Just put my lead frame on yesterday myself got tired of the wrench 🔧 appearing then the gauges lose signal couldn’t tell how fast I was going shit sticking in 5th gear after ford did a recall calibration software update screwed my shit up so I downloaded ForScan Beta(NOT regular ForScan)& update the pcm & all modules that needed updating now everything is running smoothly
I'm working on this dude's 2015 f250 it has the same issue. This is my girl's account obviously she isn't writing this. It's driving me crazy I got to drop the pan tomorrow hopefully I can get the part. Yeah dealerships have always been scummy. Lights are flashing on the PRNDM21. Sometimes it'll start soon as those lights go out completely I can't get the truck to start at all. Driving me fuckin crazy bro. Thanks for making the video. I wish it was like the older trucks where they had it outside where the shifter is on the side of the transmission. However they don't do that anymore.
Here in Iowa the Farmers RELY on pick Up trucks every day. The Ford Dealers are refusing to fix their trucks in some cases (engines bad) leaving farmers without their truck. So Iowa farmers have to buy a Dodge. the Ford Warranty system is failing.
Did you have any symptoms before other than what you showed? My 2015 will run fine but at times at slow speeds, usually when I haven't been driving it very long or right at first startup, will shake like a misfire but no check engine light. I've put two new sets of plugs in and oddly in between the two new sets I put the old ones in and never had this issue. Had a Ford mechanic look at it and he floated the lead frame as a possible problem but I don' t think the symptoms line up (yet)
My 2013 FX4 lead frame shit the bed a month after I bought the truck. Ford has an extended warranty for 2011-14 vehicles with 6r80 trans but it's only valid if the truck is under 10 years old and under 250000km (150000 miles). I got mine replaced for free but it took 5 months to get my truck back.
Had the same issue! Ford are crooks, one of the employees took me behind the counter and told me that we have the part, but they will not sell it to me unless we do the labor. He was not suppose to tell me that. He told me where I could find the part and I went to another honest transmission shop. Most Ford dealerships are crooks! Keep searching for the part! You do not have to get it from ford!

Take scanner and erase codes and your truck will start I promise
I disconnected the positive connection to my battery and left it off 30 minutes. Reconnected and it starts up.
