@@MrBillFold they have decent fried chicken there but the BBQ is just mediocre at best. Its fast food in a sit down type of place. They used to be good back in the day and those days are long since over.
I went this weekend we got to to me plates one was pulled pork and sausage with mac and cheese and potato salad my play was brisket jalapeno cheddar sausage mac and cheese potato salad portions were super tiny for what I paid the pulled pork was okay but the briefing was bomb

Master the art of controlling the temperature of your smoker and the rest is EASY.... Smoking briskets is not that hard. I would recommend starting with Pork Butts. Brisket and ribs can get very expensive to experiment with. 275 to 285 on the temp... roughly 1hr per pound, wrap it the last 2hrs take it out and let it rest 40 to 60 min. Good way to start then adjust to your liking. However nothing beats going to a place sitting down and eating a good Beef Rib. Looks good... 👍🏼

Lake Murvail's largest (and really only) campgrounds is not no more than a 10 minute ride from there, if that, down to Stovall's Marina!
