This is a great video!! I love your short form content because it's easier to digest and practice one thing at a time. Also the speed painting with a break in between with instruction was really helpful.

Wow Joe, that's lovely. Surface quality of the cabine is off the scale. Warrants a video in its own right.

The changing light of the day doesn't seem to bother you, how I envy that! Did you ever have problems with that issue or were you blessed with the mental ability to ignore the changes?

Hey that's a good point. It can be difficult to judge when colors are the right brightness because of the changing light. But I relied on pre-mixed batches of paint and a systematic process to keep everything consistent.

there's an artist called makoto shinkai his sunset skies and clouds looks very aesthetic even though the colors are very unrealistic. how would i go about studying how he achieve that. do you have a way of studying for achieving a certain look?

Re-Minded me to a lot of things i‘ve forgotten over time due to just practicing them not often enough. Time to do it now, before it’s gone again, thx!
    Btw
Anything you paint looks eatable like 🍭. How’s that 4 a compliment?
How about making a video called: How to make EVERYTHING look eatable 😂

Yeah- seems like over the years - he’s really went from 3D realistic amazing to mediocre-
Can you understand when he explains?
Like his surface waves parts 1-3 from years ago- I find it very difficult to understand him-
Like this video- he’s got a very high speed time lapse- where you can’t see anything only shapes of color building up- (filling in) and then he’s sitting at the easel with a building structure- and filling it in with what appears to be trees??
      The editing doesn’t make sense!?
      Am I missing something?
At the end when camera is showing the final scene - it appears the foreground is not in perspective- the road is tilted- the snow (land seems off) the midsection- and the trolly - lift lines too high- up on canvas

Joe your one heck of a guy that’s difficult to understand!!! Even your editing here in this video!!!
Watch some of your videos like the surface waves- multiple times and it’s so frustrating- something about how you try to explain--
Now seeing this!! Lol what’s going on- a time lapse where you can’t see anything- only color shapes building up- can’t make out what it is- then flips over to you sitting at the easel-
With a building structure- filling in time lapsed with what maybe trees??!!

Over a Decade of Watching you. You have a Talent of explaining the Physics behind it. But your Paintings have not Improved. Compared to Andrew Tischler, it is still "Children Color books". The Snow Theme looked very out of Proportion for the Schooled Eye. I Think you lost Motivation, WHY??? Would you make a Video about that? I was a Great Mural Artist, but their is no Future/ Money in it. Got Sick of Painting the Ideas of Mor22ns for their Dive Shop.
You also seem to have lost interest int the Arts, with all this A.I. and "Modern Art" Trash Scams around.
