I could watch it for hours ! How could I miss this incredible video for 4 years !? Wonderful. I miss my North Sea💖❗ and the🌊🌊🌊 and Storms ! Thank you very much indeed for this experience (Video). So, hope you always stay save when the next storm surge comes and with COV19 in 2021. 🤗
If you don't know it it's a metal statue about ten feet high dedicated I believe to the victims of Belsen concentration camp. You'd have to google it to find out more.
@@bradandfudge Oh thank goodness, I thought that it was someone contemplating suicide. I'am so happy to hear that I was wrong, thank you for the information!!
Ask the statue if he would like a break. If he says yes then get him a coffee sandwich. Tell him no pay for time off the sea.😊😅😂 Oh I do like to be beside the seaside
Watching this during COVID isolation. Magnificent video, the power of that sea.. it was like some elemental being! I hope you didn’t suffer anything worse than wet socks. Thank you.
It’s a shame in a way that the council built the new sea wall with wave breaking rocks , before with the old sea wall it was a spectacular sight on the point in rough weather !
The road runs along the Base of cliffs and is 100's of years old... it's in the UK. . Not sure the time of day.... what is interesting is if you look at the waves from 0:45 onwards to just over 2:00 they are not approaching the shoreline but are being blown 90' parallel with it! Hope this answers your questions

bradandfudge even more poignant. I thought it someone who was surely contemplating life.

@@Here_Today_ I thought so too Mona.

a great video of my favourite coastal resort....the power of the sea just amazes me....
This is balm to my coastal expat soul. I can’t get to the coast very often.
The sea bed at Scarborough is relatively flat. Imagine if it were steeper like the Atlantic coastline. You wouldn't be able to get so close...gr8 vid.
At 38.00 are they Norman ruins up on that hill? The Scarborough Lily is named after Scarborough, even though it doesn't naturally occur there.
Such am amazing murky colour is the sea. Thanks for making this vid.
Yes, it's filthy, thats why it's that colour. 😕
I like your video... I love watching stormy ocean
Just asking a qary is Scarborough sea front a safe place for living in during storm weather high strong waves.
Das ist Balsam für die Seele 🤝👍👍👍👍👍👍
Is this road built on reclaimed land? Wave breaker perhaps?
What time of day was this?
Which country?

Why was that person just sitting there on the bench getting soaked by the ocean waves? Seems strange to me!
Maybe they just get a buzz out of the power of the sea and isolation. It's not odd at all.
It’s a statue
Tooooo close for comfort. I'd love to live by the sea but not THAT lose. Great video, thanks.
It's nothing to be afraid of. The sea is beautiful to watch.
The Sea has such a bad temper.....
