Yeah. I cried for like a month straight. Mrs. Doubtfire has been my favorite movie since I was a kid. I've watched it at least twice a year since it came out.

@@EvanRockwell1 I believe they should reboot Mrs Doubtfire with a female lead. In that movie the actress should take up the disguise of an old man. With good prosthetic makeup and a nice story it would be a hit. Will also be a great homage to Robin Williams. Please suggest an actress who can play that role.

They shot a few scenes, literally, like 2 blocks away from where I was working at the time which was in North Beach, San Francisco. So I would watch them shoot some scenes while not knowing what or who I was watching. And when my friends asked who I saw I said, "Idk I just kept seeing some old lady!" Lol! I finally saw Robin out of wardrobe one day and waived to him;) The End.

@@thedude8009 It was actually 1 block and 2 blocks away because I watched them twice. It was nothing new really lots of filming goes on in San Francisco. They filmed a scene of The Net with Sandra Bullock in a building I was working in downtown, I was an extra in The Doors movie with Val Kilmer, and they used to shoot the TV show Nash Bridges all over South of Market so we ran in to Don Johnson and who ever else was in that show quite a bit. And there was a popular trail that lead down to a beach that was actually in the empty lot right next to Robin Williams house, super low-key.
San Francisco used to be so cool now its a shit hole. Thanks for allowing me to reminisce.🙂

@@juniorsir9521 I'm surprised that the three kids in the picture didn't go on to have bigger careers in film- they are articulate, clever, have a nice screen presence and could have transitioned into adult roles easily I feel.

I don't know that Robin ever really grasped how much the world loves him. I say loves bc we still love him and miss him dearly. I find it difficult to watch his movies and not cry at the end. He is free now and we will never forget the brightness and joy he brought to all of us.
Beyond glad the sequel was never made, this is a Classic film and could never be repeated. RIP Robin, you are a true star.

Yeah, so sad and true that the magic of makeup and prosthetics in film is dwindling due to heavy use of CGI - like in Beauty & the Beast. They did no makeup on him, and the beast looked very computer animated

I don't think ANYONE will be able to play an old woman like that, and make it so believable like Robin did. You would swear that was a real old woman. Robin was such a genius. He left us way to soon. He brought so much joy to millions, and millions of people. We love you Mr. Williams. We all miss you.

RIP Robin Williams😖..... I really enjoyed his more serious roles he played. 💖 What a talented man. Depression is rough people.
He was diagnosed with dementia when he took his life.
I can’t not get emotional every time I watch his roles or behind the scenes or just Robin! I felt like he was at every family gathering that how much he meant to everyone
I miss him so much, everytime I watch TV and see his movies am still watching it from the start to end. And even I've watched his movies so many times, especially the Mrs. Doubtfire movie.😥 RIP Robin Williams.
The only celebrity whose ever died and I felt like I'd lost a family member. Seems ridiculous but I felt a closeness to his characters, and he himself was such a good person with philanthropy for homeless and the like. Maybe because he reminds me of my uncle.. I don't know.

I loved how as a kid I believed he could put on and take off 3+ hours of makeup in an instant like a pullover mask. :D Amazing job to Ve Neill and the makeup team. Seeing Robin in interviews and behind the scenes is bittersweet. What an absolute treasure he was.

She reminds me of my mother in law. She was Pentecostal and I was in a gay relationship with her son. I was always treated with respect and I returned it in kind. I miss her. I miss game night at there home. Sadly She did not live to see us get married. I miss Robin Williams. RIP you are missed.

Robin Williams had no "off-switch". He just kept going on and on and never stopped making us laugh. I can imagine what it was like behind the scenes of not just Mrs. Doubtfire, but every movie he ever made! This world has become a cold, dark place since his passing.

I received a transplant from someone who had mental health issues. They self harmed and died. I’m so sad for the person and their family but so grateful that this wonderful person has given me and others life xxx

I remember Robin from way back in Mork and Mindy. He was an awesome actor in everything he did. In fact, I think he was such a good actor that he used it to hide his personal troubles. You can see it behind the scenes. He's in character all the time, never letting his guard down as to whats going on inside, ever.
Its too late now, and even though the world understands depression and mental illness a lot more, its seriously upsetting that we couldn't help Robin before it was too late.
