but they've been visiting my house for 3 years.
앨리 (암컷, 나이: 6달) 부모: 아람이와 테리.
아람의 이니셜 'A' 따서 앨리라고 이름 지음
Ally (Female, 6 Months old) Parents: Aram & Terry.
I made the name Ally from the first letter of Aram's name.
아람 (암컷, 나이: 3살 ) 제니가 낳은 새끼로 추정.
Aram (Female, 3 years old), her mother is Jenny.
다람쥐 친구들이 시간차를 두고 겨울잠을 자러 갔습니다.
겨울동안에는 10월에 촬영한 영상들로 채워질 것 같습니다.
만약 겨울에 촬영한 좋은 영상들이 있다면 함께 볼 수 있도록 하겠습니다.

It was surprising to see Ally take on Aram. She definitely is Aram's offspring! Bunny made the trek to Choo Choo cafe for a change (instead of home delivery). Didn't realise Blue Jays stay all year. The little "plop" when Jay jumps into the birdbath is the sound of joy!

Poor Jay, I wonder how she lost the feathers. I bet that makes it harder for her to fly. So nice to see everyone up on the deck, even Bunny. Jay looks healthy and strong in the video from Dec. I'm happy that she's getting better. 💗🌹 Thank you for taking good care of all of them Choo Choo. 💗

Yes, birds drop feathers seasonally, and when its primaries like here in Jay's case, it looks like something to be concerned about, thinking she left the one that was hanging because these are blood feathers. So I guess she was getting ready for her striking winter plumage. I'm a bit confused about the little chipmunks, are they out and about already, or was that from before? So far it's been a very mild winter, here for sure. Thanks Choo Choo for sharing, see you soon!🐦 🐿❤️👍

Molly’s scar is not going away, as is Bobby’s tail injury, now so short.
Blue Jays will stay around as long as there is enough natural food and if the weather is mild. She may have escaped an attack by a hawk or other predator. Her feathers will grow back in and she'll be OK, as long as she's flying fine.
Blue Jays are such beautiful birds. I don't think that they fly south for the Winter. My Jay family is still here in Vermont. ❤

Uh-oh, recommend providing some grit near the food in case the blue jays need this. They won't have access to it on a snow-covered ground. Suggest try giving them some mealworms since there's probably no insects around for them to eat. In my area, non-migratory birds hide in the bushes and pine trees to protect themselves against rain, snow, and wind during the winter. Your area becomes much colder than mine. Since the jays aren't used to your cold, they'll need a warmer shelter than normal. I don't know if they already built this, will build it if given the materials, or you would have to do it for them. Hopefully, they'll survive okay through the winter there.
I think that the old system of putting several trays of seeds/nuts on the table or at different areas works better to avoid fighting among the chipmunks instead of making them wait one at a time to be "fed" by hand.
Everyone looks healthy and almost ready for winter. The Jay will grow some more feathers but something must have happened to her to lose that many.

This is the first time I've ever seen anyone chase away Aram. Usually, it's the other way around.

it can take 120 days for new feathers to replace the missing ones that she lost. you'll have to be extra careful with that wing of yours Jay
My chippies went to winter sleep in late October and I won't see them again till around March (Pennsylvania, USA). I see you still have your buddies visiting even in January. AMAZING! I should have read further into the "more". I thought you just filmed this in January. My misunderstanding. It's nice that you keep the channel active over the winter with stock footage from the warm seasons. My best to you and Tom for the new year.

I think I've heard the Blue Jays migrate some years and not others, but I don't remember where I saw/heard that. Collision with a window? She still gets around OK, but long distance flying is probably ill-advised. -- Ally's look at 2:15 is like: "Aram is right behind me isn't she, Mom?" Is Ally top Chippy now?
