Matt personally, no. He’s Catholic, he believes people should be tried in the court of law, or before God. In the shows context, To him, if he kills it will just make him the devil not daredevil
No. If he kills once it's only a matter of time before he does it again and then someone would have to take him out to get him to stop (either kill or capture). On one hand, he struggles because of his religious upbringing, and on the other hand, he was raised to be a soldier. As we all know soldiers are trained to kill when it calls for it.

Matt definitely didn’t want to kill Nubo. It was a fortunate accident that saved Matt’s life. Fisk though, he definitely wanted to kill him because I think Matty thought he was checking out at the moment and wanted to take Fisk down with him. Really love your DareDevil reactions, guys ❤️.

I love Father Lantom's village elder story it gave me goosebumps the first time, Father Lantom is a support character without much screentime done right he doesn't fight, isn't flashy but works really well

reminds me of some of the great monologues in the haunting of hill house! not using a flashback scene, but instead just listening to the actor as they tell the story can be so powerful

I love the part with Wilson Fisk on the tv, making it appear as if he is Satan whispering in Matt’s ear, the “devil on your shoulder” imagery.

The internal conflict of the question of how far should Matt go is always a main issue with this character. This is the driving force of the story . This is also the conflict of many of Marvel’s characters this will be expanded in season 2 and the other Netflix shows.
Given your discussion at the end of this episode I think you guys will very much enjoy season 2, or the beginning at least
episode 10 is one of my favorites, which is really saying something considering how great the show is overall!!

Look at my man Matt! He was fighting Nobu, one of the best h2h fighters and had a weapon that Matt couldn’t do anything because he didn’t had armor or his Billy Club (You’ll see those later) and after that all injured he had to fight the Kingpin, arguably the strongest normal human in Marvel (not enhanced or with powers. It’s either him or Frank Castle) and Matt still got away alive. I mean, Matt is peak human and this show was very inconsistent of that but still his peak human body and indomitable will is amazing.
And Kingpin, he is so freaking smart…in this episode he did so much with making a trap for Matt and then taking care of Nobu at the same time.
Yeah Matt can be really charming when he wants to, but I really love Foggy, he's such a great friend
I can see merit to both arguments. Comic books try to tackle that idea of whether one man can make a difference and it usually boils down to "yes and no". Yes in that he can inspire others to fight for change but also no, in that he needs the ppl behind him to truly make a difference. Matt faces the same problems Batman does where they're in an environment that's rotten to the core. It all comes down to saving one life at a time and making change that way, it's often a slow process and lives might be lost along the way but that's the best way because if he kills Fisk then he makes him a martyr. It's an interesting debate but don't worry, next season will not only challenge both ideologies but also give a face to them.

if they were smart they'd hire anyone they could from the netflix series and let them do their thing, keep the opening theme even and just continue the show but that's not gonna happen unfortunately as it seems the characters are different. Daredevil was one of my favorite shows on Netflix and the first season of Jessica Jones (I wasn't so much a fan of the second season).

I love how you guys try so hard not to swear 😂 but honestly, as someone who comes from a military family, if Matt did kill, he'd do it for the right reasons. Yes it will change you, but how you handle that change, is what separates you from the animals. But I'd like to ask this: If you were a vigilante, and you saw a man harming a child in an alleyway. What would you do? Knowing that our justice system isn't perfect. Fruit for thought.
I really love the conversation you guys are having after that episode. It makes me feel like I know you guys are "good" TV watchers. Because these are the questions that the show brings up; rather than focusing on what will come next or a straight recap
Also I agree with man on right, thinking that you could not cross this line you feel like is on crossable and be this vigilante that takes on such a big bad. Maybe everyone who's a criminal under the level of Wilson Fisk can be taken out with your fist without having to resort to murder, that you could take them out with your fist and get them by the law, but this is not one of those cases.
Also the major hahas I had when you said this place is horrible which is why they call it hell's kitchen. These are the times it's always so clear when somebody is distinctly not from New York and probably has never been 😂 that area IS just hell's kitchen. The whole place could be leveled and shrine to Gandhi put in the center of it, and that area is still hell's kitchen. It's just a neighborhood.
So in some sense it's just bad luck that such a big bad like Wilson fisk had to be focused on this tiny little square of New York City AND that's also the part that Daredevil gives a shit about. If Wilson was determined to fix up... I don't know, the area of Brooklyn near Coney island, dardevil may never have even encountered him!

The case of this Tennant is similar to many in Poland during the reprivatization era like the case in 2011 Woman was burned alive back then. There were basically threats to people, rising rents, and people were thrown out of their tenements
