I just started playing in March and I love your channel. So, here’s something interesting… I watched this video on Saturday and immediately started removing all but three trees from my biomes. I started with Frosted Heights, because that biome is so hard to move around in. After I did that, there were 19 pieces of wood collecting under those trees at a time (and, yes, only 15 in the Plaza after I removed trees there). But here’s what’s strange: after several days, last night I spotted a single piece of wood I’d missed picking up at the other end of Frosted Heights when I’d first removed the trees. If that wood was sitting there for days, I couldn’t figure out why 19 pieces of wood were still spawning under the three trees for me. That would have been a total of 20 in the biome each time. I was baffled. So I picked it up along with the 19 pieces of wood under the three trees and made a mental note to count the wood under the trees when I got up this morning. I just did, and there was a total of 20 under my trees today! I have no idea what that means, if it’s just a weird one time thing or if I confused the game and it’s going to happen every day now, but I wanted to share this little oddity with you. I can’t make sense of it.

The Forgotten Lands is so spooky. I think the twisted, creepy trees add to that ambiance. I do, however, have the hardest time finding dark wood.

This really is the best video on explaining the whole „Wood“ Stuff. I am glad that i stumbled across it and i already have removed a few trees from the Forgotten Lands. I can’t remove them all since i did that for Forest of Valor and regretted it a lot. But now i at least know that the kind of trees and number of trees doesn’t affect the Wood Regeneration. Because i was afraid of that and that’s why i haven’t removed trees before from the F Lands. But to know that every 5 min a piece or two of wood will regenerate is good to know. Even if it is mostly Dry Wood. So thank you so much for taking the time to figure all of that out. And for investing extra time to see if there might be a 20th wood piece in each Biome.

I just use the little trees in the starting plaza in the planters. I put one in each biome. They produce the max number of wood with just one tree. As long as there are no other trees. If you want to spam the wood faster in a single biome you put more of the trees in that biome instead of the others. For example right now I have 5 in forgotten lands to increase the spawn speed of wood there. The last 3 I have in biomes that produce multiple types of wood. Forest of valor and glade of trust and the sunlit plateau. Mostly cause at this point I don't need as much soft wood. And I'm still not where I want my dark wood to be. Once I am there I'm going back to one tree per biome with the extra one that would be on dazzle beach in the forgotten lands. Because there are exactly the right number of those potted trees in the plaza when you start. And I don't need more then 1 tree to get max wood to spawn that way. Plus they are small and neat and easy to fit near my goofy stall.

if you use the vintage chest as your biome chests you can access the inventory anywhere since it just cloud storages its inventory to each of the chests :D easy way to replenish the hoard xD

@@MrMoraga92 Each vintage chest is basically connected and share the same inventory. So, for example, you can put one vintage chest in each biome to drop off those biome’s flowers then get access to all of them in the vintage chest in your house. It saves up your personal inventory space.
Spacing of trees is important. I crammed all the trees in forest of valor in one corner (near portal) and wood never spawned. I spread back out and alas wood started to spawn.
Tysm for the informative tips, this helped me out tremendously. Now if only there was an easier way to get iron ore.

Once you unlock kristoffs fully upgraded stall he occasionally has iron ingots. It's a rare one though

@@criddles6311 try the wood farming trick. Forgotten lands had the biggest variety of wood types but frosted heights does Dry wood aswell. I've removed all the trees from most biomes and then put 4 or 5 small plaza trees in a corner just to farm the wood. Each biome drops 19 pieces of wood at a time and can't spawn any more until that's been picked up (except the plaza and meadow, those spawn 15 at a time.) Makes it way easier to collect wood cos it's all together. I've only got 2 quests left and I'll have maxed everything out so far lol

you counted to 19, but when I started using 4 trees in all biomes except plaza, meadow and the beach, I could count up to exactly 20 at once, even waited to see if more would pop up

There's a pretty ingenious reason for it to be 19 pieces, namely your brain will actually track that information subconsciously and getting 19/20 will make you feel like you're missing something.
So you'll play more, looking around more, because subconsciously your brain expects there to be another piece of wood you're just missing. It's an adaptation from more primitive times to get the most resources out of our environment, the difference between a handful and 2 handfuls of berries can be pretty drastic when that's all you have to eat.

What’s the best way to get iron? Just grinding?
Glade of trust and forest of valor seem to be best to me. And don’t wait long enough to spawn the gems just keep re hitting the mining spots as soon as they regen.
At the moment. Have a maxed out Character with mining park and just go back and forth to forest of Valor to glade of trust. Sometimes I get iron from the sunlit plateu also. Hope the character gives you extra as you go along.
You know how in time lapses of food rotting there's always a time when it breaks out in bugs? That's all I'm seeing on sped up time lapsed Kristof.
I will not delete the trees. But I will move them to sunlit plateau.

I did this in two biomes yesterday. One biome didn’t made any wood after one day and the other just a few, like 2 or 3 … wtf am i doing wrong 😂 i cleared everything
You still have to have some trees
the way dry wood actually never spawn in my game it makes loose my mind
For me the hardest wood to get is dry wood 🤣 just barely any at all spawn for me nl matter how many times I look for it 🤦♀️

My opinion they are should be add new skill “woodcutting” are chop with logs are lots more than trees falls are low.

If you walk around and pick it up, 20th just spawns after you start:) try just counting them in furniture mode

The funny thing about videos like this one; when a company decided to update and change the game, videos like this one become obsolete. So unless you go around updating; or deleting videos, the information is now incorrect. Now; wood is by Biomes only. So Dark and Dry wood; only spawns in the Forgotten Lands. So your Tree farm idea won't work. Also; your farm was only pumpkins, which grow best in that area. All vegetables grow best in their native areas; or they will take longer to grow. So I wasn't sure when you said Farm; if you meant anything other than pumpkins.
