  • In this video we're taking a look at a knife attack where the person has attached to you first with the other hand (a common occurrence) and is keeping you from efficiently addressing the knife arm.
This is just one option/concept to keep in mind. If I can't efficiently address the knife arm, and assuming you can't just run, addressing the support arm is crucial. Here we're looking at a few variations of simply bypassing the support arm to take the back for control.
    See what you think!

Endeavor Defense & Fitness Absolutely man, I’m a purple belt under Gustavo machado and I love your videos. Can’t thank you enough for sharing such well thought out concepts. It’s the fundamentals and primary principles that keep you safe in the worst situations, and your understanding of control and the fundamental priorities in the worst situation someone can be in might save someone’s life someday. God bless you and everyone at Endeavor defense and fitness brother keep it up

One of the first the videos that addresses the use of the leverage arm.
So many knife attacks happen that way.

I realize by having dreadlocks I’m extra vulnerable to that grab.
