I assumed this whole time that you had a huge audience (like 500k+) because I watch you on my roku and don't see the numbers well. Only realized you weren't when I saw you being thrilled about a donation during a stream.
My dude, you deserve so many subscribers. You do such a great job, and you bring an energy to your videos that's unmatched for me. It amazes me how creators like you can spend so much time pushing the games mechanics to see how far we can go with different tasks. I wouldn't have the patience/knowledge to try and even begin to figure it all out. Kudos!

After many hours of completing dream light dailies I finally got 16 gardening buddies. Woody and I took off to my Pumpkin biome. Woody was off to a wonderful start of throwing out +2 pumpkins... but then to my horror, Woody under performed and threw out a +1.

I have 16 gardening buddies all level 10 but only get +2?
@@mykenzielarson3995 That's what you should have per MrStarInSkys video. You get +1 pumpkins from your character pulling and your farming buddy will pull pumpkins with +2 on them. So when you go to harvest with your gardening buddy you'll collect a total of 3 pumpkins per pull :)

You’re incredible. Continuously amazing content. 100% triple drops in farming is incredible, but I find Iron, not coins, to be the most rare resource. Would I benefit from having 16 miners?

I tried this theorie on mining and it worked, made 16 miners and now every mining spot gives 100% bonus mostly is +2 and a rare +3 but only on the last hit.. After a round in the Glade and Valor I mined 12 spots and had 25 iron ore... 😂

I harvest 700 pumpkins with 20 gardener buddie roles and I pick up 2916 pumpkins.
Is there any way to obtain extra wood flowers stone when gathering them? I would think those things would fall respectively with buddies (digging wood stumps) (mining rock piles) or (gathering flowers or fallen sticks) .

You can earn dreamlight for fishing, catching certain fish & fishing in specific areas so many times.
I don't know how many gardeners I have at 10, but I get guaranteed 4 pumpkins per harvest, and sometimes their drop gives me 9 pumpkins.
I wish they gave us cooking buddies
Ok, so at first I got really excited until you kept adding more gardeners. If you want more pumpkins just grow more. I do 500 each time and make close to a mill each collection. If you make too many gardeners you lose out of having enough miners which is also important to have extra drops for iron. I feel you with the loss of dreamlight though lol, I lost most of mine making large chests. It was cool though you went through that to test for the rest of us. 💜
I don't think he would have done this if it weren't for testing purposes to share the results.

I have 16 gardeners, all level 10, when i collect pumpkins dropped from my farmer they are all 2's is that correct ?
That’s correct, when you have 16 gardener buddies you have guaranteed 2 drops per each pumpkin, when you have more then 16 the 3 drops start to come.
I plant 700 pumpkins and have 20 gardener buddies, they drop 2 drop pumpkins guaranteed but also 3 drops, in total I collect very near to 3000 from that 700 pumpkins.
What I mean is, at 16 you pick up a pumpkin and your buddies pumpkin counts for 2, with more then 16 farming buddies, some pumpkins from buddies start to count for 3.
I’m at seven and I get the odd to drop which I’m fine with
I bring Merlin and get 500,000 once a day from one pumpkin crop
Idk why but this didn't work for me. I'm still getting mostly +1 on my drops and I have 16 farmers at level 10
The paths that dont join drives me nuts. Im forever trying to hide green grass!
So does the same math work for all specialties? Or how many friends is the best amount for each activity (mining, fishing etc)
I would guess they're coded similarly.

I just had a thought. When Ariel first gets on land and you can assign her a task, fishing isn't one of them. For obvious reasons. Can you make her learn fishing with the books?

Does anyone know if we have a time limit when picking up the x2 or x3 farming drops or can you finish harvesting then go back and get them all?
They keep lying around but after a minute they stop glowing and then you have to pick them up manually.

I understand that they will probably be adding lots of villagers in the future. However, since we craft training manuals, why can't villagers remember their previous training? Maybe we should be able to stack roles. I think it could work if they made special training manuals that were even more expensive.

A triple drop includes the one your character harvests as well as guaranteed +2 that your companion drops. 😊

There is actual math behind this. You get 5x the level of your actual companion with you, (Max 50%) plus 1x the level of all the other buddies that do that task (so max 10% per). So with 6 maxed companions, you have 50% + (5 x 10)% resulting in 100% chance of extra drops. To get up to 200% u need exactly 16. Could have saved you a lot of dreamlight because it is a known formula lol. You would need 26 for 300%.
Damn, well I wanted triple drops anyway:)
But he proved the math so still not a waste of time. Plus now he has extra drops. 😊

Hmmm... I have 12 farming buddies, harvested 150 pumpkins, and ALL of the ones my companion dropped were only +1. What gives? Shouldn't 60% of those pumpkins have been +2s? I planted the pumpkins before converting my characters to farmers... I wonder if that matters.
