Just watched another video mentioned about California emission issues on pump or tank problems, dealer warranties extend for 15 years unlimited mileage.
Searching on Amazon for 2008 e350 low emissions fuel pump part result, a picture of an unit come up look like the fuel filter on left side behind the driver seat. On the description of the picture said this is a electric fuel pump and it is on the left side.
Getting a fuel pump to fit the car is not the problem the problem is how to get the old fuel pump out and install a new fuel pump it has not openings on passenger side I'm thinking I'm gonna cut out a hole on passenger side where the fuel pump would normally be and pull out the pump and replace with one that is compatible and just make a cover or use the one I cut out seal it up nice a tight and see what happens I pulled the tank out yesterday I'll make a video of what I'm gonna do with the tank later today thanks for your comment
I did not I'm gonna go down to the wrecking yard and get a regular tank with the two openings and replace the fuel pump and sending unit and install in the car and call it a day
@@showtimecustoms9384you'll have to make some modifications and after all check engine light will come on for compatiblety issue. Another dude cut the tank open to solve this issue
Update on fuel pump removal and replace it's been about a week and the car is running great no check engine light and no fuel smell at all and it passed smog check no problem
