This is a simple demonstration of how to replace a faulty motor in a Piko large scale locomotive. Techniques apply to all the variations of the three drive axle locos currently sold by Piko.
It was probably an open winding, but don't remember doing much testing on the old motor before I through it away. Anyway, it was dead when voltage was applied directly to it.
