As for the water, the IRL Colosseum has the plumbing to do it. IRL it was flooded twice (that can be proven) for full naval battles. Roughly called the naumachia and the naumachiae.
I'll probably watch because Denzel & Pedro are in it. Judging by the trailer, the plot of the movies seems chaotic. Also, it looks like switched the actor for the character of Lucius. Too bad they couldn't bring back the original actor to play that character as an adult 😕
