeah?
@SHORTwithTECH I noticed in a video on your channel where you were comparing the M1 and M3. The M1 or USB type has a 1 or 2 KM/H difference compared to the OBD2. Is that normal, or do I have to like set some calibrations on the device?
@blueberrymuffin2860 yes that is normal, you need to calibrate the device to match your particular speedometer in the settings of the device which you can do with the M1 and M3, but the M2 is not adjustable so for this reason i would recommend the M1 or M3 over the M2
@Ostrovskymaksim-ir2pk Nice car! I haven't heard of that problem before. Does your Speedo also have the same problem? If yes then suspect possible faulty wheel speed sensor. @primosebas8033 You will probably need a diagnostic scan tool to get rid of the errors but if that happened just from plugging it in then it could happen again. Don't plug in the device with the ignition turned on either, if that's what you did? Depending on the year of the vehicle, you could try disconnecting the negative battery terminal aswell for 60 seconds but no guarantee that will fix the errors. If your jeep is a 2010 or later, don't try doing that
It’s happens to me a while ago.. it gives so many error, maybe because I plugin the HUD OB2 while the ignition is on. What I did it remove all attached to my car and restart my app. All errors is gone, I will try to plugin again tomorrow while the ignition is off, Hopes nothing happens. 🤞🏼
@droitzer your 100% correct. Never ever plug anything into the OBD2 Socket with the ignition turned on. When the ignition is turned on this wakes up the Canbus. You will definitely get errors doing that and some won't be easy or cheap to get rid of.
Happens to me a while ago, so many errors maybe because I plug in the OB2 while the ignition is on. What I did is I restart my mobile app and unplug everything in my car and it backs to normal. Yes it does support auto brightness. I don't know why it says only gasoline cars on there website, I cannot guarantee it will work with your car, its best to ask the supplier first. @ramdhanid.4188 I don't have alot of experience with Nissan unfortunately but i would expect all Micras from 2007 onwards to work with this device. Do you know how to read live data parameters through your OBD2 port? If you can successfully read the parameters then the problem is with your HUD so open it up and check for poor soldering or bad connections is what i would do. If you cannot read parameters then it means a 2011 Micra is not compatible with this device which is surprising to hear

Not trying to rain in your parade, I think these devices are great, but I am concerned about they being plugged and pulling the data constantly from the ECU...the "brain" of the car so to speak...this could burn the electronic unit? the obd2 port is not made for continuous data pulling after all... just wondering if it's safe to use all the time.
Your Gateway will not burn out, the OBD2 Port is just a communication port. @DanIva-vn7vn 1. Press and Hold the M Button to enter the Settings menu
2. You need the first setting, which is Option 1
3. Now adjust the speed accuracy. e.g if Speedo displays 100Kmh but HUD displays 105Kmh then by default the algorithm should be 105-2=103 so simply change it to what you need.
4. Press and Hold the M Button to Save your changes and Exit
Hope that helps you

I will look into doing that. I am actually filming another review on another HUD at the moment which will be uploaded in a few weeks but that's OBD2 aswell. This HUD is a very simple basic device but it is GPS and it is good so might be what you need th-cam.com/video/AOfrtXDzQQA/w-d-xo.htmlsi=B2lBpwh37HdB8E9p
Can it install on Toyota Camry 2003?
@blueberrymuffin2860 yes, the GPS version is USB Powered so will work on anything, and they work really well just like the OBD2 version

It gave my jeep system park brake and air bag sensor error and check engine light on. As for the hud its working fine. How to fix this?
