    “Is it double blind?”
    “What does double blind mean?”
    “Not 100% sure”

Great video guys. I would assume its a bit difficult to double blind a study where the intervention is exercise, since the participants are required to actually perform the exercises.

I think the question was poorly worded and thusly misunderstood from what, at least I believe, was the intent behind it. I think question meant to ask 1. can you jump higher just training by jumping and lifting heavy and 2. explaining the benefit of including power exercises.
annecdotally, I have found that focusing more on the poles seems to be working for me, but I am sure that once my strength gets higher I will benefit more from focusing more on power exercises.

Thanks you so much for all the infos guys!
Just curious about your thoughts on the far end of the force velocity curve like over speed exercises as band assisted jump? I don’t remember seeing you use them in your videos

I think Isaiah has the genetics to get so strong.
I mean there are many athletes doing lifting to get stronger but they often can't reach a decent strength level because they have not the genetics (CNS, muscle fibre type, hormones...) or they can't recover from it.
The best athletes basically perform very well not just in their sport but also on most exercises (strength training inlcuded).
Those freak athletes aren't the best because they did the lifting. But they can lift pretty good because they are the best. Call it talent.

Definitely wouldnt give you the absolute best results but would just weights and jumping really stagnate that quickly? If youre completing hypertrophy cycles and progressively getting stronger while also still practicing max jumps wouldn't that work for a decently long time?

What's your take on pjf performance? I feel like he doesn't lean as heavy into strength work as you guys do. Just curious.
