For testing, we specifically choose a game with an opening FMV or animation to check the optical drive's health. If there are no skips until the end, it means the drive is still healthy.
Here, we use the game “Eretzvaju” or “Evil Zone” in its US version. I prefer collecting original Japanese versions because the US versions often have changes, like the removal of the opening song.
