The new gt looks great I love it. But I think the previous one had a more special and sporty interior with alot of physical buttons. The adjustment knob for traction control was just awesome.

@Fluterra Don't think you or anybody else I know can compare themselves to me when it comes to Mercedes, I owned at least 22. I currently I a E53 cabriolet, GLS450, C300, GLC300, CLK430, CLK500 in my driveway as we speak. In the market to get a G63 or the Amg GT C or this new one.
I think they finally have a competitor for the buyer who is stuck between wanting the performance and unique design of a Porsche 911, but don’t want to miss out on the Mercedes Luxury. This car is gonna be a legend!
@@IRaoulDuke there are cars more Luxurious than a 911, but given the 2. 911 is quality but you would be insane to think there is no quality in a Mercedes as well. I’m speaking from experience. I took a ride in a 23’ 911 Turbo S and I will not deny it is superb. Being a owner of 2 new Mercedes, CLS and GLE , after giving my friend a ride in mines, he purchased the GLE63 Coupe for his sister and then got himself the 911 Turbo S and Cayenne Turbo as well. I’m speaking from recent experience.

I like how the taillights match the daytime driving lights. However, I thought the interior of the previous GT was more unique. I agree. They just copied and pasted it over from the SL. It's still very nice!
2015 version is all class and timeless, while this is a very good revamp/rethink of the original. First thing that caught my eye was the BMW Z4 (G29) shape headlamps..

I love the exterior; it looks absolutely stunning. The speedometar is also in a box, which is nice, rather than the stupid plain screen, it looks more like a car.
I own a 2017 AMG GTS and in viewing the comparative side views of the new vs my 2017,I still feel my 2017 has a more classic shape. But it's all personal preferences, so of course some will disagree with me. Love the fold down seats and 4matic in the 6.3. Don't like how they removed some of the character of the older version on one hand, but made the centre screen and steering wheel a bit too complex/busy. BTW, the maintenance on my GTS has been low because the car is that well built, having owned the car since 2019...and the biturbo on this puppy is superb!
Looks great. I like the 4x4, l like the extra seats and boot space. Not sure about the over complicated i-pad just stuck there and the illuminated interior tho. Looks like a 911 almost. Sounds great too
