    Watching the color shift in the copper with the torch was super cool.

    You have talent up the whazoo and the patience of a saint! I can’t wait for the next episode. It’s also very refreshing to see a workshop that doesn’t look like a surgery 👏🏼👍🏼✌🏼

      The workshop is a disaster zone, I just get too carried away with getting the ideas out of my head and onto wood, metal, bone... whatever is to hand and forget to tidy up.
      Thanks, I'm not sure about the patience... I edit out the hours of swearing and glaring menacingly at whatever is on the bench.

    A recent study showed that rubbing copper on your hands is more effective at anti-bacterial qualities then hand sanitizer. so you have made the most hygenic guitar ever! ;-) Great video!

    Your builds are insanely unique. Your patience and persistence knows no bounds. I would love to know how many hours you have but in to this build by the time it's finished. Oneof my favourite builders. And now full-screen videos too! Great pickups you made for Chris @ king bespoke

    So much detail, wow. I was seriously tensed up while you were cutting, drilling and filing the copper. Its not like you can just glue a bit back in with a bit of dust and supper glue if you make a mistake.
    Alos those pickups you made for KBC are outstanding. Again the attention too detail!

    Insane brother! You have an amazing mind for design. I can execute a lot of things but how you come up with this stuff is brilliant. I haven't even started carving the top and back yet on mine. I'm beginning to get nervous. Most importantly Ant, this guitar is a work of art. You may need to change your slogan to "Made to be adored"

    • @4thAvenueGuitars
      @4thAvenueGuitars  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Thankyou. To be honest, a lot of my 'design ideas' come from trying to avoid doing something in a way that frightens me... If it hasn't been done before, I can't do it wrong. Carving a proper hollow archtop is still something that I find incredibly daunting. Admittedly, beating it out of copper instead of carving it is a bit like, avoiding unlocking my front door to go to the shop by climbing over my neighbour's roof, fashioning a glider from chimney pigeons and tv aerials and hoping I land in the right place. haha.

    As to routing copper - death wish or steel testes... Best to guard against testes wishing to be steel; this last model, of mistaken thinking, is generally fixed at the first finger loss. Ask me how I know.

    • @4thAvenueGuitars
      @4thAvenueGuitars  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah, looking back at how close my hands were was a bit scary. I was definitely VERY careful to know where my fingers were, making sure I had a good grip and ready to just let go if it kicked back at all.
