Marinilla, the town before El Peñol, was founded by Jewish Families escaping from Inquisition. Also there, they were reach by Inquisition but nowadays keep many traditions from those days.
seeing you more and more sweaty after every "a few minutes later" cut was hilarious LOL.. that seemed like a tough climb :D i love your colombia vlogs man. definitely a place i want to visit. keep up the great job i love learning about different cultures and places
Another excellent video! It was beautiful there and so clean! Would love to see those sites in person. Waiting for the next one! Stay safe! G-d Bless!!!
What an adventure, Shloime - you really know how to pack a lot of variety into a day. The views are truly incredible and it's so heartwarming to see your sensitivity for the hard-working and less fortunate people. You have shown, by example, the essence of what religion and faith are REALLY about; speaking for myself, you have done what I thought was impossible - you have enabled me to restore a connection and an appreciation for my roots.
This is true for me as well Dave. He causes me to have an appreciation for my roots as a Jew. I feel connected to my people and to the stories that he shares. He really is a beautiful example of Compassion and kindness. I just love his authenticity.
@@beverlystickney3289 Beautifully written, Beverly; I could not have expressed it any better and it is reassuring to see that we are not alone in how this terrific human being has spiritually touched out lives. Thank you for sharing!
Shloime now we see how hard you're working to make vlogs. I don't know how many people are able to climb up this rock. Best wishes, keep on the good work 👏 THANK YOU VERY MUCH.
Congratulations on the steep climb! It was a beautiful view. I enjoyed the zocalos, the umbrellas for shades, the boat tour And the kosher dogs! 😊 I also always wanted a poncho from Guatemala. I heard the tamales are really good. I wonder if it possible to get a kosher version if them?
Columbia looks like a beautiful country at least the part you are visiting! Awesome views from the rock, loved the carvings at the bottom of the homes and businesses but the ones on the steps were my favorites! Interesting history about the town that was flooded. Great travels and stay safe! Gut Shabbos!
Actually there’s been study made in Colombia of the genetics of people in Antioquia Medellin and there’s many who had sefardi dna but in the reconquista they were converted to Christianity .
@@ShloimeZionce I love that. You telling me is my blessing for today. Thank you. I learn so much from you Shloime. I really love all your posts. I’m glad you’re in the world.
Wow, Shloime. Can't believe you climbed the stairs on that rock. There's no way I would have attempted it. I'm afraid of heights. I froze climbing the stairs at Masada. Never would have made it to the top without a friend walking alongside me.
I really enjoyed this vlog. I myself would be a little apprehensive to travel to Columbia. I was curious about a few things. Who owns the rock? What was your motivation to travel to Columbia? Is it possible for you to give us further explanation about kosher foods? I believe I know( somewhat ) I think your viewers would like to know as well. I was worried about the altitude at the rock. It must be quite high above sea level. Thank you for a very entertaining video. And as a dog lover I thank you for sharing your precious kosher food with the two stray dogs. What a nice adventure you went on. Thank you! And by the way, because of your channel I have just subscribed to AMI .
Greetings Shloime from Los Angeles , 🙏🙋Nice tour although it was a though climb up there lol , a little tip wherever you travel try not to use your credit or debit card much , get the local currency exchange from vendors in the street ,your bank here in the US will charge you about high percent as well as the country you visit , I hope you do some latin American travel !
Hey bro it looks like they don’t bother you too much about the mask when you’re outside, does that sound right? I have a bit of an issue breathing in them and don’t like to use outside, trying to get as clear a picture before I get there next week
I love you content, and I have always enjoyed watching you. Please do not glorify a mass murderer. Pablo Escobar was a very bad person. Its like buying touristy stuff with Hitler and t shirts with Holocaust survivors..

I recently started watching you and your guys religious and I’m interested in it
You are really sweet when it comes to supporting local artisans and people.

What did you say before you took a sip of the fruit drink (which looked delicious)wonderful travel vlog! Thank you

You can find kosher food in Bogota, the capital !!!
Which credit card you think is the best for point or cash back travel ?
Hello! Are these videos being filmed now or from a little while?
I love your spirit.
Hi! they were filmed in April 2021. Thanks for your kind words

well when you said climbing I thought it was real climbing but it is a good exercise anyway.
Colombian kosher dogs, love it..lol

Your best videos are when u meet strange people that are funny.
El peñol is supposed to be one of the meteorite that formed the gulf of Mexico and caused extinction of the dinosaurs.
The chicharrones are kosher
Good shit Shloime! Now climb Monserrate!
Did you pick up any Columbia ladies?
Please tell the truth?
Jewish people are very welcome in Colombia
Is there anyone in that country that’s not trying to scam you? Yeah we need more of them here. Let them all in joe
People were actually really nice
Have you ever been to a tourist destination lol? It's like that everywhere. Vegas just scams you at the hotel bars with $20 cocktails

I agree. I love Shloimy but I was very surprised by this.
