Everything, with a cut waist-robe covering only the middle (no idea what those things are called, but u see them all the time in games/fantasy costumes)
Thiccmane or Thighmane are also acceptable.

@ComocosonoEWL It's not a reference to the real spanish inquistion but rather to Monty Python's "The Spanish Inquisition", it's a series of short comedy sketches about inquisition priests trying to get people to admit to immoral things or catch them, and they shout that line "No one expects the Spanish Inquisition!", it's a cult-classic. One of the devs must be a Monty Python fan, there are alot of Monthy Python references in World of Warcraft too.

Fun fact:there seems to have been a time when the Scarlet Crusade was willing to accept members of the Alliance Of Lordaeron into their ranks.
In the Scarlet Halls, in the room of the second boss,you can find eleven statues dedicated to heroes of the Crusade. Only eight are human,there is also a dwarf and two high elves
or they simply could be where they are was at one point a base for the Silver Hand and they didnt bother doing much redecorating except changing the color scheme.

It's also possible Bloodmage Thalnos was a blood elf in life. If that is true, a likely explanation is he was an ambassador sent by Lor'themar in an attempt to form an alliance against the Scourge. But as the Scarlet Crusades' paranoia and racism grew, they betrayed and murdered him, after which he rose as a skeletal mage and began haunting the graveyard.

I like how she keeps her title, High Inquistor, after she joins with the Death Knights. She really made her mark on history.
Why is it that every time the culling of Stratholme is in a lore video I have to immediately go watch the Culling of Arthas.

That Culling of Stratholme moment is such a critical one in WoW lore. What other options did Arthas have? What if Uther and Jaina, instead of abandoning him, had stayed to assist, and to temper his judgments a bit. Would there even have been a Lich King? Would Sylvanas have become a soccer Mom? Alas, we will never know.
I agree. And imto it was also well written: Arthas did a horrible thing, but he had good intentions. Arthas' fall into darkness was done well: he didn't became evil due to ambitions, but for his desperation and obsession to do the right things.
+MrMike11233 It's easier to justify something in hindsight, he slaughtered a whole city of completely innocent people on the _theory_ that they would all turn. They did not know so at the time, not for sure. And even if they did, there was no way of knowing who had actually eaten and who had not. So realistically speaking, Arthas definitely also slaughtered people who were not infected at all that night. *The moral of the story is that summed up in this quote from Nietzsche: **_“Beware that, when fighting monsters, you yourself do not become a monster... for when you gaze long into the abyss. The loss of life is tragic to be sure, but, left unchecked, all of the Eastern Kingdoms would have been at risk.
Arthas could have put everyone under house arrest, and have his army watch over them, prepared to kill them if they turned. After a certain period of time, everyone infected would have turned, and they'd know the remainder were clean.
I agree. What gets me, though, is that the entire city of Stratholme became undead anyway. Arthas thought he was saving the people from turning, but one way or another, they were going to end up undead anyway. That is what gets me.

I had major problerms with the order halls, one the DK one, So King trollbane, a human , warrior king who slain countless orcs and blames them for a lot of the damages done to his kngdom his absolutely fine with riding beside a Orc. Also with the paladin order hall, Eaverything about it screams alliance, all the statues in it were of alliances heroes, tirion was the only neutral one, and the Name, The silver hand was created to ifght the horde, now it has the horde in it, im kinda pissed that none of the paladins there took notice of fucking taurens being alllowed in they dont even worship the same thing, tauren paladins are not paladins but sunwalkers they worship the sun one of the eyes of an`she

Not at all. It was a perfect opportunity for the Crusade to make an appearance. "The enemy of my enemy is my friend" and all that. But I'll admit its a minor thing.
Well there are now "tamed" Scarlet Crusaders in Dalaran and a friendly one in Netherlight Temple

As a Paladin I always feel hatred whenever I saw what the Ebon Blade and the Lich King trying to do in the Chapel. Lich King may know what was he doing, but DK attacking the homebase of Palading when we have to fight against Legion is not something that I can tolerate.
Paladins escalated that into a fight though, not the Death Knights

The Warlock one was absolutely incredible too though.
I loved the Scarlet Monastery since the beginning and the Whitemane hat and the Herod Shoulder. It looks like there are changes again. I might have to go back again but I do miss the 4 halls before it got merged into 3. Good to know the lore.

The bombing part was back in Cataclysm. The experiments were also back then. The burning of Teldrassil was consider a strategic attack, the Nigh Elfs are the biggest threat. With them gone, Kalimdor will be the Hordes. And (Oh christ) The bombing of Theormore was a strategic plan made by Garrosh to finish the fight quicker, all the Alliance commanders were in the same place. One good bomb and they all fall, if he had continue attacking normally. More soldiers would lose their lives against Theormore.
Slyvanas did what she had to, but I have to say she's going to need to go a different path or shell become the second Arthas

+S. F. P. If we believe Chronicle, then Ner'zhul is nothing but a whimpering presence in the back of the Lich Kings head, after Arthas mentally defeated him. We don't get any confirmation, what happens to him after Arthas was deafeated, but my guess is, that he either died with him, or has still not recovered. I think what actually corrupted Bolvar was the extensive use of necromantic powers to keep the scourge in check, aswell as the absence of the light.
Arthas killed Nerzul and became the dominant identity.

After 10+years of not playing wow I still find myself looking back and thinking about how hot whitemane was. Wish her deathknight version had a unique model that lived up to her scarlet crusade greatness.

Never knew sally got raised as an undead(being something you hate is always an interesting thing for me). And it makes sense that she points her hate to the legion since they are the ones that created the undead scourge in the first place.

I'd say the Scarlet Crusade is more like the Sedevacantists, a group of Catholics who claim to be traditional, but instead reject the Papacy and pretend anyone who doesn't reject the Papacy is a heretic while also ironically calling Protestants and Orthodox heretics as well. Basically, to a Sedevacantist, everyone is a heretic, including the Pope.
actually, more like the Knights Templar is a better comparison. Blacks back then did not destroy America, the KKK was created by the Democrat party to regain power via terror.(source: Prager university). but that is another topic, your assessment is fair and similar! the Scarlet Crusade became extremely prejudicial towards all races and I think it's roots started back in Warcraft 3.(Blood elf campaign). war and Death on a massive scale can easily create hatred, thus if the Scarlet Crusade had focused more on the Lich King and not on the "Purity of race" then they would have been a mighty enemy against the forces of evil and death!

I've just been running Cavern's of Time - The Culling of Stratholme and seriously impressed on how the old WC3 inter-action at the start translated so well.
It also showcased how much Arthas forgot he was a Prince, not some biker-gang wanna-be-leader, and how much of his hotheadedness was because he wanted to show off to his chick, Jaina. Am I reading to much into it ? Nah.

It just hit me with this video. The new Lich King just picked off where the old one stopped. Sending the Death Knights into the Chapel ONCE AGAIN treading on holy ground. This is EXACTLY what happened when we turned away from Arthas in WOTLK. Why is Darion fine with Bolvar doing this to him?

@@klonvomhaus they did fight back, doesn't mean they got killed. To what was given, the Ebon Blade was the only ones at risk. And Dorian was the only one who actually died. Evident since they used simple ghouls rather than just killing everyone, and only beat Liandra til she can't fight anymore
I disagree with the not killing thing. Not only did they disturb the slumber of righteous light soldiers in the chapelle, they also killed all the unnamed soldiers they faced. I am sure the named ones were spared because of their connection to the light. They COULD NOT beat them to death, and they weren't there to do that. So they did not try a futile effort in their time-bound quest to get Fordring. Still looks pretty Arthas to me. But you convinced me in so far that they weren't there to conquer and kill everyone and to "test the ground".

My theory on the DK quest, we raise these former with the help of the lich king power, he sent us to light hope on purpose to either kill us or to kill Darion so that we will raise him using his power. I'm expecting that he has full control of the four since we raised them using his power. On the quest to get the mount the lich king clearly stated that if we fail he will take over the Ebon blade. At this point it is clear that there will be an expansion where the lich king finally plot his move, it seem that the helm is finally taking control of Bolvar.

one thing im surprised about is how slow the story is coming along for the present expansion were as in the legion there was tons of videos to watch as the story unfolded but now we haven't got past the start of the war and its been months since the expansion came out

Good video and all, but this was more the history of the scarlet crusade and the ebon blade featuring the high inquisitor Sally Whitemane. I do understand there isn't a heck of a lot to cover with Sally perhaps when blizzard releases lich king 2.0 to woo back players after the failure that is BFA.
