Many Americans suffer a lot financially under Capitalism.
They simply don't understand (or don't want to face the reality) that Capitalism is what they should channel their frustrations at, rather than at one another, or at China or Russia.
Under Capitalism, financial crises are created every certain number of years, it's not a stable economic system. The idea that Capitalism will bring a trickle down economy, has been proven again and again not to be working.
As long as so many Americans continue to vote for the two mainstream political parties (Republican and Democratic), both which are aligned with the extreme implementation of Capitalism in the United States, the country will continue to endure financial hardship caused by inflation and other adverse outcomes of Capitalism, such as huge inequality. The U.S. government (and many of its people) thinks it still manages / controls the world. It no longer does ...
It's time for implementing Socialism in North America, similar to the one with Chinese characteristics that's implemented in China, or at least the Social Welfare Model of some European countries, by all conscientious people starting to vote for the Socialist Party of the United States.

i don't understand the lack of awareness of danger by the same people who seem to be overly anxious at the country "darkening" , and code it in language like "the economy" "immigration reform" "election integrity" - it's like a mass hypnosis for at least some people. Im not going to make excuses for them, but I see what's going on very clearly and its frustrating as hell that they refuse to acknowledge basic reality and act indignantly about it
People are acting dumb because the networks also act dumb - abc 7 eyewitness news NY, a pretty well respected news program as it's local news for the NY metro area, reported on the mysterious objects in the sky, and for 2 whole minutes talked about how no ones knows what's going on and people want answers, while zoomed in on the planet venus. So very obviously so.
A lot of people are just really stupid now because everyone thinks that they dont need to know anything, they can just look it up. So they never learn things that they don't actually need to know, and filling their brain up on more artificial bullshit

I lived in a great private owned complex for years. Well kept. No air conditioning (in CA) and carport. Good rent. Good management. Then the owner died. The family had to sell one of 3 properties just to pay the stepped up taxes of well over $1 million dollars. The rents at the other 2 properties went up. Because they HAD too.

Eliminating the FICA contribution Cap for Social Security would mostly solve the problem of social security running out of income. And it could be done in 15 minutes. Currently, people making over $168,600 (in 2024) do not have to pay FICA tax for Social Security on their income above that amount. This is just another legal way to allow wealthier people to keep more of their money. Where is the fairness there? People making under $168,600 pay 6.2 percent on all of their income while the employer pays another 6.2 percent. Self employed pay the full amount. Why should wealthier people pay FICA on a smaller percentage of their income that those less wealthy?

Anyone else feel the irony of them talking about not buying gifts, and then CC rolling right into a commercial to buy cozy pj's as gifts in time for Christmas?? 😂

Lol I see your point. I just get tired of being told all the time about making Christmas presents as if we all had working fingers, no osteoarthritis, no back or neck pain from bending down at looking at what we’re creating, etc. No thank you. I’ll have to continue to buy small gift cards and or highly precise things I find at deep discounts.

I’ve been following Susie Orman for 24years; bought a couple of her books and watched her show. I was able to retire early and live comfortably with financial security thanks to her advice over the years. “ Family first, then money, then things” is what she use to say on her show.

We only gathered for Christmas ❤ we don't do gifts but do make up baskets for homeless and my niece that is strapped barley making it even though she works everyday. We give her cash 😂😂😂. To me Christmas is about family not buying their love. Free love is the best and none of us become the Grinch because we all broke after Christmas.

Please don’t buy baskets for the homeless! I’m dead ass serious. How rude, when I was homeless all I dreamed of was a place to put my stuff. And I still don’t have that but PLENTY of free food with no where to cook it!!! People are so stupid! Merry Xmas :(
