This is a project and in it you will learn not only about 3D Printing, but how a gearbox works, its parts and its assembly. It has the advantage of being able to be used in education in a mechanics class, since it allows each part to be visualized and seen in operation.

This is an awesome build. Very clever. I just wished you give us a little extra 30 seconds at the end with a clip in very slow motion so we can clearly see the mechanism in motion and visually comprehend the whole thing. Great video, Thanks

Have you thought of 3D printing a ball bearing to stabilize the shaft?
It seems that the gear ratio is 1:1 on level 7 and is a much higher torque on level 1 (like 5:1 or something). Am I being dumb or is this the case? I'm just wondering because I thought at first the gear ratio went N:1, N:2, N:3 and so on.

I had a good look at the video but can honestly not understand how the input shaft works. There is the small gear driven by the motor but is it just friction of the gear being pushed against each other that makes them all turn? None of the input shaft gears are locked onto the shaft or it that how it is supposed to be?
My apologies, I watched your other assembly video and saw that all gears and spacers get glued onto the input shaft
