Thanks for the short to point video with great video work. Enjoyed your relaxed manner on my rainy February morning. I can't wait for Spring to come. I would like to see how they look now after 3 years, I bet it's a mass spectacle for the eyes.

Hi. Many thanks for watching and for your message, much appreciated.
It will be nice to not have it rain for an entire month😄
I actually lifted all the bulbs in the autumn as I have re done the whole flower bed. Hopefully they will look good soon🤞
Hope your garden is starting to pop into life 🌸

Thankyou for a well spoken, chilled and informative video. Love the use of lingo, really helps to build that familiarity and rejog the memory.
Haha yes we never remember, I completely forgot about my bulbs and am off to give them some soil as they’re growing in my cupboard 🤭😂 oops.
Little feedback I noticed at start, when talking about seasons could you add what hemisphere your in, could help with a little confusion however I also don’t recommend one source of info to be all there’s is to know! we have lots of passion and someone always has more time and experience to share on their interests. Such is the beauty of learning.
    Stay fab ✌️💜

Glad the video helped refresh a few things for you, hopefully you will get your bulbs out of the cupboard and planted, to give you a great spring show of flowers.
      All the best 🌼🌸

Enjoyable video to watch, thanks for the insight and showing how to plant them. I've set a bunch of king alfred trumpet daffodil bulbs at the beginning of September in a circular cluster around a cherry blossom tree in the garden, hoping they'll show up for the first year of growth next spring...

      Hi Darragh.
Thanks for watching and your message.
King Alfred has such bold flowers so should put on a great show for you, with flowers that coincide time wise with those from your cherry tree.
A nice addition to the garden.
      All the best 🌸

Ania, All I can say is thanks a lot for your enthusiasm about my video. I’m not so sure all of my videos are worth watching but I hope you enjoy the ones that you pick out. The main thing is that I hope viewers get something useful to help their own gardening.

I've always been confused about the depth to plant - is it measured to the tip of the bulb or the start of the roots?

    • @diyhomeandgardening

Planting depth is roughly twice total bulb length above the bulb you are planting. Something like a daff will end up being at a depth of 20 cm
