What is the engine featured in this train? I’ve never heard of the steam locomotive or what railroad is on the tender is that a possibly a new Haven locomotive?
yup. that engine 1265 wasn't there the last time I was there. it might've been in the shop for mandatory inspections. it appears to be a military version of a Baldwin S-8. as I recall, it was powered by a caterpillar 3208 V-8. we were pulled by alco S-1 #600. I missed the 'snow train' this year because commitments to the VA. I don't know if you do, but you can sign-up for e-mails as to their activities.

Nice job. Please upload more footage if possible
the steamers, 3 of them won't be running for the forseeable future. FRA regs are the hold-up.
