@@GeorgeHuttonDrums I just watched it again - I think you styled out the stick getting trapped @ 1:25. I didn't notice that before. You create a sweet pregnant pause, then launch into a structured groove - as though it were all part of the plan. Fantastic "recovery".
Thanks bud. Yeah, gotta style those things out. I say to my students all the time "some of the best performances have mistakes in" - you can't give up on the take/gig just because you drop a stick or whatever. Keep going and boss the rest of it. This was one of those moments for me.
@@GeorgeHuttonDrums Honestly not sure it was, having looked a fourth and fifth time. I think you were winding down for a very restrained, quiet section - and were nine tenths of the way there when the stick fluffed. This barely counts as a mistake at all. Having said that, I totally agree that mistakes aren't sinful, and can even be virtuous. "Boss the rest of it" - yes! Exactly.
Thank man! Really appreciate that. And, not a bad idea as well. I might pick my favourites then put them all up on there. You heard Nate Smiths solo drums stuff?
Chef’s kiss!
Thanks bro!!
Your articulation is just so pleasing
Thanks so much buuuuuddy. Really appreciate the kind words and continued support man.
The relief at 1:30 - so good.
Thanks buddy. Had to double check to make sure that wasn't where I finished the solo haha.

Great: super sensitive and uncommonly lyrical - even more so than usual.
Thanks so so much for the mighty praise - means a lot. Have a great day/night :)
