Some fool left their car near the edge not knowing how the tides work. Didn't get washed away but the sea salt did a lot of damage to the paint work.

Some poor unsuspecting people will end up buying pre owned cars, not knowing the interior subframes have had sea water damage ! Hence most cars on the coast are rot boxes. If you are buying a used vehicle from anywhere, then it's worth it to get a camera survey inside the sub frame/chassis.

Not even the risk of them being swept away but they could be dashed against the wall or fencing, very silly.
I recall walking along the lower promenade and a wave coming over my head just near here 😂
