Just made this for dinner tonight and it was a success! So delicious! I added a spoonful of powdered coconut milk, used soy sauce instead of worcestershire, and instead of veg juice I julienne cut a small apple, still turned out amazing! Family loved it, chicken breast always tastes good. Thanks for the recipe as always Moe and Sutan!
I'm planning to make it with your ingredients substitute, but how's the instant coffee? Still skeptical about coffee in curry😅

@@senadzri some people use cocoa powder, it really enhance the flavours of curry, just like instant coffee does
What a great parenting! I was a trained preschool teacher and during my time teaching I found so many parents that were basically clueless on how to “communicate properly” with their children. You in the other hand, always listen and reason well with Sutan without using the “You’re a kid, so you can’t do this” card. I really enjoyed the video! Can’t wait to make the curry btw ;)

I can't believe I just made Japanese curry from scratch! I used to make katsu curry using store bought roux but it's not always available from where I live. One of my most favourite things: Curry! 😋 My grandpa and grandma were both Indian, so I grew up eating their range of curries they'd come up with. It was good, authentic curry that he'd cook for hours in a massive pot for our entire family when we'd visit every weekend. Sadly, both my grandpa and grandma are no longer around, so there's no more of the awesome curries they'd make for us to enjoy! Watching both you and Sutan (she's super adorable!) cook together is the best thing ever! You truly are a superb mum who's raised a fantastic daughter who enjoys everything that you do!

Once upon a time I live in Japan early 80's then migrated here in United States residing in San Francisco California since 1990 Nihon no kotobawa natsukashi kikimas.. Watching no namaewa Rowena des yuroshiku onegaitemas. I wanted to go back to Japan again if I got a chance to enjoy life

I'll definitely try this curry recipe. It seems lighter than curries I've seen from other countries. One thing I won't find in my region is shiso leaves, but I'd replace them with spinach, at least to get something green into the filling. I can tell she was confused how her want was directed and she was at the same time, being praised and yet told no. It’s so interesting to see!! I don’t even watch children but I still take notes when watching you be a lovely mother!! Sutan seemed a little upset and sensitive after that incident but she was still making jokes!!
