    Nice to hear everything from them. If Nitin has reported after taking the notes no one would have believed it. Thanks Nitin for travelling and reporting from the ground. A very good interview and with engines and all in the facility looks great.

    Teach French language in Indian Universities if you want India 🇮🇳French friendship. France 🇫🇷 will solve all Indian Defence problems with flick of fingers. Make friendship.

      This engine is both developed and manufactured via a 50-50 joint venture company, CFM International, which Safran jointly owns with the American industrial conglomerate General Electric (GE).Remeber, FRANCE is also a colony of AMERICA !!! i live in FRANCE

      Rahul Gandhi says this is a Hindutva project as Safran seems like Saffron and HAL has Hindustan in its name and therefore is not secular 😂

    Key take away, provide full sovereign capability to India.
    Not only manufacture but design, develop and manufacture...

      MRO is what they will be teaching us. Maintenance, refit and overhaul. India develops a competency to do that and then can offer the service to other countries

      @Your_real_dadDRDO has not been successful in engines for planes or copters. Most other stuff they have done well. This helps with that piece of the jigsaw puzzle

    Awesome development 👌👍 Nice to know Safran has been working closely with India since past 60 years or so. No wonder, when you have powerful friends (France, US, Israel, Russia and others) hostile countries look like pests, who are not threatening at all. Jai Hind 🙏🙏

    A fighter engine is the bread and butter of any aerospace company. I doubt they would actually share such critical tech

    France wants to sell arms to India, India also biggest arms importer in world. Sad thing is foreign governments are dictating Indian what to do and what say because Indian are not got any large scale research and development. None of Indian universities can show competence to build anything.

    • @blackbirds1440
      @blackbirds1440 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Kaveri Engine in its current form is not suitable for any use case in India. So we are upgrading the engine. A non AB version will power UCAVs and already under fabrication by Godrej aerospace. We can also see an AB version in future if requirement arises.

      Contrary to what people say, Ii was an important milestone in the history of India’s attempt to design and build jet engines.
      We are quite unforgiving when it comes to “spending” but then as we emerge as a power this is to be expected. The cash spent by the premier powers towards the endeavor dwarfs our attempts. Probably one day it will be recognized as the cheapest if not shortest route getting there.
