  • He might not be a household name but for many cycling fans EF Education-EasyPost sports director Andreas Klier is a living legend. Renowned for his next-level knowledge of every cobbled sector from the Tour of Flanders and Paris-Roubaix, Andreas is only too aware that professional cycling demands complete dedication. To be in this game you have to give all you’ve got so away from the races he seeks relief amid the peace and quiet of his art studio. In this film we find out what keeps Andreas riding today and why painting is a part of his life in the peloton, not an escape from it.

    If you watch the Y/tube Ronde races Andreas Klier's calmness in the midst of racing is striking. His leadership style is easy to rally around making him the exemplar of cool. Learning from this vid about his painting output demonstrates his left and right brain thinking and the clarity it lends cycling

    Clearly a cerebral type of DS, the subtle encouragement and getting the riders to believe in themselves.

    Klier never raced clean, he started charging as a junior. At least, JV, you’re honest and not pretending.

    Is it just me or NONE of the racers seem to even have the slightest interest while he yap and yap ?
    I’m sure this explains why this team is going nowhere…
    I know how to lose. Yep! and your transferring that vibe to your team.

      I’ve noticed this about all cycling DS huddles. They are all like this. Very unmotivational bc they are dealing with super humans.

      @@traderz13 Appears I’m out of the loop. Thanks for the update. At this point, they should update their website since he’s all over different parts of it. I definitely turn to their website for sponsor information more frequently than cycling weekly.

      Why should he have been dropped, he is currently not even a suspect? Am I missing something?

    • @Bayplaces
      @Bayplaces 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Penalist I think most reasonably people would consider him highly responsible for exposing Mo to what happened. And this is just my opinion, but it seems likely that Armstrong would be in custody had he told investigators everything he knew immediately.

      @@Bayplaces Then these ‘ most reasonably people’ should learn to reason by the facts and not by what they feel to be reasonable.
