I'm bummed, they got rid of the burger kings here in my town in Oregon I live in. We used to have one with a big play area... It's a bummer all the 90's vibe esthetic and things to do seem to be going away... (Funny story) my dad spun me around the marry go round there back when I was like 8 and I just kept yelling faster as I laughed, holding on for dear life. Well... I lost my grip and flew head first into the fence around the outdoor play zone. The fire department had to come and pry the fence bars to get my head out and unstuck lol I sorta had a panic attack when I realized I couldn't pull my head out. Like the bars were at my neck, I could move, I just could not pull my head back out... I like pretty much went through the 7 stages of grief during all that until I got free. Plus I hit my head super hard. But I was that idiot kid that always jumped off shit and eventually got into skating but ya, the burger king had to get rid of the marry go round after that event. For safety reasons... (That's why the 90's ruled. Because it had a bit of that 80s vibe and attitude where people were like "okay kids, have fun, you might get hurt watch out but have fun 👍🏻." But now, it's like they have completely gotten rid of any "fun, goof off, odd stuff." It's like everything is all modernized, minimalism, contemporary, and bland, repetitive and if it doesn't make money 💰 then it's gotta go.. so all those old drive in movie theaters, roller rinks, N64 in a McDonald's with the hamburglar characters, Hollywood video, music stores where you could listen to the albums tracks before buying, indoor fun zones with r/c speed boats, mini golf ⛳ with loops, bumper cars, ball pits, just weird random stuff. Random weird local shops, stores that you could play halo 1 ok big TVs and link up LAN parties, and just towns still having older sorta run down kinda house's duplexes, just unique "lower cost living options ya know") where I live they have literally gotten rid of all of that and just put in cookie cutter type places to live and everything costs ridiculous per month and everything is so bland and stale. I just miss the creativity, the quirkiness that's all. I was born in 1989 so I was lucky to get to see the tail end of these things that aren't around anymore and I can't help but wonder what it must be like for kids that never got to experience the stuff is 90s kids got to experience. I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world. Getting to be a teen when wild Boyz, jackass, CKY was a big deal 🤘🏻 a kid when Steve Erwin was literally my idol! Growing up on magic school bus, bill Nye the science guy, captain planet, X-Men the animated series, all the animated series tv shows. All the classic animated movies. Like it was the best time to be a kid and a teenager.) *Wow I got a LITTLE side tracked there. My apologies. I just had good memories triggered. So sorry lol 😆

That shows she was not at all jumping to any conclusions. She was openly hypothetically thinking about it.. she wasn't judgmental, she was curious. Im curious. I wonder if they were just really scared? Were they just really not the type of people to stand up, step in, say anything, contact the police? It's a rational thought to ponder about because it's a really not normal situation. They obviously cared and loved her , you just can't help but wonder if they were scared for her safety or something idk? You'd think someone would step up and contact authorities. No confrontation or something needed to happen if they were not that type of person. You'd just think they would protect her by getting her away, like away away, from someone that's clearly SUPER DANGEROUS FOR HER TO BE AROUND.. I wish that when he was eventually arrested, that 1. They held him way way way way longer. 2. I wish they took the kids and got so far out of there and dang near in witness protection or something because it seems so clear that if and when he got out of jail, and he couldn't have things his way. That he would be a complete risk liability towards all of their safeties. None of the thoughts and questions asked were victim blaming or degrading and closed mindedly judgmental... It's coming from a curious place of wishing something could have been different for all of the safety for each individual in that situation besides the violent criminal.. like they all deserved to be able to get away from that destructive guy and go live out a full and happy life and hopefully they could heal from their traumas and mistakes and issues.. I totally believe people should not be overly judged because I've seen amazing things come from people who messed up in life but then came back from that and grew into better people. So I hope you can see the person who wrote the main comment was not being quick to judge. Being curious is totally fine and understandable to do. And you can come to a better place of understanding when you are willing to be open minded to learn about things that other people might not be even willing to take the time to or they mentally don't even have room for that because some people are so judgemental/ stigmatize/closed minded... But I did not get that feeling at all by reading the initial comment... Idk if it just came off differently to you.. but it sounded pretty neutral and open minded about wanting to learn more...

Like I've had moments where 2 bad dogs attacked my little 5 yr old brother as me him and my dad rollerbladed down a little hill and they got loose, spear tackled him and dragged him by his clothes across the road after they made him crash and me and my dad had to switch it into protection mode and run over/skate 🛼 over and yell and kick and punch these super violent dogs that were thrashing my little brother around... As he is just screaming crying bloody murder (it's literally ingrained in the back of my memory) but besides that I love animals. How can people just soullessly destroy a cat, let alone, all it did was happen to get near your garage... Like just open the door and sheew it out... It's not hard... It takes a lot more effort to do what he did so it really shows just how sick of a person he is... This case sticks with me as much as the Hinterkaifeck farmhouse case does... It just makes my skin crawl... And I'm baffled by so many aspects of it all...

It could've been possible if Amy had taken Katy and divorced him, he might have decided to retaliate right then and there against both. At the very least, if she was given up for adoption and did not seek out her parents, (probably what Amy wanted), she'd be alive today. It's a lot harder to track down someone who's changed their name and is with a different family, than it is finding two people living together that both have custody rights to.
Though, once Amy did that, she should've left Steve. Abuse like that doesn't manifest overnight, and it doesn't go away. And at the very least, when Katy did show up to her home, she did try to warn her. Unfortunately, she should've insisted that she not stay, and leave ASAP. Not sure if its better to think your biological family hates you, or be dead, but I think most people would prefer life.

I actually learned about it right at the time it happened because my favorite uncle, who is no longer with us, lived in New Milford and drove by the tragic scene. He called me the next day as news about the case came out and told me about it. He was really shaken up once he found out the specifics of the case. Watching this reminded me of that call. I miss him a lot and in some way, watching this made it feel as though he was next to me, saying in the voice he had when nervous-excitement about something, 'See Kimmie, I drove right by there!' I got goosebumps but wasn't scared. I had to take a few minutes before I could type this as I was overwhelmed by this experience. Thank you again. I appreciate all your hard work you put into your channel and am so happy to be part of your family. 🫶😻

How on EARTH do you stand by your son while he MARRIES HIS DAUGHTER
She calls 911 and sounds horrified because he killed his baby.
Like that’s the horrifying part but the bit where he married his first baby and knocked her up was worthy of a smile in the photos.

Tragic. He threatened the same thing with her biological mother. How can his lawyer say he wasn't a threat to himself or others. And why did his mom get custody of the baby? If the daughter went back home to her adoptive parents they all should have had custody. She was the kid taken advantage of by her biological abusive father.

Someone abusing animals is such a huge red flag. If they will hurt an animal they will hurt a human. Someone wanting to be with their own biological daughter and have a child with them is also a huge red flag. I dont understand how anyone could have supported this union!

she was 15 when she met this thing, 16 when she gave birth, 17 when she put her daughter up for adoption. She was still a high schooler when all of this happened, estranged from her family (which means no emotional, financial, physical support). Can't say that being in an abusive relationship on top of everything else that happens during adolescence can give someone the wherewithal to pack up everything and leave with baby in tow being the easier option.
