【Ingredients】
Potato - 500g
Onion - 1/2
Cucumber - 1
A pinch of salt
Ham - 20g
Boiled egg - 2
Mayonnaise - 4tbsp
(Brack pepper)

The Kyoto dialect is one of the most elegant and beautiful dialects even for native Japanese speakers like me. I was born in Tokyo, so the way Moe is really really cute💓 Moto speaks Japanese with very standard Tokyo accent, so Moe laughs that Sutan's "You're amazing"sounds just like Moto would say it😆😆😆

it's absolutely crazy how much Sutan has grown! When I first started watching the channel all she could do was make faces and babble (which of course was super cute), but now she's talking in full sentences, expressing her own thoughts and feelings, and sitting on a grownup chair with Moe! Such an amazing family, it's a joy to watch them.

@@onetime5640 you haven't seen mine. At her age even now. Raw okra, bell peppers, green beans, carrots, pretty much all vegetables. Use refuse meat any form. Now loves eat fish, chicken pork, beef and crabs 😆 she a expensive child. Then there my son a chicken and potato eater. Only my mom special soup has sweet potatoes, carrots she sneaks in all vegetables purees it and chicken. Tried chucks but didn't work

Potato salad is one of my favorite comfort food. The recipe my family does is to put in a bit of fruit bits to balance the flavors. Small chunks of apples for some crunch, or instead of that we also sometimes use pineapples or raisins!
I'm a southern USA. The basics of salad, isn't any different then how I make it. Typically you will see it with a sweet relish(diced up sweet pickle), never seen it with ham or cucumber.
@@spencers4121 I wish I can get pickle relish easily here in Japan! I really want to use it in some recipes, like homemade tartar sauce. Anyway yeah, they usually mash the potatoes in their potato salad and leave some chunks. Then they scoop it up like ice cream and serve it on a bed of lettuce. They sometimes add corn in it as well!
And here salad is very food and first little bit wine is added to the raw potato then after 15 min it's out to get fried then the spices are added it's very tasty

That brought some fond memories. In the USA we have many different recipes depending on each family. Ours did not use vinegar, ham or cucumbers but celery and smaller onion pieces. It was served in the summertime at picnics and barbeques making a great substitute for potato chips. Very nice.

two days ago, I was just talking about the amazing potato salad my father used to make - a popular holiday crowd-pleaser. (My Aunt had brought some horrible store-made potato salad and asked me if it was good- that sparked the memory of my father's dish.) This video is so coincidental.
Always get those family favorite recipes from your parents and grandparents, so that you'll always have them and can still enjoy that person's work.
Home made potato salad is a traditional Christmas Eve dish in my home country. I made it last year for my partner as we could not visit our families. Watching this video made me think of him eating all the ham while I was cooking 🙈

That looks delicious. 😋 I’ve never tried cucumbers in my potato salad, I just put celery, sweet pickles, boiled eggs, mayo, mustard, vinegar and a little paprika on the top. You have the sweetest little helper, so adorable. 💕
FRI-SAT Mornings are so exciting. A thought that you must have uploaded literally gives me so much happiness.
For easy potato peeling, I like to immediately rinse them in cold water once they are done, since it is a cold dish, should be a good idea to speed things up :)

My 15 year old sister: suffers depression because she was served some carrots.
We have this salad as well in Romania. It is called "salată orientală". We make it with pickled cucumbers, onion, egg, vinegar and, of course, boiled potato. My mom always puts fish in it, although I haven't heard of anyone else do so here haha. My family loves it as much as yours! Greetings and lots of love 💓

Oh my, potato salad is one of my favourite dishes ever! :D However in Poland we do it a little differently. Of course people have own recipes for doing it but in my house we put potatoes, peas, cooked carrots, apples, salt, pepper and mayo and we mix it together. It's so yummy!
