I had a customer a year or so ago pay for an item with nickels, it was $2 worth of buffalo nickels. I still have them stored away. Now I have to check them all 😂
I am so glad I found a 1950 D in my nickel box today and that finishes my album!
@RobFindsTreasure Hi Rob, box 101 was a doozy.
Over 310 finds (I tried to post this yesterday but I must have deleted it accidentally).
20 rolls were customer wrapped all coins 1965 or earlier.
The prize... 43D which I needed, now only missing 38D, 50D.
3 semi-keys: 48S and two 55 Philly
2 additional silvers
A smattering of other better dates:
47S, 52S, 54S.
2 1958 Philly
8 1959 Philly
And several other sub 30mil mintage dates/MMs
Fun!
That was a sweet hunt! Tons of finds - and a couple buffalo nickels! You can't get mad at that! Another great video!
I could see those Buffalo Nickel dates from a mile away! 😁
Great hunt!
Yeah! Buffalo nickels. Keep herding em in. Nice video.
Great finds and hunt! Great to fill spots in the Album
Awesome, Rob! I'm doing "amazing" in my nickels, and I put that in quotes because all of a sudden I'm getting 50-60 Canadian nickels in my boxes! Idaho boxes don't get many foreigns but I live near the Montana border so once in a while I get nickels. 3 boxes, 187 Canadian nickels! 22 of them were the pure nickel ones and also a King George V from the 30's.
Always good to get finds for the book 😀🇺🇸
Fun couple of boxes Rob, congrats brother on the finds 👍
Nice to see that you don't need the 50D anymore
Rob...Great hunt!👍 I did 3 boxes this week and found my First 50-D, along with 3 other 50-P's. 2 silver nics and 4 Buffalo 's...and an unbelievable near mint 38-D. It was an awesome week. I have a short up on my channel with the 50-D👍
I just searched 2 boxes of pennies and found a 1881 Indian head.
Nice I found something even crazier than that I found a 1857 Flying Eagle Cent
@@RobFindsTreasure it's hella rare to get one i managed to get that along with a indian head cent in with its twin box
I really enjoy your videos Rob!
Greetings from Denmark. 🙏
Booooomski Rob! Great hunt your right never know when your gonna find something cool in the hunt!
great finds some upgrades 2 Buffalos and low mint dates so good hunt I would say
Two Thumbs up, great hunt .
Just got a MS64 1942P war nickel at work last night. That was definitely a great find.
Great video! I hope to be back off overtime after next week so I can go back to being part of the live streams. Hope all is well.
Great hunt, Rob!
THAT BEING SAID, some good nickels in here!
Thanks Rob for the great video much love from Oregon brother have a great weekend
Awesome finds!!
Hope you are feeling a little better today Rob x
Been waiting for nickels often overlooked 😢😅
Nickel hunting in former side finds and book set 4!
What a fun one!
Good stuff, I actually just had a couple boxes similar. I found 2 foreign coins, 2 buffalos in one roll, then had a buffalo ender, 2 war nickels and some mint condition 40's and 50's nickels. Rob if you ever come across any 2024 nickels I'll trade you circulated boxes for them.
Nichols oh boy that's fine goodies 🤓
Series 3 about to beef up the side finds very cool!
Nice hunt 👍👍❤️
The 2024 pennies are out! I got my 1st one in
my change just an hour before the eclipse on April 8. I’ve gotten two more since then.
A few days ago I got a V nickel ender it’s polished but a 1909 V nickel you can’t pass up for 5 cents
Anytime I find an earlier date than 2000 I get happy.
My hundredth box this week had 31 finds... started very slow, ended good. A Trifecta box... a silver, a V nickle and a semi-key (1955 Philly).
I decided to look at the 100 boxes:
Only missing 1938D, 1943D and 1950D.
Major production:
1938S
1939 D, S (2 of the S)
Semi-keys:
1948S (12)
1949S (8)
1950 (7)
1951S (8)
1955 Philly (15)
V nickles (4)
Buffalo (50)
Silvers (92)
To give some context, last summer I had 2 customer wrapped rolls that were all 1947 to 57... every date and mintmatk except 1950D. Including 1 or 2 BU of every single date and mintmark and 3 or 4 total of each date and mintmark... with proofs: 54, 55, 56 and 57.
Still looking for the 3 dates...
nice
👍
Congratulations on finding 2 Buffalo nickels and other finds thanks for sharing Rob
✌️
Lol i just went through a box today and got a 1920 buffalo
😮
There was a buffalo ended (roll 30) in that first box!
not that your not already really busy ... but howzabout a 10 box hunt from 10 different banks ???
The silver jar is CRYING!!!!!!!!!!!
I have been trying to find the microscope that you have on your show but can't find it. I would appreciate any help you could provide for me. Thank you for your time. Good luck with your hunting
I only have 2 buffalo nickels: 1937-P, 1938-D.
Hey rob, you know how you grade coins? I would like to try grading, what do I do to grade. This is my first time trying to grade.
Watch this video on how to submit coins for grading: th-cam.com/video/znhMSQBRLu4/w-d-xo.html
What do you do with the old nickles that you find? Do you keep them loose or do you put them in cardboard flips?
Does your bank take the coins back after you search them? Where do you take them afterwards?
You keep forgetting to mention the Shield Nickels😭😭😭
@@RobFindsTreasure Trust me, it is worth it all the way. Already found my own. Bet one day, you will find your own outside of metal detecting.
I’ve been finding nickels in my quarter rolls lately. Bank is not sympathetic. Prove it 😮.
Keep hunting and good luck! They're still out there for us to find! By the way - I am selling my custom Coin Roll Hunting Mats on my website or on eBay (see below):

Rob, I posted on my 100th box below . Some stats you might appreciate.
Got one. Thanks.
Hi Rob I'm starting out my coin\metal detecting channel. Would you happen to have any good advice for me?
I made my first coin hunt video yesterday.
I understand what you mean about some 39s being beat up I could still have a mint mark. I had a 39 And when I flipped it, it was a San Francisco I had to look in my microscope and loop. And it was reason was because there's a big scpatch on where the mint mark was. I had to make sure.
@@MrDark2020 I remember finding a 1939 DDO one time. I sold it for $250 since I already have 4 of them and sometimes, the mint mark is micro which usually makes me look twice.
