Karthik and Nithin Sir- you are both the examples of "leading others with humility". I can't stress enough to the audience here on the humility and good leadership qualities I have seen with the whole core team of Zerodha.
I am in zerodha since 2016, One improvement that I would love to see, is viewing my account value graph in console since beginning,Currently is shows for only last one year., also the bank pay ins and pay outs may be shown separately in the fund statement
Venu Sir 🤗🤗 I enjoyed working in your team, and appreciate how you and Hanan Sir created a culture where transparency and openness were so valued. I miss you all.
This is such a wholesome conversation ranging from tech to investment to life & future. What a revelation it was to know that Venu’s grandfather runs Dwarka. This weekend I will go and eat one extra dosa there 😂
Here are 5 core people of a company sitting together and saying things like 'trading is difficult' (one of their main offerings), 'we don't see dreams while hiring', 'material growth aspirations at times can act as a filter', too much should not be read into our (spectacular) valuations etc. In the world today where there is a culture of doing x/2 and presenting it as 10x, you need this honesty and transparency to sustain.
From what ive heard, your success comes down to you guys as a company being just being selfless (educating, not being predatory, being open about your risks)…you’re just a good model for work culture for the future of Indian Companies.
You five, look like Pandavas of Mahabharat in financial markets of India and Nithin the big brother is truly a Dharmaraj. I am truly proud to be associated with you.🙏🏻
Nithin !! I had huge appreciation for the kannidigas for their nationalism and with your success, my appreciation goes up even higher. Congrats on completing 13 years .
A treat to listen to Nikhil. So much of gyaan on everything under the sun and also my vocabulary has enhanced much....Thank u Nikhil...I just drool when I look at Nikhil talking...
Who all remember younger versions of Venu, Kartik, and Kailash from the POLICE RAID video? Hats off to the trio for demonstrating their loyalty to Zerodha!
Answer for the question(Why so Shy?) asked to Venu Madhav : Due to CA Course i think. CA's have much more knowledge but no communication skills and a introvert personality bcoz lack of college exposure. MBA has less knowledge compared to them but makes you very extrovert and very good in communication skills.
Thank you so much guys for uploading this on youtube so we can virtually hangout with you guys. Also special thanks for keeping a section for advice for young people which can really help young people like me. Also Nikhil, on your podcast please ask every guest for advice for young people.
i can watch content like this for hours... kudos to you guys for creating such a wonderful platform.. i hope we can get more videos like these to get to know Dr K, Nithin and all the other a little more..
Happy to see the success of Zerodha. I have been associated with them for more than a decade right from their early days and have always believed in them..
Just seeing these people converse in such a way which so casual and nuanced makes me wanna trust what they have built. Kudos to Zerodha team for such an insightful podcast.
I applaud Zerodha's remarkable contributions to the ecosystem of capital markets and society as a whole. Dr. K's opinions are particularly insightful, and Nithin's holistic perspectives on business and society are thought-provoking. I also appreciate the expertise and humility displayed by Karthik and Venu. While Nikhil is undoubtedly knowledgeable, I have observed that at times, he comes across as overly confident and occasionally erratic in his discussions and behaviour in general.
The philosophy reciprocated by zerodha is by far the best one I have ever witnessed and cheers to you guys, I'm a better version of myself just listening to you, discovering my fallacies

Zerodha is doing injustice to their partners. Those who have done the demat account opening of people in different parts of India for a long time are now depriving those partners by email and phone. Imposing conditions if you can't open a new account, don't give the brokerage of the previously opened account. What kind of rule is that? Those partners who took this Zerodha to the top and to the common people are today depriving them. This should be seen by sebi and zerodha founders. May we get justice.
Wow, such a beautiful team. Each individual is very calm and gave their best for the profession. There can be another Zerodha but the success of any company is always built by its team and these 5 pillars are just phenomenal role models! 🤗
These two brothers have actually taught the whole Indian startup ecosystem how to do business. The irony is none of the new age entrepreneurs are willing to implement the learnings into their businesses 😂. Sab saale loss mein hi rehte hain.

Here is a suggestion sir. For benefit of retail traders...Please allow brokerage free trades for traders doing fno with max money of under 5000 (single buy order) with max limit of 2 trades per day.
Congratulations team Zerodha! Wishing loads of success for the future. Tons of lessons for entrepreneurs and leaders on how to build a successful business in the current time. Here are some - Do what you are passionate about. Stay true to yourself and not just be driven by money. Retrospect and be ok to show vulnerability( discussion on hits and misses). Be with people and not retain or manage them. Scale sensibly. Hire for attitude and aptitude, teach skills, engage deeply to know them as people, don't make false promises, and do meaningful work. No titles or levels. Contentment is important. Have meaningful targets like "doing what is good for the clients" and not chase targets like revenue and profitability - those will happen naturally if all else is in place. Do good for the society (foundation). Spend within means. Be health conscious. Be a decent human being. Am sure I have missed out a few. In a nutshell, a culture for a happy, high-performing team. Congratulations!! We need many more organizations with such a culture.

CTO: You would also have had to compromise on people, like I won't be here. {Laughter}. "No seriously though". 1:00:25 But the money is not free so we all have pressure. Good for Zerodha that they got to do it their way and never had to rely on external capital. Can't take away the fact that this is a function of their core philosophy first.
